Reidoth though startled by the waking event stands back to observe the interactions between the various members of the party. A lot can be learned from an interaction such as this.
Prentiss stares at the silent paladin, then says to the group "Well if he's not prepared to share then that's his business; let's head out" and makes his way to leave.
Reidoth latches the door behind the group and points to a farmhouse to the east and slightly south of where you are now.
This ruin looks as if it might once have been a farmhouse. It is now half swallowed by a dense thicket, with trees growing up through its ruined foundations. The lane continues south a short distance past the ruin before ending in an overgrown field. It is presently midmorning and the day is bright.
"Any time I've approached the place a continuing stream of twig blights assails me, so I've learned to avoid the place. Perhaps you are more suited to the task?"
What do you do? (Please roll perception check for me with your actions)
Velshir will suggest that the plant monsters don’t seem too dangerous and could be eradicated without much effort. He will cautiously take point and approach, with intent to lure them out of their camouflage and concentrate their attacks on him, so the party can focus them down.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Prentiss agrees, clenching his fists as icicles form around his knuckles. "Aye, let's clear them out now for everyone's sake, keep the ground clear behind us"
Nothing stirs as they approach but both Velshir and Prentiss spot some familiar dead looking bushes just to the east of the Farm house starting to stir.
Initiatives please with your actions. There is a solid mass of dead bushes on the eastern side of the building half a dozen at least. Only two seem to move at the moment.
Joshua will follow up behind Velshir with Prentiss
Initiative: 13
Joshua will light up a Fire Bolt and as he releases it his eyes flash blue and the flame splits into two heading for two targets(Twined spell Metamagic)
Prentiss acts quickly, almost surprising himself. Keeping his energy in reserve for the larger fights that he expects later, he fires a freezing ray at one blight - casting frostbite
DC13 CON save or take 2 cold damage and have disadvantage on its next weapon attack roll

Velshir “waits” for the spells to launch before rushing forward to engage what he thinks are more plant monsters. He will bring down his mace on the nearest one, intending to smash it to flinders.
Reidoth stands back with the others as Prentiss, Joshua, and Velshir sneak carefully forward seeing nothing moving ahead but a 'suspicious' pile of dead bushes massed on the Eastern side of the Farmhouse. As Prentiss and Velshir look cautiously ahead they hear a crackle of energy behind them and turn (in a very Ghostbusters 1-esque) look back to see Joshua hair rising as if on a static charge, his hand in motion with a familiar Fire Bolt but this time it splits into two and flashes at the dried bushes. His hair flashes in a quick flame along with it and completely disappears from his head leaving the handsome elf with a shiny bald head.
The bushes crackle and burn in a couple vital areas and Prentiss turns back with a quick phrase (very Peter Venkman) and joins the fray quickly blasting the flames with an icy blast. Velshir nearly missing all of the fun charges in (very Raymond Stantz) and smashes the fragile remaining limbs to bits. Standing victoriously over the pile of steaming brush. If there were Twig Blights in the lot, the world will never know....although the brush did seem to die spectacularly.
Reidoth looks on a grin slowly creeping over his face. "Yes, you all will do nicely."
Combat over
@Joshua - your hair grows back slowly over the next hour. I know I'm not playing Wild Surge exactly but have to set it off once in a while - you're not rolling any 1s.

Velshir asks that the group keep a lookout while he takes a few minutes to inspect the inside of the structure. He recognizes that the ruin may be pretty far gone - is there any hint of anything valuable at this spot? Perhaps the blights have been guarding something.

(Totally fair lol) "Anyone else feel that cold chill on their heads" Joshua moves to cover Velshir as he goes into the ruined building
Prentiss advances with Joshua and Velshir. He tries not to stare at his fellow sorcerer's shiny head, all too aware of being on the other end of people's curiosity.
"It is a chilly breeze, yes" he says, fixing his gaze straight ahead with wide eyes
