“Well how’s about I get you and your friends drinks on the house as a way of a welcome to Dumbarton and you can all tell me about yourselves, we don’t tend to get a lot of foreigners in this part, that’s more the neighbouring town of King’s Watch where the Castle of Peltagrow stands and the trading ships dock.” She inquires as looks around the table at each and everyone of you, this is all very exciting for her as she wonders what stories you hold, meanwhile the ogre Bilgore is less than happy to see you here as his family was here before the kings rule and he doesn’t trust outsiders
" Hello there Ogre! How about coming over and sharing a drink? " Mislaia waves the ogre over then looks around the table " So I have introduced myself what about you all? "
For a moment Chain is surprised at the free mug standing in front of him, but then takes it and nods to the Goliath. "Well met, warrior. My name is Chain. What do I call you?"
Chain says as he lowers the bandana hiding his face and takes a big gulp out of the mug.
The halfling listened carefully to Mislaia's intricate story and at the finish says, "Well, that's quite a good story. Plenty of heartache and dark moodiness. I'm not sure it livened the place up much. But any entertainment in this world is worth its reward. I'd be happy to buy you a mead or cider or whatever they have."
She turns to Amber, "Can I get a mead for my friend here? And while we're at it, you seem like you are familiar with the area. Any good stories? Any odd inhabitants? Mysterious houses where no one goes in and no one comes out?"

Chain is not amused by the spell targeting him. He manages to resist the effect, and draws his swords. "I don't take kindly to people harassing me with magic. I just want a drink, but if you do that again, all bets are off." Chain says with barely contained rage.
Distracted by the interactions between Chain and the goliath and noticing that Mislaia seems to be casting some kind of spell, it takes a moment for the halfling to realize Amber has asked them all for their stories. "Oh, um, sorry, the name's Sora. I've spent a good part of my life traveling with my family, then settled down for a while with a fine teacher, and now I'm on the road again. I'm rather wondering what the next phase of my life will bring."

In the midst of this Amber signals Bilgore over for a round of mead for everyone, she laughs lightly as she turns her attention to you all “So it appears you’ve all come from many different wakes of life, whether you’re a warrior, a bard, a wizard or other... surprisingly you’re not the oddest thing to come through this land.” Bilgore comes over with the tray of mead and scolds her as he puts them down before you “Amber no more speak, frighten away money. Amber’s shift is almost finished.” Amber opened and closed her mouth in protest but she wasn’t about to argue with her boss, also a human vs an ogre never ends pretty
Chain pulls the drink away from his mouth for a moment in surprise, looking incredulously at it. "Huh? Barkeep, what the hell did you put in those drinks?" Chain asks as he turns back to Amber.
“I didn’t put anything in your drink handsome, but your friend might’ve.” She said as gazed over at Mislaia “Amber come.” Bilgore ordered the barmaid, she desperately wanted to tell you more about the strange going’s on, but perhaps it was best she didn’t besides the last party of hunters from Dumbarton who entered The Dry Woods could’ve very easily of had a hunting accident, the talk of darker sinister going on’s was just campfire stories, one a bard might share “Well it was lovely meeting you all, I hope you have a nice stay.” She says as she gets up, lifting her large skirt as she does and heads back towards the counter, following Bilgore in his step.

Chain glares daggers at Mislaia for a few seconds, but then decides to drop the issue and returns to his drink.
Minor illusion to make Chain's drink shout " No, don't drink me! "
Of course this is done with the wave of a hand so it doesn't look like Mislaia did it
