Taking Mormesk's stepping up(and presumably out of his home) as his cue that things were truly fubar, Tagret flexes his arms and lets out a roar of fury before rushing headlong at Mormesk yelling, "Hands off, Spook!" The fall of his axe punctuates his point and then some, guided as it was further by Misha's magic towards whatever amounted as a weak point for the terror.

Saravena knows she is in severe trouble....if she tries to run it will touch her again and thats almost certain death...desperately she fires her crossbow point blank at it.

"I really need the darkness spell, Rashana! So this thing can't see us, you know I can see in the magical dark!" 

Using his sword as a focus guiding bolt at Mormesk Attack: 7 Damage: 16

Rashana nods and hands her dagger to Misha. As she does so, darkness spreads ot from the hilt, she the crouches down, wondering what Misha plans.

As Rashana casts Darkness the room and the wraith disappear from view as it is plunged into a inky darkness.

However, despite Misha's claims of seeing in the darkness, he still manages to miss.

With Saravena having been in front of him, Mormesk attempts to attack her again.

(Attack: 23 Damage: 12 necrotic damage.)

"Hah! Now you can't--! Wait! I can't see now! Rasha! Drop this stupid spell!"  Tagret yells as he brings his axe down once more to where he saw -- or at least, thought he saw the 'Spook' last, hoping the creature hadn't the wisdom to reposition in the darkness.

(OOC: Feel free not ignore Tagret's request. xD And I presume it's a flat roll for attack blinded vs a blinded target. But if not, Tagret will reckless to counteract the disadvantage)

Saravena ducks the wraiths claws in the dark by some miracle.

Misha fires off his eldritch blast at Mormesk Attack: 12 Damage: 5 and casts healing word to Saravena 6

add 2 damage for hexblades curse for a total of 18 damage

Misha's casting of the Eldritch Blast in the dark catches Mormesk off guard. Striking into his side, he is weakened now.

Mormesk attempts to attack Saravena but misses as he is no longer sure where she is.

Saravena ran back out of reach of the Wraith, raising her crossbow ready to fire again.

Action- Disengage.

If nothing else, Tagret could at least still roughly hear the spook that was Mormesk as tried to harry the others. So once more he'd let out a frustrated growl as the greataxe is brought bearing down at the spirit or at least roughly where he thought it was, hoping to cleave in twain! Though failing that for a 3rd time, the goliath would start trying to maneuver his way into Mormesk's room and out of the darkness, hoping to from there yell and bait the spirit out.

Movement: Try to maneuver into the room. (Spending full 30ft of movement to do so, or wind up elsewhere outside the darkness. Up to DM)

Tagret attempts to attack the wraith with his great axe. However, he is not sure whether he knows where Mormesk is as his weapon misses his foe.

Rashana exits the area of darkness long enough launch an arrow at Mormesk before retreating back into hiding.

Misha fires off another eldritch blast to hit 18 damage 11 (in game log)

Misha fires an Eldritch Blast at the wraith, finishing Mormesk off for good.

Saravena slaps Misha on the back, " Good show all, stupid dead people always gotta be unsociable."

She entered the building once more and began poking around.

Investigation- 22

If the darkness isn't dropped...

Tagret licks his lips then grins in excitement. For surely any moment now the spook would flee the darkness in his direction. That would be the moment the axe head comes down, ending its miserably existence! So he'd stay poised and ready and quiet with his axe held high, not wanting to spoil the surprise awaiting even at the price of losing some of the power and fervor from his ancestors...

If the darkness IS dropped....

"Wha-! It's gone?! Wait, did you-!?" But with the answer being all too clear in the looks of his friends face, he lets out a defeated sigh, before then with a bit of a huffs, rests the haft of his axe against a shoulder and smirks. "Looks like I missed the best part! Well done! Think I'll stay out here though in case more spooks or dead heads come roaming this way." He asserts, before taking up a spot beside the door frame and leaning against the building, waiting for the others to either call on his aid or finish their investigation.

"Rashana you can drop the darkness spell, please, Mormesk, has passed on, from here. Thankyou mi lady" Misha jumps a little when Saravena slaps him on the back. "Yeah, it needed to be done, but I cant help thinking, we just destroyed one of this caves guardians." Remembering that the spirit attacked Saravena.

"Are you alright Saravena?"

In response to Tagret, Misha explains.

"Mormesk, passed on Tagret, you struck a mighty blow earlier but, I think he would of killed you, us without Rashana, blinding him. Mormesk almost killed Saravena. I have an ability granted by my fathers sword, that allows me to see far, in color even in magical darkness It gives me an advantage to those who, can't."
