Hopefully you are getting all of the bad rolls out of the way. Try changing to a 1d4 or something and roll just randomly then back to 1d20. It's acting like its rolling a smaller dice.
I'm in a variety of games and i've run into stints like that. Rarely rolling 6 so quickly in one game but have a few times where I couldn't break 8. On the other hand. Last Friday I had an IRL game that I DM. There was a period there where I had near 12 rolls where I couldn't 10 and that was using several different d20s. My players were pretty happy that night. I was just glad that they were so far off tangent with what they were doing, they weren't plowing through plot elements with that easy.
Recruiting open for a 5th and possibly 6th player depending on responses and will be open very briefly(as I hate turning people down)
This LMOP is currently in its 3rd part (after Old Owl Well / Banshee Agatha (You are here) before Thundertree)
Please expect to post at least once within a 24 hr period as this keeps game flow fair and fun especially if we go with 6. This particular game has run steadily for a year so far and players are in it to the end of at least the LMOP series of dungeons. Looking for a Rogue type and the possible 6th would be a cleric.
Specifications:
NO homebrew, ideally PHB but will consider others and have - if you're not sure please feel free to ask PMs will be answered but the more complicated your character the less likely a yes.

Start @ 3rd lvl to be even with the group -> if accepted you will be provided with 70 additional gp to add/adjust supplies and gear.
All inclusive - The group is non-judgemental, new-player friendly and even-toned. Anything else will not be tolerated.
Ability scores - You may roll and reroll 1s once. If you are not happy with the scores you get, please feel free to switch to Point Buy or Standard Array.

Backstory: Brencharis was born into a life of crime, her mother and father both members of a small thieves guild just outside of Neverwinter. She grew up picking pockets and picking locks, all the while learning from the older thieves running with the thieves guild her parents were in. Life was good for the young thief, up until the Neverwinter guard they weren’t worth the trouble they caused and decided to crack down on the guild. The guild scattered before they could get caught, with Brencharis setting out with the friends she’d made in the guild heading down to Waterdeep to make their fortunes in the city. The young thieves worked on their own for about a year, before the larger groups in the city decided to “recruit” them. Brencharis left the city in order to escape getting forcibly recruits to a larger group and set out for the small town of Phandelver, but got lost and ended up getting stabbed in the gut by a highwayman and left in a ditch. This is where her story has lead her so far.
Please do your rolls again - several d8s and plus 8s if you are interested. Not familiar with Phantom Rogue - if you would please select something more common.

Will all that editing cause dice to reroll and the manipulated dice warning.
Probably not, but if you want to be absolutely sure, you can leave spacers like:

x
until the post is actually permanent so nothing touches the roll while editing.
Then just remove them for the final post.
