roper
The roper shoots lines out...
1st Tendril against Valen. Melee Weapon Attack: 8 to hit, reach 50 ft., one creature. Hit: The target is grappled (escape DC 15). Until the grapple ends, the target is restrained and has disadvantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws, and the roper can't use the same tendril on another target.
2nd Tendril against Taviel. Melee Weapon Attack: 27 to hit, reach 50 ft., one creature. Hit: The target is grappled (escape DC 15). Until the grapple ends, the target is restrained and has disadvantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws, and the roper can't use the same tendril on another target.
3rd Tendril against Germain. Melee Weapon Attack: 9 to hit, reach 50 ft., one creature. Hit: The target is grappled (escape DC 15). Until the grapple ends, the target is restrained and has disadvantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws, and the roper can't use the same tendril on another target.
4th Tendril against someone missed by the first 3. Melee Weapon Attack: 20 to hit, reach 50 ft., one creature. Hit: The target is grappled (escape DC 15). Until the grapple ends, the target is restrained and has disadvantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws, and the roper can't use the same tendril on another target.
Reel. The roper pulls each creature grappled by it up to 25 feet straight toward it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Valen was missed by the first line, but the fourth snaked out and grabbed him. Taviel was grabbed by the line sent at her, while Germain managed to dodge the one shot at him.
Taviel and Valen were both dragged towards the Roper, Taviel the only one able to reach it, with Valen almost to the roper. (25 feet of pulling doesn't pull Valen all the way there.)
Bite vs Taviel. Melee Weapon Attack: 16 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 17 piercing damage.
Toc watches the kobolds flee, then turns and walks towards the battle, focusing on his magic, several images appear around him (casts Mirror Image ). He gets within 10 feet of Drake2 to square Q37, but can't get close enough to attack.
