Tone follows in with the rest into the tavern and listens respectfully to those who talks. He doesn't acknowledge openly the emotions subtly Tharadin display, but only gives a nod in understanding that there was loss or hardship, something Ton knows all too well. He smiles a bit and chuckles at the wink thrown his way by Quinn and nods as Verna explains her life duties.
As the bar maid delivers the drinks and asks if there is anything else Ton raises his hand, "Some mutton please, and a larger flagon for myself if you have any" He then regards his fellows, no visibly more calm and composed than earlier, "Well, what I do? I am a mercenary doing my best to take goodly jobs and eventually," He leans in a bit and covers his mouth as he whispers "Destroy as many damn Hell Knights as possible." He leans out and returns to his normal voice which he does his best not to let boom as it would probably disturb others and bring too much attention. Ton has grown accustomed to challenges of strength in taverns he visits. There is always a some strong man in the tavern that wishes to remain the local "champion" and usually challenge Ton due to his large size and tough looking exterior. Ton always won these fights and challenges but he was having a good time right now. "They took much from me and I see to repay them in not so kind" Ton Scans the room for anyone that might have picked up on what he said, or if there are any large strong men eyeing him and sizing him up for any kind of challenge.

No one seems to care, though you do pick up on a story about a little girl who last her Father to a Hell Raid 3 months ago.
Fire bolt- Shoot a streaking ball of fire towards a foe and deal a measly 1d10 fire damage. Use eldritch blast instead.
Fireball - Drawing magic from your inner reserves, you unleash a devastating nuke that explodes in a circle, hitting multiple enemies, and burning them to a crisp with a godly amount of 8d6 fire damage. Make your DM’s fights look like garbage. It’s also a nice way of TPK your entire party and have them triggered at you for the rest of the week.

((Sorry for the delay in posting everyone! Life got real busy over the weekend.))
Thoradin listens intently as the others introduce themselves, he feels kinship in some manner with all of them. Ton with his loss to the Hell Knights drawing direct parallels to Thoradin's own story, Ignus with his loss of family such as it was, Quinn with his...well perhaps there's not too much similar there but Thoradin likes him all the same, Verna with her family responsibility in protecting the Feywilds, Morax with his duty to his commander, all solid and respectable.
It be a pleasure to be workin' with ye. He stands at this point, making sure everyone has a drink, and raises his mug, It be an honor to be among ye on this journey. To good health, good cheer, good wealth, and good beer!

((No Worries, it's been that way for all of us I'm sure.))
Ignus will finish the book he was reading. Presumably he would have searched for something on arcane magic, or the history of the region.
Anything he can pick up on? Arcana/History: 23
Doing research on the region, you learn that The Lost Lad has been plagued and pillaged by the Hell Knights for the past 5,000 years, just after a time period known as "The Age of Terror". In Addition, Hell raids have become a seasonal occurrence up north. And even to the south west, The influence of the Legion has been taxing and unpleasant.
You Find nothing in terms of magic, other that its practice has been outlawed in the Town of Xi by the Hell Knights... but something else is off...
Make another Arcana Check... Maybe you'll pick up on the disturbance...
