Karib looks around, "The place seems quieter than yesterday; has everyone gone back, d'you think?"
He stares toward the door, deep in thought. After a time he shrugs, "The pressing matter is the tunnels, and what's happening to the ... goods. Which leads to the tunnels. Do you think they might have an exit nearby? Why do they have tunnels?"
Again he pauses and rubs his scalp. "Seems to be two possibilities: they come to the surface nearby, or they don't. Neither make much sense to me."
"Well if there are no leads on how to open this door, I say we start making our own way through. Locks only keep honest thieves out, otherwise there is always a way through that isn't as clean and tidy." Hono looks at each of them, "Shall we?"
OOC: We've got one vote for waiting for night so far. Jamna and Carlon can weigh in some more if you'd like them to, but they'll be letting the party take the lead on determining the timing and the action here. When we get some more of a consensus, I will advance. Feel free to utilize the OOC chat to figure out your strategy if you would like.
As for leads on a potential key, I'll let the existing players fill in any more details there around Bog Luck and Ardred Briferhew.
Merric looks around the empty room after Karib’s remark. “It is quiet. Briferhew was set to depart back south today with the empty caravan, and the others must be working on the road. But I doubt they left the place completely unguarded.”
He looks over at Racheal. “Good luck getting anything out of Bog Luck. He doesn’t seem to be the talkative type and is clearly in charge here.” Merric snaps his fingers and looks at Jamna. “That’s it! We searched the rooms upstairs, but we didn’t search his. Ardred pointed it out last night. Maybe we should poke around while the others are about and see if we can find anything. There may be a key or other information.”
Rachael looks over at Hono then back to Rogram. "I'm not sure either of us are very sneaky. Although I guess if I were invisible I might be a touch better at it!" She shrugs, looking around at the group. "Shall we all see about checking out this Bog Luck's room? Maybe we can find something useful. We might not need to be invisible if nobdy's about."
"And if someone is about, perhaps we can persuade them to talk. Tunnels like the ones you described aren't put together overnight without anyone noticing. Someone must know something about them. I agree let's start with this Bog's room, though if we are struggling with one looked door, I'm not sure how another will be helpful." Hono takes a long swig. "Well no time like the present for doing a little recon." Hono looks at the others in turn for agreement.
The outer courtyard is as quiet as the kitchens as you exit the makeshift tavern into the open air. An overnight rain has left the already muddy ground in a sordid state, the muck sucking your boots into the earth a few inches with every step. As you descend the steps into the courtyard, the others are able to point out the door to the warehouse off to the right for Hono and Rachael. Past the steps in the opposite direction, extending beneath the kitchens, is another set of large double barn-sized doors. The other end of the courtyard you are facing is ringed in an L-shaped pattern by two stories of dozens of wooden doors. Carlon nods to the door on the furthest end from the roadhouse's entrance.
"That would be Bog Luck's room. Don't see anyone around today, but who's to say he isn't in it?" he mutters quietly. "And that, on the opposite side, is Ardred Briferhew's. He led the convoy we took here, said to let him know if we needed anything, but like Merric said, he may not even be around now."

Rogram puts the last of his steak in his mouth and then sucks his fingers clean.
Looking around mainly at Karib, Merric, Carlon and Jamna, he asks, "So, what are we doing today, then?"

Rogram leans in again, addressing Rachael and Hono. "I can make someone invisible if they want to snoop around."
