Krom can tell that the forge is certainly more stable than it was moments before.
"Oh yes, yes indeed!" Griggle answers, elated and excited. The Black Spider has solved my problems. This should solve it all! Thank you, thank you. Here take these in thanks for delivering that letter."
He grabs and hands Krom three bars of solid adamantine
"As a personal thanks. I'm no blacksmith, but maybe you’ll find some use for them elsewhere in your journeys."
He then returns to his work and does his best to ignore any further interruptions from you.
Kazri approaches Krom and whispers next to him. “Are you sure Mr. Duskloch won’t cause any further issues for the town?”

Krom puts in his pack the three bars of the precious metals and whispers back to Kazri "I am not sure, lass, the forge seems more stable, but I will try to talk to him to maybe relocate somewhere else."
The dwarf walks next to the duergar and stays silent for a while as Griggle starts to work again, "The forge may be stable now, but the villagers may not forget you for all the damages your research has caused to their homes. For a duergar, you seem to be guy that thinks about the welfare of the other beings of Faerun, instead of personal gain, so if your work is indeed for the benefits of all people of Faerun, you should agree with me that your research has to continue in a place where it can not cause collateral damages. " (Persuasion16Guidance1 )
Griggles shoulders drop as Krom speaks to him. He was obviously listening even when it looked like he was ignoring Krom.
"You are right. The people here will no accept me, I have caused damage. I will leave. Maybe Aurilssbarg. That island would be safer. Help me move the forge to Aurilssbarg? At least help me get the forge to a ship that will leave harbor soon?"
Rekuberk watches the Duergar with a raised brow but eventually returns the Greatsword to his back, finding him more eccentric then actually dangerous with all things said and done.
"The only ship docked in the port is The Icebreaker, maybe the Captain will not object to have another passenger." says Krom " As Chip just said, we can help you move the forge. If I were in you I would donate a good amount of gold to the people of Fireshear so that they will be able to rebuild."
“That is very charitable of you Master Krom. That would be the right thing to do for the town.” Kazri starts to help any way she can with the move.

You begin dismantling the forge. You find that Griggle's set up is very simple and his tools fit in one large chest and the rest of his supplies fit in another. A couple hours later you make way back to the docks.
Kalannai Grayfur greets you once more "I am proud you survived the chaos in the eastern neighborhoods. The chaos has certainly subsided, thank you for your bravery." You recount to her what you encountered.
Then, a shadow passes over her face. She says that a number of the townsfolk think that Griggle is to blame for the chaos in town, and want to exile him into the wastes. Seeing that he is with you she asks grimly if Griggle is truly responsible.
"We have convinced Griggle to relocate his forge to a new location... one that is much farther away from town." Chip would reply. "The townspeople can rest easy knowing that the white cloaks have taken care of the elemental threat and that they will no longer be returning to cause problems in the future." The brass scaled dragonborn would add with a grin.. makin sure not to come right out and say it was griggle...
Krom looks straight to Griggle and then says to Kalannai "About what happened,Griggle has something to say and something to give you. Right Griggle?"
The dwarf will wait a few moments for the duergar to admit that his experiments were the indirect cause of the problem. If the duergar does not say anything, Krom will inform Kalannai that duergar's experiments caused the elemental problem, but that Griggle did not do that on purpose.
"Aye, it seems my experiments have caused some problems. These good folks delivered some information that likely solved it, but I get that the townspeople are upset. I'll be leaving town and taking up somewhere else. No need to drive me out of town I'm leaving on my own. I got about 50 gold to help those affected, all I got to spare I hope it helps make amends."
Kalannai Grayfu continues to give him a dark look but accepts the gold from him.
"Best you leave, I agree. I'll keep the people from driving you into the wasteland. Take the ship, don't come back."
She offers Krom another small purse of money.
"The 25 gold as promised for clearing out the mephits."
"Alls well that ends well, I suppose." Rhogar said, sounding somewhat unconvinced over his own words. However, the Bronze is soon grinning to the others and says, "Not too bad a foray for our first time so far north, eh?" He chuckled. "Let's get those things onto the ship, and speak with the captain 'fore he takes off. For I doubt our other business has concluded itself so easily." From the Rhogar's shoulder, an eagerly nodding Gorrah sends the simplified image of Sister Gaerele (Graelle... grail?) to the rest of the party.

Kalannai Grayfu looks up at Rhogar's comment. "Other business? Your matching cloaks and obvious skill clearly show you as adventurers. Would your other business be up in Ten-Towns? We have heard many rumors that strange things are going on there, that the winter is worse than normal and odd things are happening. Is that your other business?"
Kazri looks at Kalannai with a surprised look. “Ms. Grayfur. I believe that might be our mission indeed. Can you tells us all that you know for that is probably our destination.”

Krom nods in approval as Griggle tells the truth to Kalannai and gives her some gold. "This duergar may be a bit different from the others..." thinks the dwarf.
The dwarf takes the 25 gold and splits it in equal parts for each party member.
As Kalannai hints at strange rumors and odds things are happening in the North, the dwarf is about to say something, but since Kazri already asked her a question, Krom just nods to her and waits for further information.
(OOC: So this might be a weird time to ask this.. but the 10g that Chip and Rek got for delivering the package before.. was that supposed to go back to the captain? I didn't add it to our character sheet because I didn't think it was for us.)
