"Perfect! You all seem just right for this job," Dannicka says excitedly. You notice she begins speaking faster: "So, what do you know about chwingas? They're these tiny little elemental spirits, and they're known to have the ability to alter the environment immediately around them. I bet that if you were able to wrangle one of them and bring it back to me, preferably alive and unharmed, we could learn something about all this weird weather stuff that's been going on. I've been looking all over town here, and I haven't found any, but I'm certain that some live somewhere in Ten-Towns."
"Little spirits?" Rock says with a nod of his head. "Rock will find you this thing and bring back." He gives another nod, then his normal boisterous demeaner returns as he nods to the others. "For now we go, must speak with giant white wolves and rescue children." He smiles broadly. "Let us go do this thing. Rock and his air-sick lowlander friends."
“So you plan to kidnap a chwinga thing and turn it over to that random woman while trying to free two kidnapped siblings? Are these chwinga intelligent? Powerful? Vengeful? What if she plans to enslave it, or torture it... or eat it?” Shayne worries aloud.
“Dannika the Cannibal, chewer of chwinga and enslaver of spirits..” he sings softly, trying to put it to a basic tune. Shayne then noticed he’s been lagging behind and hurried to catch up to the group...
Ines falls in step with Shayne. Ignoring that he is most likely talking to himself, she says "You bring up a good point. I wouldn't want to be responsible for any creature - spirit or otherwise - to become a prisoner. If we find one perhaps we can talk to it?"

“If they can talk,” Shayne says. “Though I suspect if they were intelligent and reasonable she wouldn’t have needed ask us.”
“I suppose we should have asked her a few more questions,” Shayne continues with a shrug. “What they look like, where to find them, do they bite, how much coin for one delivered to your doorstep. But really, it’s the big guy’s show. I’m just tagging along to record the events for history... or alter the events in the retelling yo make them worthy of recording.”
“Truthfully, not much else to do in this town anyway... why you in this frozen armpit of a town?”
"Rock seems eager to get started. I can barely keep up,"Ines admits. "I am sure whatever happens will be worthy of recording unless it's us becoming frozen wolf treats and I'm here because I had no idea what was up this far north."

As he reaches the outskirts, Lester hears the Goliath call out a warning but he does not respond and continues to trail the group at a safe distance. With reports of winter wolves prowling the area, Lester is not very concerned about any other wildlife which would have most likely already become food for the wolves. Nevertheless, he does begin to pay closer attention to his surroundings just in case.
"Ma'am, I certainly do not intend to keep the chwingas as prisoners. Nor do I intend to perform any experiment that is harmful or invasive in nature without the creature's consent. As for eating it, I doubt they're even large enough to be a snack, and I'd much rather my food be dead before I come into contact with it."
"To call this town an armpit is to imply there is another just as bad. But I've been all over this town looking for chwingas, and my lantern and I have come up empty." She holds up a lantern that seems to illuminate about a thirty-foot radius from its location. "If they were here, I'd know. This is a magical lantern. If a chwinga was within 300 feet of it, it would turn bright green.
"Whatever chwingas are in Ten-Towns, they would have to be somewhere else. I'd continue the search myself, but to be honest, I'm terrified of this cold and I have other research chores to address. Should you agree, I can offer this lantern and 15 gold pieces. Do we have a deal?"
“Yes we have a deal for this thing. “Rock says with a another knot of his head. “Definitely no hurting elemental spirits. But rock will keep an eye out for them as we move elsewhere. “He would let someone else take the lantern though, if no one else wants to he would do so though.
((Ah! I thought we had already left Dannicka behind. Sorry...))
"I can carry the lantern if you wish," Shayne offers. "I am along to keep a watch on events, seems fitting I carry the light. You more adventurous types will need your hands free, no doubt."
"This good thing." Rock says, with a broad grin as Shayne takes the lantern. "We go do this wolf thing now then." He says. Glancing to the individual who had been speaking with the Speaker earlier. "Air-sick lowlander, you have name?" He taps his chest. "I am called Rock, these others have given names, what is yours?" He waves the others along with a broad hand. "Air-Sick lowlander talk as we go, no wish leave kids with wolves longer than need be."
Dannicka excitedly bounces in the air just a little bit and claps her hands before handing the lantern over to Shayne. "That's fantastic! Tell you what - this town here is a bit... unfriendly? If you find one, bring it to Bryn Shander. You'll find me there."
((With Backstabitha /Lester dropping, perhaps I could have pickpocketed his Thieve’s Tools before he departed? Other than that, about as equipped as I can afford to be.))
((Just for fun, make a sleight of hand check against his passive perception (DC 12). If that fails, we'll say that Lester suddenly fell ill and had to hitch a ride to Icewind Dale for treatment, and he gave you his tools as his way of saying goodbye.))

What kind of supplies do you need? Keep in mind that this is a very small town with limited resources, so you will not be able to find much.
