Fortunately it seems you stopped these magma mephits before they were able to get the building to burn. Which is a good thing because you are to far into the village to find any standing or flowing water that you could move.
Chill again ranges out in front of the group and starts checking streets for more trouble or the forge. You pass a few stalls in an empty marketplace that have burned down, smoke rises from the burned stalls. Eventually though you find the forge. Hanging from the eves in the front are a few shards of ice.
As you approach you can see smoke filled with strange blue and crimson sparks billows from the smokestack of the furnace at the back of the smithy. Suddenly a funneling cloud of whirling air with a vague semblance of a face floats up out of the smoke stack and looking around it sees you and heads your way.
4 of the shards of ice fall off the eves and you see they resemble the magma mephits but seem to be made of ice.
and you also realize that behind you 3 gray smoke looking mephits approach from the rear.

Chill, with an uncanny ability, dodges the slam from the air elemental (Reaction - Uncanny Dodge for half damage.) The hairs on his neck stand as the creatures try an surround him and he glances around for a way out. He then cunningly disengages from the foes that have gathered near him (BA - Cunning Action) by tucking into a ball and throwing himself backwards towards the rest of the group. Landing lightly on his feet he quickly moves 30 feet towards the rest of the Fellowship.
"Yeah, sorry, bad things coming!" he calls as he moves past.
He then spins around and raising his crossbow he sends a bolt flying at the air elemental.

It is not unlikely that they too might yet explode upon destruction! So be wary, and try to alternate between slaying one and at that mini-mealstrom whenever you can. As Vixix as my witness, I will mend what I can." He punctuates his point by slamming the butt of his staff into the snow, causing a blue electricity to ripple across in a wave.
As the wave hits Rekuberk, Chill, and Kazri, all three alongside of the Bronze find senses sharpened, and resolve reinforced by a familiar but unseen force. After which, Rhogar backs off a short distance, remember the break attack of magma one's from last. And while Kazri's presence was comforting, compounding injuries unnecessarily remained a concern.

Rekuberk draws his Greatsword and then mutters "Vlam" letting the blade begin to glow with flames before he then takes two swings at the Mephit that is directly in front of him.
"More elementals! Since it looks like that we are outnumbered, let's try to even the odds." says Krom while moving towards the Smoke Mephits chanting an hymn of conjuration (Spirit Guardians. As the dwarf finishes his invocation, several shimmering dwarves wielding mauls and great axes steps out from one of the pool of magma near the group. The newly arrived group of dwarves takes a defensive position around the group and proceed to attack all the elemental creatures within the range of their radiant weapons.
Movement: 5ft on my left in order to have all the Smoke Mephits within 15ft from me
Action: Spirit Guardians9 radiant damage Wis 14 save for half - all the movement within 15ft from Krom is halved (all group members are not affected by the spell)
Chip would turn and quickly strum a few light chords on his lute before casting fly on Rek. "Go after them big guy." Chip would shout with a smile as the half orc seemingly begins to hover just a bit above the ground.

As Chill deftly dodges and ducks and launches himself out of the melee Kazri rushes forward and engages the Air Elemental. Her first swing seems to pass through its mist but the second definitely connects with its ethereal form. As she hits a blaze of light flashes as she smites it.
Rekuburk, emboldened with the blessing of Vixix strikes out at the smoke mephits. He is certain that the strikes hit true and he slays one of them but he feels the flame of his sword did little to add to the damage given.
Shimmering hammers and axes suddenly spring around Krom and attack the hostile creatures as they come into range.

The air elemental is unable to slam Kazri as she stands her ground and only feels a stiff wind that blows her hair back. The ice mephits are also are only able to scrape their claws on her armor as one just barely is able to leave a mark on her arm and the injury is so slight she doesn't even notice it.
Rekuburk receives a small slash across his cheek from the smoke mephit but the ash that the other blows is caught up in some wind and quickly dissipates.

Like a fork to spaghetti, Rhogar stirs the staff in the air, conducting strands of the weave into a new formation. Once more a couple of blasts of energy cut through the air, and slam into mephit form with raw, magical 'force'.

Chill, seeing the house to the NW makes his way in that direction. With Feline Agility he reaches the edge of the building. He then fires a shot at the Air Elemental and then with a Cunning Action he ducks behind the corner of the building.
