"Well, it's an elemental artillery piece, so presumably there's a giant cannon. I was hoping they could recover dragonshards and if luck was in their favor, an elemental ring. Those sell very nicely."
"It's directly east of Salvation. Just barely into the Gray, right along the trench line that was setup in the final days of the war."

Ella ignored Zodor's question (they did not promise any information from their side, did they?) and just watched the conversation, still trying to read broker's face and gestures.
Maphira has been hanging back out of the conversation, but in the office, the book in question tucked away in the pack on her shoulders. She'll hand it over if they come to an agreement to give it back to Zodor.
The shifter laughs shortly, answering the question with a shrug. "If the Gray doesn't mess with you? Can probably reach it in half a day. Her crew has been out there before. Sometimes it takes that long, sometimes days."
"They left early this morning, before the sun came up as far as I know."
Ivello looks to his companions and shrugs. "We'll have to make do with this information then."He motions for the rest to leave, heading towards the door after Madik. Over his shoulder to Zodor he says,"You get your book back after we verify the information was good. If Whist isn't where you say, the deal is off."
The broker seemed to be truthful, but Ivello was right, of course - giving away such leverage would be unreasonable. She nodded to him and graciously moved towards the door alert to the potential attack of a desperate man, though.
The Shifter grits his teeth and lets out a low growl, but doesn't seem too surprised by the outcome. "Very well. I'll hold you to that, Elf."
Swinging the door back open, you can see one of the two brutes standing outside peak their head inside with a questioning look. With a sharp head shake from Zodor, he shrugs and crosses his arms. Neither make any move to stop you all as you walk out.
Skrípi you would see your new party finally emerge from the building. None of you are really able to spot him however.
"That went well," commented Ella when the group was out of earshot of the guards, "Shall we straight to the dig site? I think we are all ready. Though... Where is Skrípi?"
"Nice trick," Ellaly looked at suddenly appeared Skrípi with a professional interest. "Apparently our target is on the way to the Grey, or already there. So, we are following. Fortunately, Maddie knows the way." She followed the cleric not without some excitement - finally they were about to get to the Grey!

Madik is happy to lead the way, heading roughly east through Salvation, and beyond. Sticking to the main roads and the most direct, beaten paths.
She walks, wielding her shield, which is engraved with her holy symbol (and all the various symbols of The Nine). Her warhammer is slung over her back for now.
She sets an average pace, unless anyone urges her to hurry or slow down, and seems very comfortable marching: clearly used to it, from her time in the war.
You head out from Salvation, quickly leaving the outpost behind you.
Just outside the outskirts, a titanic fogbank extends like a cliff wall along the border of the Mournland. AS you approach it, the fog churns into ominous shapes: screaming faces, collapsing buildings, and outstretched hands. Explosions flash within the gloom, but no sounds are heard.
Entering the fog, the temperature drops and you hear whispering, scratchy voices from all directions. You feel like you're being watch, but before you have time to rethink your decision, you emerge from the fog into a gray, blasted battlefield. You have entered the Mournland.
As you trudge through the Gray, the weather slowly begins to worsen, the clouds growing darker than usual, and streaks of silent silver lightning lash the sky. After a couple hours of travel, a stab of angry lightning illuminates a huge artillery piece on the horizon: a huge cannon angled at the sky.

"Few others that normally run in her crew. Two humans and a dwarf fella, don't know their names."
“Hmm...” Madik plods a little closer to the desk, thoughtful, “...So what’s exactly at this abandoned elementary artillery piece? And where is it?”.

(Believe Maphira does, that's correct)
(and to all of us watching he still sounds honest?)

((Correct. At this point, you can tell you've got him cornered, and he's telling you the truth.))
“Hmm...” Madik says, thoughtfully, as she turns back towards the door and plods back in that direction, to take up her position there again.
((@DM: is the door open, by the way? Or has it swung shut?))
((anyone have anything more to do here? Or should we head after Whist?))

“Straight to the dig site sounds good to me!” Says Maddie, smiling and nodding to Ella.
She looks around for Skripi, and thinks ‘good lookout!’, impressed with the strange fellow’s knack of blending into the background.

Skrípi quickly makes sure that nobody other than his party is looking, and then steps out of the shadows.
"Skrípi is here. Let's go."
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
