The only exit in this chamber is the one you came thorugh. You see a lot that could be worth something,t he huge tapestry is likely worth a great deal, but would also be heavy. Nothing is 'out of place' though, as far as you can tell. You did notice other doors in the kitchen, including one that would likely lead back towards the front of the house. (The one that was across from the one you entered from the back yard.)
Germain and Fletch
The stables look to sometimes hold a wyvern or three, but they are empty at the moment. The well has a hoist, a bucket, and cold water, and it seems to have been carved magically through stone. It is otherwise unremarkable.
Front-Door Crew
Alhorn and Naroth, do you allow Shei to redirect you to one of the doors without signs of muddy footprints?
Ulric leaves his plate on a table with the rest of the food and heads back into the kitchen to go out the other door. He'll move briskly and with purpose as though going to get something expecting the kitchen staff to ignore him.
Did my investigation roll yield anything of note? Or are you waiting for a decision from Naroth and Alhorn before you reveal if Shei found anything.
Waiting on the other two. I am not against you going to check them out alone, but, if they are going with, then I would rather wait for that before moving things along. If they are going upstairs instead, then you would need to decide if you were going to check these other doors by yourself, or if you would change and go with them. best to wait for a concrete idea of who is doing what, prior to moving things along.
Seeing the stables are empty, Fletch casts message to speak silently with Germain. "One wonders when the inhabitants of this dwelling might return. Perhaps we should try to find a way to rejoin Ulric and the others? I am...not the best fighter, should you and I be caught out here."
“I believe we are - in fact- looking for thieves. Usually those are people, so we are looking for: people!” Alhorn proclaims, still marching up the stairs. “Not to worry, look around. I will talk to them if I find them.”
Fletch backs away from the outer buildings and heads back to the main lodge. He attempts to cast message to Shei. "Where have thou gone? Twould seem no one will be attempting to flee from the back, and I would like to regroup."
Shei leads Naroth past the stairs and down the hall. You pass by the more ornate doors and come to the less ornate ones. The door to the North, Shei notices, has small claw marks in the floor, looking as if many clawed feet have gone in and out of it over the years. The door to the South, across from the one with the claw marks, has no such claw marks and is, by far, the cleaner of the two doors. Shei hears a message then, as if Fletch was speaking directly into her ear. She would recognize this as the message spell Fletch often uses. At the same moment the door at the far East end of the hall, just a few feet from where Naroth and Shei are studying the doors, opens. You both have a moment to glance up, but then relax as Ulric is standing there.
Alhorn
Climbing the stairs you come out into a well-appointed hall... What looks to be a well-appointed chamber is filled with furniture and can serve as a place to eat food or discuss important matters. Three men in the room wear scale mail and carry swords; a woman wears robes over white scale mail, and she holds a wand set with a blue gemstone. “Welcome. I consider you to be my guests. Perhaps we can do business.” She says as she watches Alhorn approach.
Ulric
Ulric, walking back through the kitchen you get some grumpy looks, but are otherwise ignored. Opening the door ont he West side of the kitchen you find Shei and Naroth just outside, examining the doors on either side of the hall ahead of you.
Germain and Fletch
You arrive back at the back door of the lodge. Fletch would feel his spell was successful and can wait for a response from Shei.
Ulric shakes his head and speaks quietly once the door closes. "Still outside. Found the kitchen, it seems they are preparing for a meal. The other door out of the kitchen leads to a room with no exits. Our quarry lies elsewhere. It would be wise to stay together. It doesn't seem like we are in for an immediate fight. Perhaps our foes thought the trolls would finish us and are now wary."
There were a total of 5 doors in the kitchen. There was the back door, the door Ulric just took to the hall where Shei and Naroth were, the door to the parlor, and two unexplored doors.

“And just who might you be, Madame?” His demeanor is mixed, fighting his innate desire for charming conversation as he attempts to keep his mind on sussing out a thief. “I do so love business, but I find it a poor choice to pay twice for the same goods and it would appear my goods were stolen.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Shei turns to face the direction the voice came from. "We're in the main hall. Naroth is still with me, Alhorn split off to go find the thieves, and Ulric just showed up. I can send him to go find you if need be?" She then turns to face the door with no scratch marks on and tests the handle to see if it opens, if it does she will slowly open it and carefully look in to see if anyone is in there.
This room contains three beds and a simple writing desk. The room smells clean, and the floorboards are swept spotless. Three servants are in the chamber. An elderly, well-dressed man, a middle-aged woman in a maid's outfit, and a sturdy-looking man wearing huntsman garb. They all look up, a bit resentfully, as the door is opened. The elder man composes himself quickly, standing and bowing. "How may I serve?" He asks.
"Agreed. Thine companions stated they were cultists as well as thieves. Is that a certainty? Thus far the only unagreeable company hath been the trolls."
"I am Talis the White." The white-haired woman says to Alhorn. "It is my belief we can aid each other as we have a common goal I believe." She smiles as she nods to Alhorn. "Your treasure was stolen. Well I know where it is and can even aid you in getting there. What say you?" She seems polite but not warm. It is clear she wants something from you, but is willing to negotiate to get it.

How are you reacting to the elderly servant's words?

(OOC) Nuts. Hadn't planned for that.

Naroth not wanting to split up the party even further while being inside, will follow along behind Shei.
Germain simply nods in response, and gestures politely toward the door to allow him to take the lead.

Germain shrugs and follows along behind Fletch, "Whatever this place, seems they're not openly hostile at least."
