I'm Nekraen here and on Discord. He/Him, but I tend to play both male and female characters. I think I would most likely like to play a deep elf wizard (Bladesinger) with a level or two of fighter at some point if you are okay with multiclassing. 

A very rough background to my character:

As the youngest child of a noble house (not sure yet which would fit), with very little interest in the political power grabbing and squabbling between nobles, Saelihn has the name and bloodline, but none of the responsibilities or influence of the rest of her house. She instead focused on getting her education at the university (her name at least would open doors there), focusing her studies on Arcana and Law. She joined the watch soon after graduating and has managed to make a bit of a name for herself within the cities police force. She has recently moved to Southtown, preferring it to the more lavish apartment provided by her family in Upcity. In Southtown she was closer to her work, and to people who didn't immediately know her as the "family disappointment".

Dakeleath is a harpist, having played as a nobody background performer for the wealthy and influential of the city. He’s a bit tired of that. He knows that given the right chance, he could really be someone famous, and rich. He’s just looking for his moment...

Unfortunately, his moment has come and gone a hundred times. He has magic in his blood that would’ve clearly made him an asset to a lot of organizations. It’d be fine except he inevitably ends up having a problem with leadership. A lot. 

Thanks for all the responses y’all!  For now I’m closing down applications, and I’ve sent out messages to those accepted. It was partially based on first come first serve and also party class and personality composition. I’ll still keep the thread up in case need to recruit more in the case of members leaving.
