Dneevar stands up and begins to exit the tavern with the others. "I'll go pay my sister a visit quickly and pick up a few things, so I might be up to half an hour, unless you all want to come with me. I live in the heart of the South Ward a ways down the road."
Aimee giggles at Lyss's eye roll before following Trani to her room to get her things saying,
"Wow! This place is waaaaay bigger than my cell back at the temple!" She pushes on the wooden floor, "Such a soft floor too! After we find the Floon we can have a sleep over! I've never had one of those! Also I'm homeless so this works great! When I have a home you can sleep over with me!"
If she is back in time, Aimee would be right on Dneevar's heels waving Lyss along,
"It is the right direction to the Skewed Dragon, right?! Lets go meet Dnee's sister! Is she the same color as you Dnee? How does that work?"
Alden nods although he is internally shaking his head as he listens to the banter. To say the least he now knew that adventuring was going to introduce him to some interesting people. "Rights let us gather what ever you feel the need to bring and then be on our way."
Rose steps out into the warm evening air. The street is fairly busy, with a few drunkards staggering about and tourists walking around, pointing to the yawning portal and castle waterdeep towering over the city, with excitement.
It is a few minutes before her new companions step out to join her, first Alden, Dnee and Lysslin, and then Trani and Aimee - Trani looking better equipped, with a rapier at her side.
To the left, the street continues on to the thoroughfare of Snail street, a few horses and carts still travelling up and down. To the right the street ends at a t-junction, a sign just out of the higgledy buildings reading “The blushing Nymph” with a painting depicting just that.
After walking down snail street for a while, you begin to notice a change in atmosphere. Broken lamps, abandoned buildings and filthy streets give you an uneasy feeling as you realise you have crossed over i to the dock ward.
Turning onto Fillet lane, a road filled with little shops, most prominent of all, a store on the left, on the corner of another street. It has a deep purple facade, and in its window hangs a stuffed beholder. Above the door hangs a sign whose elaborate letters spell out “Old Xoblob Shop.”
Just past the street on the left the road is cordoned off. Lying on the cobblestones are a half-dozen corpses, seemingly the victims of some terrible skirmish. Watch officers have disarmed and arrested three blood-drenched humans and are in the midst of questioning witnesses.
There is also a small alley to your right hand side, almost immediately as you enter the street.
((Lyss would have taken the time after saying goodnight to Threestrings to have washed as much of her own blood off her as she could. Wandering town soaked in blood is a good way to get stopped and questioned.))
"Yeah, I think we ought to go around, follow me."
((Provided that the part cordoned off isn't where we are trying to go, Lyss will lead the group around the hubbub if they are willing and continue on our way to the Skewered Dragon.))

"I don't think that was any accident," says Dneevar. "I agree with Lyss, I think we should stay out of trouble." He suggests that they continue on Snail Road until they reach the t-intersection, then turn left towards the Way of the Dragon and go around that way.
Alden seems less impressed by the sights around them as he was used to city life from growing up in Baldur's Gate. He kept his hand close to his sword as they walked, knowing that there were going to be less then savory types along the way.
As Lyss leads everybody down the alley, the Skewered Dragon stands before them. It looks like a ruin. Both of its front-facing windows are smashed, and a ship’s anchor is lodged in the roof. Through the windows, you can see a group of haggard patrons drinking from huge tankards. Dnee recognises a familiar face among these drunkards.
Dneevar stares into the windows of the broken-down tavern. He hesitantly steps in. "Hello?" he announces himself, voice shaking. "We're looking for someone named... Floon?" He nods back to the group to make sure he got the name right. Inching closer toward the drunkards, Dneevar gulps as he recognizes a face eerily coming to his mind from his past. "Can you help us find them?"
A dark haired women sits at a table, hood pulled up as she looks around the place, seeming like she's looking for something in particular. When Dneevar approaches her, she looks to him, "Pardon?"she asks, looking disinterested, "I'm not sure what you're talking about."
"This reminds me of the places we would go to drink when off duty. If you know the right things to say then it is not so bad." Alden says as he moves to go further inside.
Besides the mysterious hooded lady that Dnee seems to recognise, the tavern is populated with haggard ruffians.
An old man with a squished in face sits in the corner, one bulging eye glaring at you suspiciously, his other eye permanently shut - his mouth seems to have collapse in on itself swallowing his lips.
Two muscled men are armwrestling, one heavily tatooed and the other with piercings all over. Both look scruffy and unwashed, with overgrown stubble and blackened teeth.
The Bartender leans on the bar in an imposing manner, an eyepatch over one eye, chewing on a toothpick. He is heavily built, his shirt half open, revealing thick hair sprouting out of his chest Surrounding a deep scar extending up to his face. He calls over to the Dragonborn “We don’t sell any o’ yer fancy deserts here - jus’ meat an’ ale. Go get yer Floon from yer fancy pants bars uptown or buy a proper drink“

"South!"
Aimee starts walking south along Snail street, turning to make sure with Lyss and Dnee if that is right.
Dneevar nods as they begin walking, watching the signposts for Fillet Lane.
Lyss lets Aimee 'lead', correcting her as needed.

Aimee walks with confidence, smiling at everyone as she does.

Aimee points at the stuffed beholder and mouths,
"Wow!"
To Lyss.
She then pauses to gawk at the bodies and arrest asking,
"We close? Never been here before, nice there are patrols here too! Terrible accident you think?"
She checks with Lyss.

"Ooooohhh! You think this was...foul play!"
She gawks harder.

Lyss confidently leads them to the Skewered Dragon, since everyone seems to have the sense not to stick their noses into a place full of dead folks.
