Startled by the dragonclaws attacking Yevele on sight Smoke takes a moment to react before moving forward.
I dont think they are going to stop!
Smoke moves his hands forward chanting the words For that greeting your power will be fleeting!
Small tendrils of purple energy appear on the bodies of the dragonclaws as the tendrils try to work their way into bodies.
He looks to Yevele as she has dodged their wave of attacks While their filled with hate you are doing great!
Hearing his words he pauzes a moment Hmm.. its not really the time, for my words to rhyme.
Movement: Smoke will move forward to get about 15 ft behind Yevele or as close to that as he can get Action: Casting Bane on both dragonclaws. DC 14 CHA Bonus action: Bardic Inspiration on Yevele. For 10 minutes, the creature can add it to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw. This can be added after seeing the roll, but before knowing the outcome. (1d6)
Realizing that they aren't willing to talk, Yevele will take a two-handed swing at the dragonclaw on her right: Attack: 16 Damage: 7 followed by a kick to the same individual: Attack: 22 Damage: 7
OOC: Botting Thia for this round with a crossbow attack.

While Rogram distracts one of the men, attempting to grapple him away, Yevele swings her sword with unexpected force at his companion. Unable to hold against the strength of the blow, her opponent's scimitar flies from his hand in his attempt to block. The accurate kick that follows silences him.
Wresting free from Rogram, the remaining enemy sneers, "Do you take Rezmir for a fool?" He grimaces as Thia fires a bolt into his thigh, his confidence further fading as Smoke's magic affects his strikes toward the half-dwarf.
Round 3 Order: Players <===== Dragonclaw
Placement: Yevele and Rogram are engaged in melee combat with the remaining dragonclaw.
Yevele will turn toward the remaining raider and attack him with her fists, aiming to knock the raider out rather than kill him. Holding her sword in her left hand, she will punch the raider with her right hand: Attack: 24 Damage: 7, followed by a kick for her bonus action: Attack: 19 Damage: 5
She will then rely on agile parr for the remainder of her turn.
Seeing his companions go after the remaining dragonclaw Smoke takes a moment to look around to see if he spots any other raiders lurking around. Then rushes towards the others pulling out his rapier and making sure the dragonclaw is surrounded.
Unless you want to end up like your friend here, i suggest you surrender!Smoke says to the dragonclaw while holding his rapier towards him.
Rezmir.. The dragon lady? Is she still here?
Movement: Moving within melee range of the dragonclaw Action: Help i suppose? to try and get the dragonclaw to surrender.

Yevele's fist slides into an opening between scimitar swings and shatters the man's nose. He barely has the time to react before the monk has already spun to the side, sending a kick to his temple that sprawls him out onto the ground unconscious.
Area Description:
The cavern you stand in contains a pair of natural columns. Further ahead, you can see a broad set of steps descending into the darkness.
OOC: Each character has received 100 XP for defeating the pair of dragonclaws.
Yevele will pull her rope out and use it to tie up the unconscious dragon claw. As she is doing this, the monk motions to Smoke and Thia to check the stairway and make sure the party is surprised by anyone coming up from below. After the cultist has been tied up, Yevele will look closely at him to see if this might be the individual she first saw in the cave.
Smoke nods to Yevele as she starts to tie up the dragonclaws. He will move to the corner of the wall and peek around across the stairs using his small steel mirror at first and then poking his head around to see if he can spot anyone or hear a commotion.
He will put his mirror back in his pocket and keep a firm grip on his rapier with the other hand. If Smoke does not see anything down the stairway he will wait for Yevele to finish and start moving down the stairway as quietly as he can.
"What is going on here?" Rogram asks after the scimitar-wielder drops to the ground out of his grasp. "Is he dead? I wanted to ask him what was going on. Was this a trap? A test?"
Yevele looks up as she is tying the unconscious cultist up and says "Not dead. I just knocked him out. We'll be able to question when he wakes up. I suspect he'll have a nasty headache, but, should be able to answer our questions."
Smoke pushes forward while Yevele binds the unconscious man, bringing his mirror up for a tactical view of the area further into the cave. The mirror quickly proves useless, however, as the light from the night sky outside does not stretch past these wide stairs.
For Smoke:
The entrance to the cave ends here at a 10-foot drop-off. To your right, broad steps are roughly hewn into a natural stone ramp. The cavern below is carpeted with a profusion of fungi ranging from a few inches high to nearly as tall as a human adult. Two paths lead through the fungi: one on the right and one on the left.
OOC: Welcome back Thia! Added dragonclaw mask to Yevele's inventory.
Providing an open area description of the room beyond the stairs, now that it is being watched more openly.
Smoke and Thia watch over the empty cavern below while Yevele and Rogram search over the unconscious man, removing his mask. They find nothing of interest in his armor or clothing. The man appears to be in his mid-20s, with close-cropped dark hair. He is not recognizable to the party.
Past the stairs, the entrance to the cave ends at a 10-foot drop-off. To your right, broad steps are roughly hewn into a natural stone ramp. The cavern below is carpeted with a profusion of fungi ranging from a few inches high to nearly as tall as a human adult. Two paths lead through the fungi: one on the right and one on the left.
When the others are finished with the dragonclaws Smoke will move down the stairs making sure he places his feet carefully not to slip on any fungi/moss and move to the nearest path through the fungi (assuming the left) and try to remain unseen hugging the wall where possible and using the larger fungi as cover.
Once he sees any other tunnels or a large open space he will stop and wait on the others. Untill then he regularly looks back and wave them over if it looks safe.
Smoke will keep his rapier in hand, ready for any guards that are in hiding.
Rogram takes the mask and the scimitar from the dead raider. Noticing for the first time that Smoke has disappeared and that Thia has her attentions further in the cave, the half-dwarf says to Yevele. "Smoke and Thia want to continue into the cave, but I'd like to question this one," he says of the unconscious raider. "They really shouldn't go alone."

Yevele will go over and remove the mask from the dead cultist and search his body for any clues. investigation 17
If the other cultist hasn't regained consciousness by the time she has finished her search, the monk will place the mask into her backpack.
Smoke will remain at the corner peeking down to see if anyone is coming while the others are busy with the dragonclaws.
In case Smoke notices anyone coming he will use Prestidigitation to warn the others using as little sound as possible.
OOC: sorry for delay posting. Christmas break and a new job role have kept me really busy!
