Kiera pulls down both notices and takes them to the table "Any of these appeal to anybody? We could use the coin"

Aurlan thinks a bit. “Definitely something that I’d like to help with. I’ll try and get my new friends to assist as well.” 

Before leaving, he hands the elf the spare glass of ale.

He returns to the table, and tells the others about the elf’s plight. “I’d say help the gentleman out, then the wine, then the crop thieves.”

"I don't know... it... it sounds kind of dangerous. Besides, if it goes underwater, we won't be able to reach it. And what if it is strong enough to wreck our ship? What if it tilts the ship and it sinks? What if it..." She keeps bringing up a few more examples of different lethal failures and then sits in silence for a moment. When she continues, she does so in a silent but calm voice. "If you all choose to do it, I'll go with you, but I prefer doing something else first. We should at least get to know each other better before we pursue something that dangerous, that's what I think."

"I'd rather help those who need it more first" Kiera smiles "The richer folks I'm sure can last a little longer but this man seems as though he isn't so well off and the issue is making it hard to support himself, so I would probably say this Gentleman then Crop thieves then wine, however, I am happy to go with Aurlans order" 

'Let us help this fisherman then decide where to go after that. Worry not Fayne. With our combined magic and the skills of our companions we have nothing to fear.'

"I'll protect you as best I can just stay close!"

Kiera smiles and laughs heartily 

"Okay then... if you all think it's the right thing to do..." she acquiesces to the group.

 To the Fisher elf 'Vestigar Darkson at your service. What all can you tell us about this beast in the water?'

The elf smiles, leaning back in his chair. "The beast is particularly interested in the Dalin and Salios fish species, which would be helpful when baiting him. The beast has only hunted near the southern most docks, implying it is migrating in from the ocean. It is larger than a standard fishing boat, and I believe it is a dark blue color. I think I've even seen a tentacle once or twice. Based on where it hunts, I imagine it lives in a waterlogged cave near the mouth of the St. Mercasio Sea. I don't know too much else about it, to be quite honest. I have fish for bait, and a ship shall you need it."

Kiera looks around the group thinking "Have you been inside this cave? Do you know if there is solid ground inside to fight off, or are we going to be fighting off the boat? Does it come near the shore for these fish it likes?"

"I've been outside the cave and peered in. The beast appears to be at least partially amphibious, so it may come up on land when inside the cave. It comes quite near the shore for the fish it likes...it's why it's so dangerous. It's gotten close to severely injuring many of my fellow fishermen by coming so close to the shore. Hopefully you'll only have to ride the boat into the cave, and then will be able to fight it from the cave's rocky surface."

To the group 

'Let us do as he suggests. I can electrify the water if it should try to escape to the sea, and of we can use a boat we can pursue regardless. This will be an important first step in establishing ourselves in this strange land.'

Kiera nods "I can destroy some of the water should It come down to it, I may be able to ground it for a bit"

“Well, we do thank you for lending us the ship and the fish along with it. We’ll hopefully have everything back in one piece, maybe with the felled creature or at least a part of it as proof. When we head back to the harbor, what ship would it be?” asks Aurlan.

Kiera thinks a moment "I also think it may be best to do this at night, perhaps it will be less active then, not to mention that I am more effective then as well"

The elf says, "Well,my ship I'm lending you is a larger fishing boat. On the side, it has engraved in the wood: 'Lone Rowena.' It's named after a goddess from my religion. Hopefully it serves you well."

Kiera nods "Thank you, we will treat it with the utmost respect" looking to the rest of the group "Have any of you heard of a creature with this description? Sea creatures aren't exactly my strong suit"

'I am not very familiar with the sea so I have no idea what this could be. I do how ever far great confidence in our group. Perhaps we can talk to the wine merchants today before we head out to slay this beast tonight.'

"Sounds like a plan Vestigar" Kiera sighs "I should put my armour back on then shouldnt I?" She smiles and stands heading to the room to grab her gear and put her armour on
