The Iron staff is a medium-sized shop with two yellow stained glass windows on each of the four walls. Three tables with four items each sit in the center of the room, behind the desk is an elderly man with a face covered in wrinkles and silver hair running down his head. He stares at you blankly as you walk in. Items available:
”i hope your day is good and prosperous” Basina greeted the man. “I have a pendent I would like to have evaluated and checked for magical properties. Can you be of assistance whit this?” She asked.

He inspects the pendant closely for a few seconds, then says "It couldn't be. Could this be?" He sniffs it "It is! It's a key pendant! Legend says; once you need to find all five of these, the path to the Rubies of Light will open!"
“Well drag me through the market and call me biscuit. That is amazing and very good news. How much do I owe you for the appraisal my friend?” Basina says happily as she is carefully put the pendant away.

Gorokum eyes the goods for sale on the tables with admiration. With enough gold, acquiring these items would be enough to make the army at home extremely powerful. The could cement their hold on their lands and be done with the invading orcs and gnolls for good. If only he had more than the pittance of coins in his pocket. He is snapped out of these thoughts by the man and his evaluation of the pendant. A key to the Rubies of Light? They found this one out of blind luck. How on earth were they going to get lucky enough to do the same four more times?
"Excuse me, sir," Gorokum begins. "I understand that no one has seen or heard even a rumor as to the location of the Rubies of Light. But, does that hold true for the keys as well? Has there ever been stories about the locations of keys like this one?"

"Some have found one of the pendants, but the others are hiding out there somewhere. Very few know what the pendants look like, and see the real thing as a valuable charm. I can't say for sure if the charms were obtained or not, but I know one of them still lays within a realm once sealed away, but I feel the gateway opened somewhere in town..."

"My dear lady, you don't owe me anything for this inspection, I'm a man of morals."
"A gateway?" Gorokum says. That reminds him of something that was said the night before in the tavern, some drunken fool taking about a portal in his backyard that someone had disappeared inside.
He turns to Basina and Jadyn.
"We may want to consider changing course this morning and finding the home where the drunk claimed there was a portal in his yard. That could be this gateway."
Jadyn absentmindedly draws his fingers over the numerous magical items, feeling their power. He turns at the sound of Gorokum’s voice, and nods as he clutches the side of the table.
“Yes, if this is the case we cannot risk the portal closing before we get the charm. The maybe not so dead wife will have to wait.” Basina said with urgency.
The thought of going in to another realm frightened her but it needed to be done and she had no knowledge about portals like this and could not judge how stable or unstable it could be. Best to just get it over with.

"Just know one thing. The place holds several people warped by the realm's influence, called Crystalains. If you stay in that realm for exactly 24 hours, you will turn into one of them, and will be unable to leave the realm. Ever!"
“I don’t like the sound of that. Is there a way to track the charm once we are in the other realm? The less searching we need to do the better I guess” she asks the old man.
Then she turns to Gorokum and Jadyn. “Did any of you spot any information about these Crystalains in the notes from the gnome? I didn’t, but then I’m not known for my book smarts” she said with a shrug.

"There is nothing in these pages," Gorokum tells the others. "We will just have to rely on our instincts and keep a careful watch on how long we are on the other side. Hopefully there is a sun in that world that we can gauge the time by."
He takes on last look at the items on display, nods his head and turns towards the door.
"If there is nothing else, we should make our way across town and find the home with the portal."
You arrive at a house the man who spoke of the rumor, is standing in front of. Crazily, he says "Thank you for coming, the portal is doing something strange! These weird crystals are popping up around it, please, come with me." He leads you into his backyard, on the wall is an indigo portal with lavender-colored crystals surrounding. "Please, take care in there." He then walks away, leaving you alone with the portal

Gorokum looks at the other two, wondering if that really just happened. This is some sort of dreamworld, Gorokum thinks to himself. Not for the first time, he wonders if he some how ended up in the Feywild when his troop crossed into this kingdom.
He steps closer and examines the crystals that circle the portal.
