The Kobolds keep to their words and toss down their spears and sling their shields over their backs. They step away from the opening, letting the group pass. You all now see a double row of relief-carved marble columns that march the length of this long, large hall. The worn carvings depict entwining dragons. At the end of the hall a short throne stands near the west wall, constructed of fallen bits of masonry stacked against an old altar. On the top of the altar sit a variety of small items. The portion of the altar that serves as the throne’s back features a carving of a rearing dragon. A metallic key is held firmly in the dragon’s open jaws. Upon the makeshift thrown sits a kobold clad in a somewhat frayed white robe and a few notes of finery.A ring with an opal that seems just a tad too big sits on the Kobold's finger.
The two guards from the hall stay several paces behind. You can see the throne is flanked by two more guards. Their spears lay on the floor. There, just behind one of the guards, you can see Meepo peering out. "Yusdrayl, they -" Meepo is cut off as the Kobold on the throne, apparently Yusdrayl, raises a hand to silence him. Yusdrayl straightens herself on the throne before speaking, "So you ones causing trouble for Clan? Why you come? Why you attack my Clan?"
Speaking to Yusdrayl, "What trouble do you speak of? I do admit that we threatened and attacked your clan and for that I apologize. If there was anything done before today, we are not responsible. I prefer to avoid bloodshed when an alternate solution can be found. Let this be one of those times. As for why we are here, we are looking for some people who might have come here earlier. If you have information about a group that came by here earlier, we would be delighted to hear it. We also have been told that goblins have stolen from you. We have no desire for goblins gaining what is not theirs so we may be willing to assist you in recovery as an offering of good will."
"Mmm...Humans...Yusdrayl know them. Yusdrayl know who you seek. " Yusdrayl gestures to the door at the opposite end of the hall. "There. They go there. Goblins through there, too! Goblins stole Clan Dragon. They took Calcryx! " She seethes, letting a hiss lay heavy on the last beat of her words. "You go. Bring back Calcryx. Yusdrayl reward Dragon's return. Maybe we trust you then. Maybe offer more help. Go." The Kobold waves her hand, dismissing the party.
Wynn proceeds to walk back and get his hammer. He grabs as much as he can carry of the dropped equipment back to the rest of the party, he does this until all the gear is returned.
Wynn then kneels and pulls out his holy symbol and prays to his god.
(To those who look a the symbol it is an 8 pointed star 4 of the tips are spears, the other 4 maces.)
Stone recovers his weapons with the others, standing by the noted door while Wynn prays and the others prepare. As he watches the others and the kobolds, he recites a mantra.

The Kobolds at this point are willing to parlay with you a bit more. They would allow you to rest either here in Yudrayl's hall, or back in the previous area with where you met Meepo.
OOC: I don't need a rest but we can take one if you need it. Let's go once the rest is over.
While taking a short break with the kobolds, Gavin goes back to the room Meepo was in to investigate what was on the table. The kobolds were being friendly but he still didn't fully trust them.
A rest it is! You all rest an hour. Feel free to spend any hit dice you may or may not need.
Gavin, the bench you investigate seems to serve as a sort of tiny altar. Resting on it are containers of green dye, a paintbrush made of goblin-hair bristles, and five tiny jade figurines of dragons.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Stone stands ready to proceed with the others.

((Hey all! Sorry for the delay. This week will probably be a bit slow for me due to the Holiday.))
The door opens to a winding hallway. It is completely empty, dimly lit with ensconced candles, and ends in another door on the north facing wall. The guards will tell you that this is the door to the Goblins. They usually meet in this hall to parlay...and exchange of prisoners for the most part. With that, the guards shut the first door behind you and leave you all to your own devices.

Wynn states, "May I have my hammer back? It would be easier to deal with the goblins if I did."
Yusdrayl looks to Wynn. "We no take equipment. It wherever you drop it. My Clan honorable clan. We stick to word!"
Wynn proceeds to walk back and get his hammer. He grabs as much as he can carry of the dropped equipment back to the rest of the party, he does this until all the gear is returned.

Gavin, make me a Perception Check, please.
Perception: 21
OOC: I think we are resting.

Gavin tells the group what he found. He doesn't see any special significance in it but will note it for later.
"Are you rested and ready to go? Let's find Calcryx." Gavin opens the door and steps through.
Let's get moving. Barnos draws his short swords and heads toward the door.
Wynn stands up and unslings his shield and readies hammer and begins to follow.
