The work of soldiers and mages look to be coming to a finish. As the final spell comes to an end, the clink! sound confirms the final chain to be repaired. On an order bellowed by Escobert, the gate comes slamming closed! A few kobolds and their large lizard can be heard hissing in frustration and futility.
Escobert's celebration is short lived; his raised fist in victory deflates into the combing of his beard as a halfling in dark clothing is leaning in close, clearly giving him an update. After a moment they part; the halfing leaves to fulfil an order given while the dwarf approaches the group.
"Hey, you lot... one more if you don't mind. I mean, you've only been legendary so far. Can I ask a couple more favours on behalf of Greenest? While it -"
The rumbling shadow passes over, a catch of blue scales from the torchlights and a growl from the dragon sends tremble through everything all around. You hear a few firing of bolts and slings of a few spells; they either miss or lost to the dark that was settling over the town.
A heavy breath, the dwarf continues, "it would great if you can help us have a look at the storekeep. The cultists numbers are thinning, but... a few of them have discovered where we keep a lot of our resources for the town. The storekeep was locked up, and from what I've heard there's been some attempts from the townsfolk to keep it that way, but it has now caught the cultists' eye. Can you check to see if they've managed to get inside? If you need to catch a breather, or a minute to decide, that's alright; we got some night left."
The castellan's attention is stolen away by other concerns or resource updates, leaving the group to decide if they were to go and when...
Ophelia ducks instinctively as the dragon flies overhead, then cranes her head and stands on her toes, a futile attempt at getting a better look. Disappointed, she tries to dust herself off, inadvertently smearing blood on her dress. Silently fuming, she looks round the others. "I'm ready..."
Keen to see this night come to an end, the group decide to keep moving. Led back into the open of Greenest by the inconspicuous side gate, there is a quieter, less frantic atmosphere. But with that comes the chilling notion of no one being on the lookout if things go horribly wrong.
Traversing Greenest - A Skill Test Reminder of the Rules:
Kobold and cultist send chaos through the streets of Greenest! You are to navigate through the town by using your Skills, Spells or Proficiencies to remain undetected, cause distraction or create other means of avoiding combat with the assailants of the town. You can move one square in any direction. The same skill or character cannot be used in sequence. Creative use of a spell or skill will allow in lower DC or advantage, a failure would activate a random encounter. Also, you can decide as a group to attack with a surprise round, if you wish!
Good luck!

With Toh's impressive capability of keeping the material upheld and steady, he's given compliments by the mages as they are focus on efficiency.
As Ophelia's spell flares to life, the workers all look to with faces or gestures of approvals as they they seemingly undo the damage.
With the overspill of Ophelia's spell into the night, Jack would notice a scattering of individuals are approaching the broke gate.
With the help of the others, the gate looks to be repaired enough to be effective, but it cannot be certain...
