The creature emerging from the vent goes diagonally up to the ceiling from the vent like a stretching tree snake.
Its hooked clawed legs gripping into the ice looking toward the illusion. It's dripping a molten hot liquid from its external mandibles. It is bright blue and spike encrusted on to and bright red along its underside, head to tail. It is roughly ten feet long.

Not having any experience with this kind of creature, and not knowing what it is besides some big insect that maybe likes to eat dragon eggs, Silenus takes Rinn's lead. Would be a shame to have to kill the animal. He waits to see if it goes off to investigate Rinn's magical talking.
Action - Ready Hand Axe (assuming the Remorhaz up on the ceiling would put it out of melee range)
Rolls if comes into play (the creature not taking the bait and instead coming towards them to attack) Attack: 19 Damage: 7
Silenus's eyes go wide at the sight of the white spider in the big bug's jaws. His attention shifts from it to looking around to see if there are any more of these spiders sneaking up on them.

With your previous perception checks and the Remorhaz giving you direction, you now notice, Rinn better than Silenus, 16 of these large, as big as your ox, spiders nearly undetectable against the ice covered landscape of the keep ceiling. The nearest one is thirty feet from you, then two are further off, maybe forty feet, and the rest are in small clusters sprinkled farther back along the ceiling.
Silenus counts what Rinn points out and his eyes go wide. Even his normal enthusiasm about combat is tempered a bit by this many giant ice spiders. Do they appear to be reacting to Rinn and Silenus at all?
As you move away toward the southern front of this chamber, you find more ice encased bodies, the remnants of a long abandoned armory, and the south wall with slits for viewing the bridge and gatehouse complex. Two long dead large fireplaces stand on either side of this end of the chamber. There are still piles of coal and wood. Though it's encased in frost and ice.

Silenus gestures at the fireplace and and sticks his head inside and looks up.
"We can climb up here," Silenus messages back to Rinn.
If Rinn doesn't seem opposed to the idea, Silenus starts working his way up the inside of the chimney, putting his back to one side and legs and arms to the sides. (Athletics: 23 )
Rinn nods in response and sends his mage hand up the chimney with the grappling hook and rope before Silenus starts to climb. While Silenus climbs, he keeps watch around the room.

(( Your turns ))
Rinn stays completely still, readying to his attack should the creature turn towards he or Silenus.
Rolling ready for reaction:
Longbow Attack: 12 Damage: 12
Sneak Attack if applicable: 4
Young Remorhaz. (Huge Monstrosity)
Armor Class 17 (natural armor)

You both watch ready as you see the Young Remorhaz snap forward, diagonally from you.
It draws back toward the vent with a white, nearly translucent spider in its jaws.
If you do nothing, the Young Remorhaz will back into the vent dragging the spider with it, leaving you to deal with any others that remain.
Silenus's eyes go wide at the sight of the white spider in the big bug's jaws. His attention shifts from it to looking around to see if there are any more of these spiders sneaking up on them.

Silenus counts what Rinn points out and his eyes go wide. Even his normal enthusiasm about combat is tempered a bit by this many giant ice spiders. Do they appear to be reacting to Rinn and Silenus at all?
They are not reacting at the moment, no.
Rinn backs away slowly, bow ready still just in case (Stealth: 19).
Are you going back down the rope, into the main chamber, or south, toward the 'front' of this floor?
If south to the front takes us away from the spiders, Silenus would head that way.
Rinn is covering Silenus, so whatever way he moves, Rinn follows about 10ft behind, with a watchful eye.
As you move away toward the southern front of this chamber, you find more ice encased bodies, the remnants of a long abandoned armory, and the south wall with slits for viewing the bridge and gatehouse complex. Are there any other exits from this room? Are the fireplaces and chimneys large enough to climb up in?
The fireplace chimney do seem large enough to climb through.
No other exist is visible in this ice encased floor.
"Maybe we should head back down. I don't see any other way out." Rinn messages quietly to Silenus.
Silenus gestures at the fireplace and and sticks his head inside and looks up.
