She grins over at Nick, "Rough morning?" she says and offers him a berry.  

I glare at her, "you some sort of magicker? back off." I draw my battleaxe.

"Druid, thought you might have a headache after those drinks last night, but I understand we just met."  She replaces the berry back into her pouch and continues out with the group headed north.  

Zakon, having gathered his meager possessions, moves out with the group.  He moves quickly up to the front, keeping an eye out for anything dangerous.  He says to Ertix, "Anything we should know about as we head north?  Things to watch out for?" he asks.

(ooc my apologies if we have an ooc thread, but I'm concerned how well this thread is going?)

( I would have to say, you guys are heading north and discussing monsters... So better than some but not very good )

Meanwhile, back with the group heading north...

"Things to watch out for... there are occasionally bandits on the road, but I can lead you through the forest without any trouble. Again, orc tribes, goblins, some wild beasts..." He pauses, closing his eyes and tapping his forehead. "What is it... what was that legend that Eliana told me... think Etrix, think!" he mutters to himself.  He turns back to the group. "There is also a legend that something is deep in the forest, something terrible. I can't remember the details though."

Zakon looks at Etrix.  "So . . . do we have to go through the forest to get where we're heading?  Or is there a route north without going into the forest with a possible terrible something?" he asks. 

"yes possible terrible something sounds a little too dangerous, maybe we should settle for a path with occasional bandits, hopefully not as dangerous?" Eerie says cautiously.  

"Well, in order to get to the orc camp that would be my next target, we can follow the road north, but we would then have to go northwest into the forest a little bit. If you're wondering where the legend says this... thing is, the tales tell of it resting in an eternal sleep far in the east side of the forest. We won't have to worry about it. I don't know why I even mentioned it."

"That sounds like an excellent destination, I'm for it!"  She adjusts her pack, confirms weapons are easily accessed and continues on with the group. 

Initiative:3 I charge the orcs with my longsword.

"So what did these orcs do?" Zakon asks.  "And yes, eternal sleep sounds like something I'd like to give a wide berth, if ye don't mind."

"These orcs do... savage things. They plunder and burn villages, they kill fathers and their children, they even take the women of the villages as their own personal slaves! They go from village to village, doing these things, and they MUST be killed." You see a single tear run down his cheek. "They took from me, and I now must take from them. Let's get moving. We need to get to this camp before they can do anymore harm."

"Yes! They must.  We should be careful of potential captives in our attacks then.  We must hurry on."  She states picking up her pace. 

Duke, wanting to try and lift the mood a little bit. "Listen all, we can't go into battle with emotions, that's how mistakes are made. Let's get into a good state of mind with a nice tune." Duke will begin to play a nice summer melody.

Summer loving happened so fast
I met a girl crazy for me....."

"Met a guy, cute as can be....Summer days drifted away.."  Eerie sings along softly not knowing how she knows the words...

Zakon looks quizzically at Eerie and Duke, but says nothing.  He continues on, alert for any sign of orcs.
