Name: Straedanfi
Race: Half-Orc
Class: Fighter
Backstory: Straedanfi is a soldier with the Imperial Army. He grew up believing that the Imperial Army was always right and could do no wrong. But, after witnessing a variety of battles and the interrogation of several warriors of the Torken Tribe, he is having his doubts about the role of the Imperials in The Wilderness.
His father, an orc, was also a member of the Imperial Army. He chose to join the army based upon his father’s experience, although his father never journeyed to The Wilderness. His father began training him in combat almost as soon as Straedanfi could walk.
In his first battle after his arrival in The Wilderness, Straedanfi witnessed the deaths of his two closest friends in the army. That began his transition to viewing the campaign waged by the Imperials in The Wilderness as a lost cause.
Race/Class - Dragonborn / Cleric (MC into Rogue at lvl 2)
Backstory - When Quint was a young child, his family was on a voyage by ship when a terrible storm drove their ship into the reefs. Everyone but Quint drowned in the shipwreck, and his future looked grim on the rocky reef in the ocean. A passing ship rescued Quint, and he was adopted into a storm worshiping pirate clan named the Wavechasers. Quint was raised by the clan's head priest, and was taught to preach and worship the glory of destructive weather, along with more unsavory arts of pirate life. Quint spent the next decade living with the clan on their home island and learning from his adoptive father Verrik. When he was 18, Quint was sent on his first raid as the weather priest of the Wavedeath. What he thought was going to be a "harmless" plunder run instead turned out to be a full on **** and pillage of a coastal village. Quint quickly realized that he didn't have the stomach for his adoptive families brutal brand of piracy. While his fellow pirates were tearing the village apart, Quint fled inland, ashamed of both what the pirates had done, and that he couldn't bring himself to participate. Quint has been wandering the countryside ever since, earning a meager living bringing rain and storms to desperate villages, and working as a mercenary for hire.
Experience with D&D - I've been playing 3.5e for about 15 years, and recently switched to 5e. I've DMed a few campaigns, so I have a pretty solid grasp of the rules, but I've only ever been a DM in 5e, never a player (until now hopefully!)

Hi Plum,
The setting you've created seems ripe for intrigue and lots of role-playing. It sounds like a lot of fun. Definitely interested.
Name: Ralnor Dornlake
Race: Wood Elf
Class: Rogue
Abilities: Ability scores: 161510121513
Backstory:
Ralnor grew up in a small elven community in the south-eastern woodlands. They were called the Nizari and had practiced the arts and science of stealth, combat, and alchemy for centuries. They were a combination of assassin and ninja and Ralnor has been raised to believe the Nizari elders only agreed to take on requests that served the greater good of the world. Sometimes it was necessary to use violence to bring peace. But as Ralnor grew more mature and was brought further and further into the inner teachings of the Nizari, he noticed that more often than not their only employer was the Pakora Tribe and far from being agents of universal justice, they were merely hired killers to extend the Pakora's power.
Ralnor confronted his father, Carric Dornlake, a senior member of the Nizari, and demanded they severe ties with the Pakora. His father agreed to bring it up with the high council. However, that very night, killers came for Ralnor to silence him. He barely escaped, leaping off a towering waterfall, narrowly avoiding death in the rocks below, and floating down river.
Ralnor is now on the run from his own community. His father may be dead because of him, but he also can't shake the notion that it was his father who ordered the assassination.
Now, with one eye constantly looking over his shoulder, Ralnor is making his way in the world until he's strong enough to challenge the Nizari elders.

Name: Anivar Durosin Race: High Elf Class: Druid Backstory:
Anivar grew up among the Morka Tribe as an orphan, her parents killed in a freak storm that ravaged the tribe's homeland for seven nights and days before vanishing abruptly when she was in her mid-40s. Ever since the storm, her dreams always featured a storm of some sort, whether it a be a howling gale on the open sea, a calm rainstorm drizzling over a farmer's fields, or a silent sandstorm making it's way across a desert. She eventually went to the elders of her tribe about the dreams, who directed her to a secluded grove far from the Morka homelands, where she would be able to either tame these dreams and live a happy life, or continue to be reminded of the incident that robbed her and many others of their parents but use the dreams to fuel magic that could ease the pains of others, those of who a majority had chosen to temporarily leave the tribe for this grove to tame their dreams and live a normal life. Anivar at first decided to calm her dreams, but after an assault team from the Stormers attacked the grove, she chose the other path offered to her, and began learning the druidic magic the caretakers offered to use her dreams to ease the pain of others. She eventually left the grove and is now wandering the Wilderness, helping people she comes across.

Hello, folks. I have read the current applications and I have selected two players to join the campaign.
Keep in mind that this is a very difficult decision each time, and it is unfortunate I can't have all of the applicants join. Until next time,
