Ink takes aim at the rider, now fifty feet away and within line of sight (Dark vision extends to sixty feet), with a fire bolt!

The wight that Ink was chasing offers one last casting of toll the dead (Ink must make a DC 13 Wisdom Saving Throw or take 20 necrotic damage) before painfully turning around in his saddle, holding his gut, and riding at speed into the dense forestation to the north of Noanar's Hold, within shouting distance of the Keep.

Meanwhile, the wight that was fighting Rip and Flint is taking flight, cursing in some foul tongue. The skeletal horse that resisted Flint's influence continues to try and batter the dwarf with his massive hooves.

... the sound of the bells envelops him, and, for a moment, Ink feels inspired and tries to shake off the wight's affront yet again.... // WIS Save 20 // .......
Ink shakes off the tolling of the dead, and pushes forward into the forest, seeing the wight and its steed up ahead, ducking between the trunks of the trees, Ink shouts out loud, "YOU CAN'T HIDE FROM THIS!"
Ink raises his scimitar and the ruby affixed to it pulses a slight red as the arcane energy leaves Ink's body into the blade... from the blade's tip a faint red point of light shoots forth at a dizzying pace until it impacts the tree behind which the wight is gaining cover from blooming into a massive fireball!
