Percival steps up and speaks. "Sir, I can assure you that we are indeed employees of Luskar Deliveries and are here to deliver a package to Maccath the Crimson. We'll only be here as long as it takes to ensure that the package arrives to it's intended recipient. If you would step aside, we'd be able to get on with our business rather quickly."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ava, having no patience for the secruity, walks up and says, "Out of the way big guy. We got work to do and ain't got all day. Move it!" She is trying to be intimidating. Intimidate 11 or add 4 if with strength.
Surly doesn't budge, and gently moves Ava aside, not intimidated by the gruff request. He wasn't even listening to Vetis. Kai couldn't even remember who he worked for, so that wasn't taken seriously. But this Percival one? He passed the roll, but..
However, before Surly stepped aside, he rolled his eyes, slapped his forehead, and pinched his nose. He takes a deep patient breath and pulls out a previous post, holding it out for you guys to see. It's marked Post #16. It says:
"Your instructions were clear. Head to the three customers, pick up their parcels and the gold, and return to the warehouse. It was written in bold so you'd understand what to do and not **** up. After all, this isn't brain surgery here, whatever that is, and you guys are delivery men and/or women."
He puts the post away.
"You guys aren't here to DELIVER a parcel." he says to Percival and Vetis. "I THINK you mean..you're here to PICK UP a parcel she wants SHIPPED with you guys? Why else are you EVENTUALLY HEADING TO ICEWIND DALE?!?!" he yells the last part, as if misreading was already an topic today, and gives both of you a tired, tedious look.
"Oh yes, quite right. Well let's get going away from this oddly meta guard before Crispy gets too frustrated with us." Percival enters with Vetis and seeks out Maccath so that they can get the package and gold from her.

This entire time, Shrek has been deeply engrossed with nose picking, not even giving a rats ass to the concerns of the guard. He's got a job to do, and mouths to feed at home, so that takes up his full two brain-cells worth of faculties. Finally succeeding at picking out a rather large nugget, he proudly presents it to the guard as the carriage pulls through the gate and proceeds onto to manor, seeking out Maccath.

Surly steps aside, shaking his head. After you all pass, he resumes his post.
You enter the Hosttower and Maccath is easy to spot. She has deep red skin and long pitch black hair. She is clearly an academic of some sort, wearing furs and struggling to carry scrolls and tomes. She sees you all, and does her best to come down the stairs, not even bothering to set things down.
"Oh!"she says, trying to wave to you all. "Oh! Today is the day, isn't it! Yes! You're from Luskar Deliverers, aren't you! Excellent, I was ju-WHOA!"
And she drops all of her things, spilling books, papers and scrolls everywhere on the floor.
"Oh, no, oh dear!"she sighs, defeated. "How dreadful! I'm sorry! I guess I was carrying too many things!"
When Kaz proposes the question, Kai looks to be deep in thought, even rubbing his chin for full effect. However, before he could think of something, he is shaken out of thought when he hears the sound of books and paper dropping and flitting to the floor. “Uh oh,”He says, quickly helping pick up the books and scrolls for the lady with gloves hands. “Be careful next time, yeah? You’re not hurt are you?”

Lucas was a tad behind, talking to some children on the street when they were finally let into the area. Meeting and quickly taking a step back in surprise at Maccath's stumble. Quickly snapping out of his mild shock, he kneels down and offers her a hand up, seeing as his coworkers were already retrieving her items. "Hey, don't worry about it. Just breathe, you got a little excited and I doubt anyone's gonna fault ya for that." Lucas gives his usual carefree smile as he helps the red-skinned lady up, patting her on the shoulder as he does, both to dust her off and comfort her. "Sorry to rush ya, but we are in a bit of a hurry. Need help finding what it is you're looking to send out with us up North?"
Vetis watches the little tableau of Maccath and her dropped items a little distantly. She settles for letting the others do the talking, instead looking around the room with detached interest--she's only been in a few of these...inns, before, and only when her job required her to enter such a place.
"Yes, i'm fine, thank you!" Maccath says, clearly embarrassed. "Thank you for your assistance. Yes! The package is just over there by my desk where I was doing my research, I was just grabbing some more items. Come! Let me show you what i've been working on! Truly fascinating."
She leads you to her desk nearby in the Hosttower and starts unraveling scrolls and showing you all papers.
"Many years ago a brave band of adventurers traveled to the Sea of Moving Ice, WELL beyond Icewind Dale - where i'd like my package to go to..and..well, but I digress. These adventurers were looking for a mystical horn that, when blown, only certain dragons could hear. It was a horn made by Tiamat! I was up in the Sea of Moving Ice when they encountered me there, where I, myself, was also doing research on such an artifact. Well, there was a fight with the great white dragon Arauthator, there were cult battles, corn chips, a floating ice citadel - they even managed to survive a direct assault on Tiamat! Pretty brave if you ask me. But they did lose, and that started a terrible chain of events that the sword coast never truly recovered from, especially.."she drifted off in thought, as if remembering a somewhat sad event. "The horn! Here it is!"
She opens a very big box that has a large horn in it. "Look! The Draakhorn! I was able to recover it after the war. Incredible, isn't it!"
Then, she moves large maps around and begins showing you all the major battles fought while Tiamat had returned to the Prime Material, in addition to other dragon related facts and oddities. This goes on for as long as until someone interrupts her.
Kazimir, not one to interrupt someone, gently placed a hand on the rambling academic’s shoulder, “I must apologize, I would not normally break the touch barrier, but you seem to be getting a little carried away, no?” Kazimir smiles warmly at Maccath, “It Is quite attractive, the passion you have for knowledge and dragons and such things, but we are simple delivery people and have many other stops to make. Please tell us the information we need most from you, and let us continue on, mon Cherie.”

Interesting story about this little item, would you like to hear it?"she seems ready to explode with excitement should the answer be yes.
Kai listens to the scholars ramblings with no issues, finding her excitement endearing all in itself. He frowns a bit when Kaz stop her, but when she asks if they’d like to hear another story, he chipperly replies with a, “Hell yeah, dude!”

Battlehammers...always blunt, loud, and rude.
Vetis stayed to the back of the group, watching silently before muttering. "It's not a good look to talk to the air."
Then answer me with your mind, my icy winter.
It's not the best look to zone out while you're holding conversations with the cold either. What's your issue with Battlehammers?
That family has always insisted upon making themselves at home right at my heart, with their roaring forge fires and great hammers.
She's helping right now.
"We have business with Maccath. Do you want to tell her you're the reason she doesn't have her package?"

Vetis is clearly still rather distracted by...whatever was distracting her a moment ago. The air?
