Petra feels a little bit sad about the fate of the Belle, but is snapped out of it by the falling debris. She narrowly dodges, almost too distracted by her teammates sweet moves
If there was anything left of the aft section, it now lies in a sad pile of barnacles and warped, destroyed wood. It's almost as if the Belle was angry, or bitter, for some reason, and wanted to take it out on trespassers. But that would of been a silly notion - ships don't have personalities. Right? Anything nearby would have definitely heard the back end of the ship crumble apart.
Petra places a hand on the wood pile (I bet that she's done that before, heyo), as if to apologise for what happened to it and pray that it's crew is in a better place.

Regulus climbs out of the pile of wreckage he was buried under. “Well, that sucked a little. Before we keep moving maybe we should investigate those watery curtains, I don’t trust them.”

This passage has a 20-foot-high, arched ceiling and contains three 1-foot-thick, magic curtains of translucent, shimmering green seawater. Each watery curtain stretches from floor to ceiling and wall to wall. Sound passing through a curtain is greatly reduced; only creatures within 5 feet of it can hear anything from the other side.
Eris remained calm under pressure at the collapse, avoiding most of the debri with little to no effort and looking damn good doing it. She passes a glance over the curtains. "Is this really water though...?" She asks, doubtful, flicking her wrist and casting out a Mage Hand to touch the curtains first.

The curtain of water, rolling gently, makes no sound itself, but you can tell some sort of magic has made them into various curtains from top to bottom in the cavern. They're literally water drapes. How odd.
Petra backs up a few feet and curiously jabs at the water curtain with her pike. Does it actually form holes like it would in a regular drape or does the water fill up the spot like nothing ever happened?

It's like sticking a pole into a very gently running waterfall, if that makes sense. It gets wet, it seems to obey physics, more or less, but it's clearly magic. So far, seems harmless.
Petra shrugs her shoulders. "It seems that this water is just water. If one of you is capable of doing more than poking it, go ahead, but I suggest that we simply walk through, as a free wash-off would not be the worst thing after going through 19 levels of this dungeon."

The hand gets drenched. It’s definately water.
Petra walks up to the curtain of water, just close enough to listen.
