The halfling druid takes a steadying breath before conjuring a shard of ice and throwing it at the farthest kobold (K1). (Casting ice knife!) Attack: 21 Piercing Damage: 9
When the ice shard impacts the kobold, it explodes in a 5' sphere, potentially hitting both K1 and K6 with a blast of freezing shrapnel! (Each must make a DC14 Dex save or take 6 cold damage!)
Landing and accepting the accurate dagger thrust as his due, Kano reverses his spin and kicks once more, a thunderous assault. He then prepares to parry (Circle Block) should one of the kobolds land another blow:
DC 15 Constitution Save or take sonic damage: 3 to all within 5 feet.

The arrow hit him out of nowhere and it went straight through his leather armor to pierce into his shoulder. The bite Adracos felt was agonizing. He had just cut down one of the Kobolds and was about to finish of the other one beside him as the pain suddenly made him hesitate. He couldn't tell how deep the arrow had penetrated but he quickly confirmed that his arm was still moving. Before the anguish could bring him to the ground, Adracos again swung his blades. There was only one way forward. They had to win or he would die here. "It's over for you now!", he yelled at the second kobold as it slashed at him with a dagger unsuccessfully (K3).
His anger rising with Ka's successful resistance to his spell, Tengar hefts his javelin and throws it at 1) K3if it is still standing or 2) Kaif it is still standing.

With another thunderous roar, the immense blue dragon swoops on over sends a sheet of crackling lightning just over all your heads. A near-deafening crash is heard from the keep above; cries from the wounded or expressions of anguish as devastation is continued to be rained on the once sleepy town.
With all your senses reeling from the proximity of the dragon's blast, your ears clear first and you hear rushing footsteps; the Rescue Team has arrived with townsfolk in tow. They are quick to notice you are not part of the enemy with kobolds and robed figures dead at your feet. They townsfolk are quick to help themselves to the door. The Rescue Team spare a moment to see how you are all doing and begin to check in if they can magically tend to wounds...
The cleric shakes his head free of dust and debris, coughing and hacking as people rush past. He spies a figure who looks like they might be able to help him with his wounds and asks as much (as long as his more injured comrades get attention, he will accept the healing help).
Trying to catch the attention of one of the more nimble looking members of the group, he nods towards the cloaked figures, points at his eyes with his fingers and then towards the dead enemy bodies. Then, he gets to his feet to check on the rest of the party to see if they're okay before collecting his javelins, cleaning and stowing them on his back.
"If you can provide healing, I'd be grateful.", Adracos grunted as he pulled the arrow out of his leather armor, blood dripping from its point. He turned to his new companions and said, "How should we proceed? Should we head back to the castellan?"
"We should hide these bodies so none of their friends are led to the tunnel by investigating their deaths. Then we can secure the doors and return for healing and rest, if needed. After that last attack, I'm sure they need some help inside the keep..." Pimster says. He will also investigate the cloaked figures, taking the cloaks and any signets, medallions, or other bits of potentially identifying items.
"Alright, that's good." The man looks to all of you and begins to proclaim in a language none of you understand. As his dark, bald head originally glows from the moonlight it suddenly shifts to a stark, warm light to that of the sun over several minutes.
Investigation check: Kano - 9 Pimster - 17
While Kanosifts through one of the cloaked figures pockets, he doesn't find anything worth noting; a piece of seaglass, a very cheap locket and a letter of a promise to return.
Pimsternotices a symbol made of claws bound together made of different colours; red, blue, green, black and white.
As the man continues to chant verse, you suddenly feel a warmth bloom within you. The injuries recently had spike in pain, but it's quickly and soft eased to almost nothing at all.
OOC:
Tengar, you only find one javenlin that is re-usable, the other snapped as the kobold went tumbling. Tengar you also recognise the spell as Prayer of Healing You all heal 12 from the cleric's spell.
"Look what I found - some kind of insignia. Let's hide these bodies and then get back inside. Master cleric, thank you for the healing prayer - it will be needed by many others this night, I fear."
The cleric bows and advances to you all, "It's good news we have access to the tunnel. The castellan would want to hear from you, see if you can do more; we need all the help we can get." His tone steady and calm, but with a severity that was only honest.
Once the group finds the castellan, Pimster will show him the multi-colored claw amulet he retrieved from the cultist. "The tunnel is clear. We found some kobolds inside the tunnel, and more outside. All are dead and disposed of. I found this amulet on one of the humans with the small scaly creatures. A cult sign, I guess. So, what else do you need from us?"

The castellan laughs at the half-orc, "All the time, lad! But no, we ain't made for dragons! This ain't made for dragons!" He gestures to the keep.
He takes the amulet in his hand, flips it while his face holds bemused, "I ain't seen nothing like it. A cult, you say? I can only guess what they're about... Anyway, come! I've got to show you our two next striking points!"
Castellan Escobert begins to lead you all through the keep at a pace as there's suddenly a heavy beat of wings and deep shattering sound of splintering wood as the dragon smashed whatever locks off the main gate 50 ft. wide open allowing cultists and kobolds to crawl in.
"Those bastards! I'll get the wounded out of here, you deal with them!" Escobert heaves two soldiers to safety.
The druid pulls a shortbow off his shoulder, fits an arrow, and fires at one of the larger acolytes (A4). "Oh no you don't! You're not gettin' in here to hurt these innocent folk!"
