"Humm... More riddles. Great. Mr. Nimbatuul?" Kazri steps aside so the Dragonborn can enter the room.

Krom nods as the dragonborn corrects him "The draconic form for plurals is a bit tricky to remember for an old dwarf like me." He replies with a chuckle. The dwarf expression grows into a more serious as he addresses Rhogar's question. "Unfortunately, I haven't prepared that hymn. I didn't think we would have need of such specific blessing." Krom pauses, thoughtfully stroking his beard. "However, I do have the means of contacting one of the All-Father's servants, we could seek their guidance, but their answers are seldom straightforward." Reaching into his pack. Krom pulls out the Professor Orb and holds it up, "Or we could ask the Professor. He is an expert in all things Netherese, I'm sure that he knows the names we seek."
The dragonborn chuckled as well, before his expression too returned to something approaching seriousness alongside Krom's follow up response. And while quick to nod in understanding and agreement at the first, seeing the Professor Orb once more immediately elicits a defeated hiss from Rhogar. "... Right... The professor, then. Better to avail ourselves of a resources less taxing, even if that resource is a condescending construct. Which given what I know of the Netherese themselves, I suppose it was ever to be expected out of anything of their design."

The Professor Orb nearly snorted in disbelief at the question posed to him.
"Somehow you expect me to know the names of wizards from a civilization that ended thousands of years ago? I am intelligent, clearly more intelligent than you, but I couldn't rattle off a list of names like that. You will have to seek that information elsewhere in the city. Maybe that robot brain lady Veneranda could tell you."
Rhogar lets out a long, withering sigh, before shooting Krom a pleading look, as if asking for the dwarf to promptly stow the Orb now before it can utter another derivative remark. Once that is hopefully done, the dragonborn went on to address the group. "There we have it then. Though we may lose a fair amount of time backtracking at this point, given the circumstances and the lethality of their defenses, it may be more prudent to make the journey over solely brute force our way past every obstacle... least we find ourselves too bereft of resources when it truly matters. I... *sigh*... I for one say we backtrack, but as ever shall I defer to the rest of youl."

Krom nods to Rhogar and swiftly stows the Orb back in his backpack. "I was hoping for a different outcome" the dwarf says with a sigh, "but considering our previous interactions with the Professor, this was to be expected..." Resting a hand on the head of his warhammer, Krom continues. "I agree, Rhogar. It's wiser to backtrack and gather the knowledge we need rather than try to force those enchanted doors open. Hopefully, that construct, Veneranda, will prove more cooperative than the Professor."
Chill laughed out loud at Rhogar's clear response to the antagonizing orb. The considering the predicament he spoke. "I don't think we all need to back track. I can slip down the shaft and climb back up easily enough. I'll go speak to Veneranda and then return. Oli is down there as well so he can keep me safe."
If the party is in agreement he'll execute that plan.
Kazri was very tempted in taking out her Nature’s Grasp to smash the insolent orb to pieces. That would not be very helpful, obviously. The Paladin takes a deep breath. Then Chill offers to retrieve the information they are seeking. “Sure Chill. That sounds good to me.”

"Sounds good to me too, Chill. You're the fastest among us." Krom says as the tabaxi suggests to gather the information by his own. "We'll wait you here."
"Mn.... If you are certain, Chill, then let it be so. Gorrah will likely insist upon joining you if Olly is to accompany you as well. But all the same, do have a care, especially around those dancing projections. I still cannot be certain, but I yet suspect there may yet be more to them than meets the eyes." Rhogar says as much. "In the meantime, we shall await you near the top of the hole, just in case any of those arcane defenses somehow restore themselves during your absence."

Chill gave Gorrah a mischievous grin. "Let's go then." He said to the pseudragon. Looking to the others "We'll be back before you know it."
He'll quickly climb down the rope and head back to where Veneranda is at.
One he reaches her he'll ask for the information.
"Veneranda, we are trying to resrore the city but we need some information to proceed. Who was the leader of the School of Evocation here in the city?"
Chill heads down the rope, Gorrah flying along with. He meets up with Oli who is happy to see a familiar face. Heading back across the invisible bridge he crosses the ballroom and finds the room that Veneranda waits in. Explaining what you need assistance with she is reassured that you are working towards the goal of aiding her so she gives you the information that you seek.
"High Evoker Zadulus is the name you seek?" she answers.
As Chill heads back through the ballroom he is certain that he saw the hypnos magen that challenged them when they first approached the entrance to the spire. He is also certain that it is trying to avoid being seen but is seen by both Chill and Gorrah.
Chill noticed the construct, the one seen earlier that had told them they could not enter the spire. He played it off for the moment acting as if he had not noticed it. He waited till he and Gorrah had crossed the invisible bridge again before stopping to confer with Gorrah.
"Did you see it, the construct? I don't like that it's behind us. We didn't see it when we were all in those rooms earlier. I think we should take it out. You, me and Oli. We can handle it."
Using her tail like one would fingers, Gorrah rubs her chin thoughtfully as she sat on Chill's shoulder. Then with a mischievous glint in her eyes, she sends a series of images into Chill's mind. All of them been as cartoonish as ever, but the message conveyed is a clear agreement to Chill's sentiment! Though, if Chill read between the lines on some of the images, he'd get the sense Gorrah is more motivated by the opportunity to receive many an accolade from everyone over any other potential altruistic reasons.

"Ok, now we need a plan. If we could lure it across the bridge that would be best but I'm not sure how to do it. So I think we cross back, sneak up behind it and try and quickly and quietly take it out. Gorrah, if you fly high then you can dive bomb and sting it while I use a couple daggers and stab it . Oli can stand by and charge in if we get in trouble."
Unfortunately, Gorrah could only but give her best impression of a shrug in regards to baiting the rogue construct. But when things rope back around to getting the jump on the creature either way, she sends Chill the image of some draconic creature giving a thumbs up.
Meanwhile, Rhogar sat patiently on the ground, seeming content to wait. But then, his expression darkens a bit, before he lets out an annoyed growl. "Typical. Would it have killed her to share her senses just in case?" He quietly groused. Yet for all of his complaints, the dragonborn appeared no more ready to start clamoring down the rope after the groups wayward companions. "I hope she at least reminded him to get the names of the other tower masters just in case."
