Finding little need for anything more than the bear necessities, Bob deigns to hibernate in the dreary, rainy gloom rather than wander the streets in search of goods. When Urwin approaches he spreads his arms and smiles amicably. "Please, sit. I daresay such a simple task would be well worth that reward, not t' mention helpin' our generous host."
"I would welcome the distraction from this dreary weather," says Gimble, "and indeed doing a service for our host would be an excellent idea." Perking up when hearing some of the other discussion, he adds, "Though I would be interested in learning more about this 'Mad Mage' as well."

Can she pay with gems and convert any remaining cost of the gems into gold?
And could she find a leather-worker to add a few vial-loops to her belt, for easy access? How much might that cost?
(She decants one of the flasks of holy water out, into four of the vials, and keeps the empty flask in her pack).
She also shares the scrolls she’s holding with the party. She has 1x bless, 1x cure wounds, and 1x protection from evil and good. She can cast them all, from the scrolls, so is happy to hold onto them, but if anyoneelse can cast them and wants to hold one, she’s happy to share them out. Or if Gimble can scribe any of them she’s happy to hand those to him (I think they need to be on your class spell list though I think).
When the offer of work is made, Gillain jumps at the chance. “We would be happy to help! We’ll check your deliveries in no time”.
(Protection from Evil and Good is on the Wizard spell list and Gimble does not have it yet, so when we have time he would like to try and copy it to his spellbook).

"That is just perfect," Urwin tells you. "All you have to do is take the Old Svalick Road to the west and follow it for a few miles, it will take you right to the vineyard and winery." Urwin pauses for a moment, letting the party respond then says: "Ya might want to wait till morning to take the trip. I wouldn't want you to be out there at night and run into wolves and the like." If nothing else is said or asked, Urwin will go about his business, smiling and nodding at the party occasionally.
Tio declines the offer of a bed and the cot saying that she doesn’t need sleep but meditation. During the two days of down time; Tio purchases a se of of Fine Clothes native to the town, a pearl white viol with a black case, and a set of cooking utensils.
Hearing the opportunity arises Tio nods in agreement with her friends “I agree it shouldn't be much of a problem,it a opportunity to hone our skills and helping people in the procees is good too...”
Over the course of the two days, Ban is as restless as one might expect. She'd have complained a few times of how boring it is with naught to do. During the times that Rictavio is present, she'll listen in and take interest. Upon hearing word of a wizard, the eladrin will pose the option of looking into the matter as a way of leaving this place.
As Urwin broached the subject of looking into the wine, she heartily agrees; mentioning moving products and goods something of a specialty. "Aye, in the morning then. Can't wait to get out and explore some."
Of all the profitable items the group has obtained, Ban has taken just one gem, daggers, and the silvered short sword. Fencing the jewel for just a couple daggers, she's content. After all, financial gain isn't something she puts much stock into.
The day and evening pass with little fanfare, though the rain comes and goes in brief showers. Inside the Blue Water Inn, the party listens to conversations among the patrons, only catching sentences here and there. "I hear they say him near the Buregermeister's home last evenin'" "He ain't been here in years." "Bluto said he almost caught a big one yesterday." "Was he drunk when he said that?" a big laugh follows this question.
The party sleeps and wakes the next morning. As you dress and prepare to leave Urwin is up to see you off. ""Much luck to you all"he says as he waves as the party steps out.
The first thing to meet the party as they step out is the Mist. It is a damp cold vapor that permeates everywhere around you, obscuring vision at 50 feet. Undaunted the party moves on and within 15 minutes you find yourselves outside the gates of Vallaki. The guards sat little outside a grunt. It seems someone may have said something about the party because they seem to take little interest in your passing. The party takes the road going west, as Urwin instructed. You travel at a slow pace, having to walk, and the everpresent Mist and the thick dark forest along the sides of the road obscure your vision to 50 ft ahead and behind you. The dampness from the mist clings to your clothing and armor, though it hasn't soaked through just yet. You travel for over a mile when you come upon the following:
The road comes to an X intersection, which branches to the northwest, northeast, southwest, and southeast. The lower half of a snapped wooden signpost thrust upward at an angle near the eastern elbow of the intersection. The top half of the sign, featuring arms pointing in four directions, lies in the weeds nearby. Suddenly a howl erupts from the nearby woods to the right of the road. "shadowy" figures rush out of the woods and encircle the party. Wolves! 4 smaller wolves, the size of a bigger dog along with 2 much larger wolves, almost as large as a small pony. The 4 smaller ones are gray wolves with spots of missing fur along their bodies. The skin underneath is raised, red, and has a scaly look to it. One wolf, a large one who positions itself in front of the party is black, like the black of a moonless night. The second large wolf takes a position behind the party and has a white-gray color. The 4 smaller wolves take positions at the sides of the party, 2 to each side, and move slowly around you. They lower their heads, their ears flair back and they bare their teeth as they growl.
