The cold doesn't care about mortals, not the way you care about each other. But it can be strangely protective."

"Sounds like someone's watchin' over you!" Kai would suggest with a grin. "Maybe a great grandma or somethin'? How was life up in the Spine for you then? Easy with the cold being your protector 'n all?"

That, and to also secretly avoid the inevitable conversation with his coworkers. From experience, he knew they’d start to purposefully use big words which would only confuse him, so avoiding conversations just made things...easier.

Kazimir easily duck out of the way of the bandit’s swing, then, pulling a water droplet off the ground flings it forward toward bandit 2, the droplet streaks and freezes into a long, curved knife blade

whether it strikes or not, both Bandit 2 And Bandit 3(or whatever bandit is within 5ft of bandit 2 must make a DC 14 DEX save or take 2 Cold damage as the blade explodes into mini icicles
