With everyone in agreement and the rope in place to ease returning to the upper flooring, Rhogar took to sitting near the invisible bridge and pass the time loosely keeping watch. The odds of their being pursuers outside of a certain goddess herself were slim to none, but the act of doing so, even if only absentmindedly, was oddly... comforting for the dragonborn. He had no need to worry of Gorrah listening in, as the psuedodragon remained adamant about hanging around the owlear and keeping Oli company. And most of the others would either be busying themselves doing gear maintance, sharing stories, or perhaps brainstorming alternative solutions should neither divine or arcane magic avail the party. Such was his expectations, but in many ways the White Cloaks were an unorthodox lot.
If left to his own devices, Rhogar eventually dug about his belongings and put together some loose bits of scrap paper and half-broken charcoal pencil and scribbled away at something. He takes care to avoid letting anyone read his writtings, and if asked, he dismisses it as simply jotting down some ideas. But once he feels at least some of his strength return to him (courtesy of Brother Vixix), Rhogar promptly put everything away and called everyone together to ascend the spire once more... Preferably no more than one or two at a time, as to avoid over taxing the ropes.
"Ma-.... Krom. You made mention of calling upon an, uhh, miracle to try and dispel the barrier. If you so wish to try now, then by all means. But as for the rest of us, we should be ready in case this prompts the towers defenses to activate. I suspect the same will happen should I call upon my own magics to circumvent the barrier with someone else in tow... speaking of which, if I am to do so, who is coming along for the first trip?"He asks of the party once everyone had been gathered together again.

"Of course Rhogar, I'll try to dispel that barrier." The dwarf says grasping his holy symbol. "Be ready for everything." Krom begins a hymn of guidance then gesturing towards the barrier chants a hymn of abjuration.

Completing your rest you climb back up to the top and rejoin Chill. There Krom chants his hymn to dispel the barrier that prevents you from moving on. Unfortunately as Krom finishes his hymn the barrier still remains in place.
Krom scratches his beard, shaking his head in disappointment as the hymn fails to dispel the arcane barrier. "That enchantment is extremely powerful and therefore, I fear, extremely dangerous, my friends." The dwarf says to the rest of the group. "I still have the strength to attempt the dispelling hymn at least two more times, or I could try to shape the stone around the passage to create a new opening, if the wall isn't too thick. But to do the latter, I'll have to touch the stone, so first, we'll need to find a way out of this ice dome."
"Rhogar said he had another way. Probably that vanish and reappear trick he does. But those blade-shaped patches of pitch darkness next to the doorway and that glowing gem are probably a fight waiting to happen. Whoever goes with him better be ready for that fight." Chill says, a bit disappointed that Kroms spell didn't work.
"I had indeed, Chill, that I did. Though... Hmn..." Rhogar squints at the barrier and then looks along the floor near it search for any sigils or runes that might clue him into the magic or spell at work. (Arcana: 22) Though, even if nothing came to mind in the end, the dragonborn yet let out a chuckle.
"In hindsight, I should've expected as much out of such a field of protection. The creators of these cities were the grandest of fools, but they were not idiots by any measure. Even my own magic might not work as intended in circumventing this barrier, but we won't know until we try."He finally turns to regard the others, and holds out a hand to Krom. "If you would not mind taking my hand, Krom. As for the rest, stand back at least fifteen feet from us, as the space we'll leave will be accompanied by a thunderous force."With the warning given, Rhogar waits until the others have complied before teleporting to opposite side of the barrier's northern side with Krom.

"Of course, Rhogar," Krom replies, nodding to the dragonborn as he grasps his hand. If the spell works, the dwarf carefully makes his way towards the double doors, taking care not to get too close to the blade-shaped patches of darkness. Placing both hands firmly against the stone wall, Krom begins chanting a hymn of transmutation willing the rock to yield open a passage for the group.
Kazri looks at Chill, and starts to step back per Rhogar's direction.

Rhogar inspects the floor but sees no signs or markings to indicate how the wall of force is maintained. With Chill and Kazri moving safely out of the way Rhogar casts his spell and he and Krom appear on the north side of the dome.
Krom then makes his way around the dome and towards the double doors but as he gets within 30 feet of the two blades they suddenly move forward and attack!
Krom raises his shield to block the oncoming strike, but the dark blade proves too swift, cutting past his defense. "Stay out of their reach, Rhogar!" the dwarf shouts in pain. Without wasting another heartbeat, Krom pulls open his belt pouch and scatters the miniatures of the Fellowship across the ground. "I was saving this for later, but if we don’t cut those blades down now, there won’t be a later!" he growls. Chanting a hymn of transmutation in a voice that rumbles like stone, he pours life into the tiny metal figures. At once, the miniatures spring to motion, charging the blades with furious determination.
