herman reaches an out stretched hand to the dead man. his eyes flash sinister and green as dark energy swirls chaotically from his hand into the corpse.
Cenny shivers as he looks around around. He approaches his companions.
"I feel absence of the wild. Allow me to bring the wild here. There seems to be danger afoot. I will still be able to understand what you say and I will be able to hear and smell better for any danger."
Cenny wildshapes in a Dire Wolf you notice while his fur is now pitch black his eyes remain the golden color that Cenny's human form is.
Cenny the wolfs trots over and sits next to Herman.
Herman notices that his necrotic spell seemed to be much easier to cast in this realm. Perhaps with a bit more study he can amplify his necromancy spells. The bartender shuffles out of his chair and begins pouring two globs of beer.
The other people in the room still remain in their previous places.
The man looks to Tiriel and says "Well you are fast out of luck then. It is never cheery and always dreary on the water." He takes his skeletal hand and reaches into his pocket to pull out a piece of paper. He slides it under his glass and stands up from the bar stool. He says "Well I best be on my way. Fancy ya lata' stranger." And with a nod of his head he exits the Sunken Skeleton.
Tiriel tucks the paper into a pocket around his belt, takes another swig and makes his way back to the others at the bar. " Well we have that appointment to make tonight. I wonder what time it is now?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
1. The bartender lying in his chair appearing as if he is dead. 2. A gray skinned man at the bar, drinking an ale with a skeleton hand. 3. A thin, dark skinned male elf taking a knife and stabbing it at the gaps between his fingers whilst counting subtly. 4. A female creature... Serious thoughts question if she is actually a zombie. Her shoulder bones appear to be protruding from her skin. 5. A unknown gendered figure sitting in the corner. The poor lighting and the dark robe covering the entire body makes it hard to discern any information.
Tolstoy activates his darkvision in order to get a closer look at the unknown figure in the corner.
Tolstoy looks and sees that the figure has wrapped themselves in some sort of bandage covering on any exposed piece of skin. This figure is humanoid in shape, but the details of their body have been hidden from appearance.
The bartender shuffles in his chair "Unique... Work... time... Need to sleep. Why can't... sleep...." The bartender seems to repeat these phrases again.
“sit tight Francis, someone looks like they could use some company.”
Herman downs the last of his beverage and leaves his new zombie friend at the bar. the old man hobbles across the room taking a seat close to the boney shouldered women and smiles
”hello miss, Whats a lady like you doing in a place like this?”
The woman is curled up into a ball under the table. She is mumbling. Upon hearing Herman's voice she looks up at him and says "What am I... Where am I?" She uncurls from the ball and gets up into a chair. She turns to Herman and says "I can't remember anything. What is this place?"
Tolstoy pats his claw on Tiriel's back as he makes his way to Herman. "Old enemies now...allies, I suppose?"
The Tortle puts his deck of cards out on the table again. "Care for a game, lady? Do you think this will be black or red?" he asks, motioning towards the top card.
Herman speaks to the man but upon closer inspection, Herman is able to tell he is dead.

animate dead
the corpse twitches grotesquely before its eyes dart open, now black and lifeless.

Tiriel grabs the mug from the bar and tosses the barkeep a coin as he approaches the skeletal man that gave him a thumbs up.
" What do you do around town? I'm in Gloomwrought for A cheery cruise in the night."
The man looks to Tiriel and says "Well you are fast out of luck then. It is never cheery and always dreary on the water." " Damn shame, about that then." Tiriel says as he tries to slide out and read the paper.
Unfolding the piece of paper, it reveals a map of the city with a path drawn towards a particular dock.
There is only one more word written on page "Tonight"
Tiriel tucks the paper into a pocket around his belt, takes another swig and makes his way back to the others at the bar. " Well we have that appointment to make tonight. I wonder what time it is now?"
The bartender says "Time... Always time.... 7 evening is the time."
This would mean the group would have about two hours until what normally would be considered "night".
Tiriel takes looks around at the other adventurers that came through. Is it just the players? " Any of you interested in a tournament arc?"
There is still the girl under the table. The figure in the corner and the bartender.
You can always go early to the docks.

" Anything unique to do in town?" Tiriel once again petitions the bartender.

Tolstoy pats Cenny the dire wolf on the head.
Cenny pushes his head up enjoying the patting.
He stands back up on all fours now intently watching the woman.
Watching her with those golden eyes...
Watching her throat and being ready to strike if she seeks to harm his companions...
The woman grows a smile and says "Game? I haven't played a game in so long.... Ohhh I guess Red!"
