Chill smiled at the revelation of the invisible bridge.
"Very cool, very very cool."
He'll tie whatever ropes the others feel are necessary for their safety. As soon as Rhogar crosses and confirms that the other side is safe he looks to Kazri and gives a short bow and gestures to the bridge.
"Ladies first. I will follow after as Krom wishes to take the last. Will Oli follow?"

As Rhogar shows his physical prowess, Kazri sees that the Dragonborn is not a pushover in the strength department. "Yes, indeed Mr. Nimbatuul. I will make a mental note not to exclude you when it comes to physical activities in the future."
Kazri is surprised to see that the invisible bridge actually exists. She didn't think it would be the case, but she figured the construct must have been wrong. She cautiously takes the first step after Rhogar, then Chill stops her in her tracks. "Indeed Chill, Oli must come with us." Please give me a moment. She approaches an excited Oli. She touches her head to his, and soon his excitement turns into slight apprehension. "Trust me my friend. I will not allow you to get hurt." Kazri has Oli go in front of her, and she goes right after him.

The party takes the precautions they deem necessary to cross the invisible bridge. With the pebbles thrown onto the surface its area is easy enough to understand and crossing is not difficult. Oli does resist initially but some soft coaxing by Kazri and she is able to aid the large owlbear across the gap. Soon the whole party is across.
Rhogar has found no signs of danger or glyphs when he reached the far side.
You enter a room on the other side. Your reflections dance over the mirrored surfaces of this chamber. Eleven alcoves extend from the walls like the points of a star, each one narrowing to a niche where a gently glowing crystal is mounted five feet above the floor. The air seems to hum with pent-up power.
Krom scratches his chin as he looks around at each alcove. "Not what I was expecting," the dwarf mutters. He gestures towards the crystals. "Do you think these might be portals to the other floors of this forsaken tower?" All things considered, it would make sense."
"Possibly. Very, very possibly -- But, can you all feel that? Feel the air practically alive with magic? With power?" Rhogar said with Gorrah practically vibrating after crawling out from his hood to rest on Dragonborn shoulders. "I haven't quite felt this way since the time Brother Vixix offered to show me how he always managed to keep storms at bay from the village."The dragonborn further confesses. "It makes me wonder, if..."Like a moth drawn to an open flame, Rhogar began drifting towards the northern most crystal on the most direct course.
If not stopped well before hand by the others, he'd start to reach out for after getting within 5 feet of it, but stop just short of touching it. "Yes.. I wonder..." He pulls it back, and takes a moment to try and pull on the Weave just enough to create in the palm of his hand the beginnings of a cantrip just to see if anything happens. If nothing comes of it, he looks back to the others and shrugs, "Was worth a try", before beginning to pace about the room and try to piece together from the design of the room to the crystal themselves any fragment of knowledge that might convey meaning to it all.

"The way I see it, up would be the way to go. Vel whatever over there said top most level. I don't see a staff and this doesn't look like a study. So there needs to be a way up."
Chill looks around, checks the window outside looking up to see if there might be another level to the tower.
Krom nodding to Rhogar, takes out from his backpack the Professor Orb. "What can you tell us of this room and those crystals? Can be used to travel to different levels of this tower?" The dwarf asks while Chill explores the room.
As the group enters the chamber of crystals, Kazri can sense that Rhogar's excitement all of a sudden. As Rhogar's body starts to move forward, Kazri puts her hands on his shoulder. "Perhaps, we should analyze the situation before getting a closer at those crystals Mr. Nimbatuul." Once she is sure that the Dragonborn will not attempt to interact with the crystals, she crouches on the floor to see if there is any evidence of activity before the group entered this area.

Rhogar can feel the energy of the room and is drawn to investigate one of the crystals. Perhaps Kazri's hand on his shoulder is enough to stop him. As Kazri stoops to look at the floor, she can see that it is polished clean and has no markings or evidence of activity.
Chill looks around, but especially up. He is just pointing out that he can see a well concealed hatchway on the ceiling which is 30 feet up. But as the words leave his mouth everyone is interrupted in what they are doing.
Suddenly, the crystals brighten as rays of energy burst forth one by one to converge in the center of the room. As more of the rays intersect, a translucent figure comes into view where their light converges: a bald man wearing a long, purple gown. His face breaks into a smile as he sees you.
"Welcome visitors, I am Everlast." the figure speaks in a calm and friendly voice.
As the rays of energy burst from each crystal, Krom's hand shifts from the Professor Orb to the handle of his warhammer. The dwarf keeps his hand near the hammer as the sudden apparition speaks, "Another illusion? Or a real person this time?" He asks to the floating orb and to his companions. "Either way, we may at last learn how to reach the other floors and the Mythallar."
Chill is just telling the others that he sees a hatch on the ceiling and pointing out that that way is the way up when the crystals start shedding light.
As the lights begin to coalesce in the center of the room he calls to Rhogar.
"Did you touch something Rhogar?" Both curiosity and mirth are in his voice.
As the figure appears and speaks he can't help but answer.
"Hello, we are the Fellowship of the White Cloaks." He says in response.
"I did no such thing!"Rhogar called back over his shoulder, but otherwise continued to maintain the defensive posture he'd snapped into instinctively upon first glimpsing the light show. As the moments ticked by without the arcane construct launching into some kind of viable attack, only then would the dragonborn ease out of his posturing, though still firmly held his staff as if ready to act at a moment's notice. "Given what we've seen of this place, it could honestly go either way. But if I had to guess, it's likely akin to those phantoms in the previous chamber." He conveys without taking his eyes off the figure. "My compatriot there has given our name. Now I ask thee, Everlast, what is your purpose?"

The Professor Orb answers Krom. "It appears to be an illusion, a very sophisticated one. A projected personae by the looks of it, not just a simple illusion."
"Welcome Fellowship of the White Cloaks. Yes, I am a projection. But not of another creature that is elsewhere. I am a projection of, well, myself." The figure says in answer. "My purpose is simple, to aid in the city’s restoration." Everlast's tone is friendly and hospitable.
"I see..."Rhogar responded, still seeming wary, though enough to ease some tension left in the shoulders. "In which case, might you also be able and willing to explain or provide the means by which we may further ascend this tower? Also, does your idea -- no, do you too expect to make use of the chronolith to restore the city? Or might there have been other contingencies on that front as well?"

"In that case, we might finally get some straight answers," Krom replies, lowering his hammer. After Rhogar finishes speaking, the dwarf turns to the projection and asks, "Do you know on which floor the Mythallar is located?"
"Are you are aware that there is a set of armor that named herself as Veneranda? She also wants to restore the city." When everyone is done asking question, Kazri makes her inquiry.

Iriolarthas was unable to repair it.” He then pauses and continues. "As for your other questions, I cannot help you. My orders prevent me from revealing the city’s secrets to outsiders.”
He turns his attention to Kazri as she asks her question. "Veneranda? She is still alive after all of these years? Interesting. I am glad to hear she wants to help."
Rhogar shrugged, but as the initiative to answer is stolen away with the right assessment, he merely crossed his arms over his chest and patiently listened to Everlast. Though before conversation shifted over to Kazri's query, the dragonborn has an unmasked frown on his face as he stares up at Everlast. "And if our aim was to aid in the city's restoration -- aiding that would require our ascension of this tour, would you yet be unable to provide assistance? Alternatively, if we were to discover a means of a our own to continue our explorations of this town, would you be obligated to intercede in some manner?"

"It seems I was too optimistic in hoping for any help, or even proper information, from a denizen of this forsaken city," Krom says with frustration as the projection replies. The dwarf then gestures to the hatch in the ceiling that Chill discovered. "Since this illusion is providing no tangible aid, and we are running out of time, that hatch above seems to be our only way up. If we throw a grappling hook, we should be able to reach it."
