Ang realises that she is completly visible to the hunting party, but notices that some of her companions are well hidden. "This will give us an advantage if things turn sour" she thinks. With one hand at the ready to draw her crossbow, she steps out of the shadows but leaves a large distance between her and the golden grung. She nods her head, recognising the higher rank of the other grung and continues in Grung:
"Honored leader, I know the tradition. Losing a battle is a dishonnor but some of our young green grungs have been left behind and they do not need to be punished (truth). I take repsonsability of a poor strategy. Let me find the the green ones and brings them back to the tribe, then do whatever you want to do with me (lie)."
She leaves some time to the Golden grung to appreciate her words and continues: "And yes, we are indeed with those disgusting outsiders, we have just met them. We are using them for now as we have noticed they could be useful, we'll get rid of them after (lie)."
She waits a few second and adds: "They are powerfull spellcasters, honored leader. Do not underestimate them (unsure)."

Seeing that the new comers are Grung, and that things are not hostile at the outset but noting that things could turn ugly, he will edge slowly toward cover, most likely the nearest tree. He also sends Omen off to circle around the campsite just in case there might be others seeking to flank the group, asking the familiar to report any signs of movement that he sees.
Stealth: 17 Perception: 14 => If this keeps up Saros might be finding himself a new familiar.....
OOC: Did either Omen or Clairvoyance give any indication that the group was split?
Khan was not taking any chances. The moment she came to realize that her rival's had already caught up to them, slimy hands swiftly found the slingshot and made ready to loose a blunt one for the greens. Kinsman or not, she had come too far and made enough concessions with the foreigners as-is to see her name clear. And noone -- not even one yet higher on the rung would stop her.
Though as the only slightly discomforting thought settled into mind, she found herself praying to Nangnang for Ang's words to reach the hunters... prior to the bullet at hand making a home in one's skull.

Of course, it had to be another hunting party. Bleep thought to himself as he trains his crossbow on one of the red grungs in the likely situation they come to blows.
The golden grung responds in its native language (@Grungs & @Ghee):
"Very well. I will allow you to seek the lost ones for another day. We'll be close behind to verify your success, or make you pay upon failure."
"That said, this alliance with outsiders is absolutely despicable and unacceptable. Cease doing so now. We must kill them where they stand. My hunting party shall assist you in killing them, so that you may return to your task of tracking your lost ones. This is not a bargain, but an order from your superior. I will show my good faith by giving you the honor of the first shot. We'll all pounce on them after your signal. Do it!"
Those of you who remain hidden (Khan and Bleep) stay at the ready. The closest grung (a red one) is 35 feet away from Bleep and 60 feet away from Khan. A green grung stands next to it (+5 feet).
Ghee is still prone. Ang, Darrik, and Saros count 8 visiting grungs. Tensions are high, but at least a fight has not broken out.
(@MuggsHill: Yep, two groups, though they are not far from each other. They approached the campsite from the west and northwest directions. Omen is circling around to a position just south of the campsite.)
Listening to the orders handed down, Ghee can't help but feel a dislike of these new Grung. He makes ready a kick should any of them come within range. Doubling down on his current predicament and in an attempt to draw a Grung towards him, he squirms a little, setting the leaves of the bush rustling and calls out, "Stop with yer burbling and help a dwarf oot of a bush! I've likely a wee bit more drink to share and my gratitude would be GIN-uine!"

In a matter of a few second, Ang weights every options. Side with the two newcommers is something quite unatural but they seem trustworthy to her and look like a great addition to the group. On the other hand, she knows the common Grung sense would be to follow the golden grung's orders, but this won't help her ultimate goal. These ones are here for retribution only and won't help her find the lost green ones.
A few more second pass. Ang looks at Saros, grabs her light crossbow and says in Grung "You convinced me, Honored leader...This is the only way". She suddently moves the crossbow in the direction of the golden grung and releases the bolt.
Crossbow: 14 (OOC I rolled with advantage, in case you give me the surprise due to my high deception) damage: 10 (+13 sneak attack if advantage)
Ang sees that the attack made the Golden Grung turn towards her, leaving him open to side-attacks. She then shouts in Common"Bleep, now. Left side open"(Bonus Action to give Bleep advantage)
Khan took a moment to weight the golden one's words, and found them wanting to say the least. Even an alliance was outside the norm, tradition would've dictated a far less lethal approach. 'Unless...' She thought, eyes narrowing in suspicion. Before anything could truly be sorted, Ang makes her move, leaving the Orange almost surprised in the heat of the moment. Khan was no 'lesser' Grung. The bullet once loaded would not slack so easily without being fired or willfully set aside.
Unfortunately for the green, the former was yet far more easier for her...

Facing an impossible choice, Ang does the unspeakable and shoots the golden grung! The bolt travels through the air and pierces the noble one's arm. (Gold Grung takes 21 piercing damage.)
Hidden, both Khan and Bleep join the revolt. Bleep hits a red grung's leg, while Khan hits a green one's hip (Red Grung #2 takes 23 piercing damage; Green Grung #1 takes 5 bludgeoning damage.)
The red grungs release their prepared spells, which OGA recognizes as being Barkskin.
NOTES: Variant "Hitting Cover" rule applies (This is just a reminder. I may stop posting this note in future encounters but the rule will still apply.)
Seeing as none of the other Grung are coming to him, Ghee decides to take the mountain to them. Reducing the number of Grung that are seeking to kill him seems a pretty shrewd move.
Lightly shifting his weight the dwarf somehow tips his frame almost effortlessly from the bush in which it currently rests. The dwarf is seemingly unable to arrest his momentum however as he is then stumbling his way through the jungle, arriving at B,12 and inserting himself between the red and green Grungs.
(OOC Spending 5ft of movement to stand, thanks leap to your feet sub-class feature, then using the remaining 35ft to get into the Grungs.)
In an attempt to slow himself, the dwarf decides to use the shaft of his spear like a brace, only for a misjudgement to leave it in the belly of the red Grung!
Attack: 17 Damage: 8
Apologising for his 'mistake', Ghee busies himself smoothing down the red Grung with a number of rough, open handed pats to a number of pressure points across its back and shoulders.
(OOC Spending a ki point for flurry of blows and using Ghee's second attack here, but am not using the disengage feature.)

Ghee stumbles into action, stabbing and slapping one of the red grungs while others wonder if the whole maneuver was intended or accidental. Unfortunately for the dwarf, the weapon and unarmed attacks all felt like he was hitting the trunk of a mature tree. The red grung's rough and bark-like skin looks no worse for wear.
-> Ghee's CON saving throw {DC 12}: 14
The repeated patting of the frog creature causes Ghee's hands to feel a bit weird, though the feeling passes rather quickly.
The blue grung is the farthest away from the party, only peeking into the campsite from behind its golden master. The creature holds on to an incredibly large amount of equipment, clearly being used as the packing mule for this rival hunting party. It grabs a small container of water, moistens a leaf, and carefully caresses its leader's back to ensure he is at his best for the fight.
The blue grung also moves forward a bit {H-12}, providing its master with almost complete cover by its many packs, and crates, and satchels, and cages. The gold grung then peaks just enough to release an arrow toward the betrayer grung:
Saros reaches into his component pouch as the melee begins and pulls out a tiny vial of phosphorescent liquid and giving it a quick shake, together with a few deft finger gestures, then pulls the stoppers, steps out a little from his cover and flings the liquid out toward the group with the golden grung (I would be happy to target some of the other group but I think they are just far enough apart to not be able to target both groups), the phosphor transforming into wondrous sparkling motes as it engulfs the 30ft cube area around them Hypnotic Pattern, DC 15 Wisdom save required, and having foreseen this moment the gold grung rolls an 8 (portent die) for its saving throw (the rest can have the same if portent extends to multiple creatures impacted by the same spell, but I assume portent only allows for one creature, so it will be the leader) and it, and hopefully the other three are mesmerised by the display.
As the spell takes effect, he will take stock of the impact and calls out in common to the others "Focus your attacks on the group Ghee is attacking" and he will finish his turn by ducking back in behind the tree for cover.

Ang decides to help Darrik and describes exactly where the grungs in the North position are, in Dwarvish. "Darrik ! Two greens, there and there. You see the red one ? There's a Purple just behind the Palm tree !" She then loads her crossbow and shoot the Red Grung. Crossbow: 12 damage 10
Ang then runs North and try to get some cover in the trees (B24)
OOC: Not entirely sure, but if Ghee's is in melee with the Red then sneak Attack : +15
Darrik looks around, faintly bewildered, then accidentally drops his dwarf incense in the fire. He stares at it mournfully for a few seconds, then begins to tremble in anger.
