Hyre/Aelar:
Hyre manages to grab onto Barna's wrist just before she falls. She grabs onto his arm and with Aelar's help, they get her up and over the side. Panting and spent, Barna lays on the roof for the moment as a voice can be heard from below.
"The fach are you doin' up therre man?"
"Uhh... I fuggot. Oh hey! More bogweed! I thawt we werr out. Get th' pipes!"
Barna needs a little time to recover as she rolls over and finds her dress, putting it back on over her now-sweaty body. She gestures she's all right to move and the three get the hell out of there unseen. Only when they're a safe distance away does Barna fall to her knees, laughing hysterically with the release of adrenaline.
"I can't believe we got out of that alive!" she wheezes, then looks over at Aelar.
"Did you get the locket?" she asks.

Glancing around first, Aelar reaches into the bag and pulls out the locket. As he does so, he tries to sense anything special about it or from it, anything at all about Dragons. He also examines it closely when he brings it out.

Not sure what roll if any would be needed for the 'sensing/feeling' thing.

Hyre/Aelar:
(You just activated my plot card!)
The moment Aelar fishes out the actual locket itself and touches it, something happens. The locket splits apart, revealing a carved gem inside. His hand is somehow magnetized to it. He can't let go as it begins glowing, brighter and brighter, with the pulsing of a heartbeat... try as he might, his hand won't come off! The pulsing is now audible and getting faster, matching Aelar's own. The glow is now so bright that his bones can now be seen through his flesh. A radiant heat begins to singe his skin, yet Aelar feels no pain. His whole body seems to lock up going stiff, forcing his hand to his chest, over his heart, pressing the locket there. The glow surrounds his chest and the other two can see his beating heart illuminated by whatever power is driving this. The sound and smell of burning flesh seeps into the night air... and then it's over.
Aelar's able to move on his own again, but burned into his skin is something Hyre recalled seeing when he remembered the story of the titans; the sigil of Baha, god of dragons.
(Aelar now has 25/50 (I messed up and forgot that it was initially 20, but I've been doing 50 ever since the beginning so I'm gonna keep going with it.) class points towards sorcerer and 15/50 towards warlock)

At this point, Hyre is too tired for an actual response. He doesn't really process this very well and pretty much just wants to sleep. Other than sleep, the only thing on his mind is reflecting back on multiple mistakes he had made that evening and the word "stupid" repeated over and over in his head.
When he finally responds, he merely looks at Barna and asks: "Did you know something about this?" The question is rather cold and calm, not what you'd expect after such a show. On the other hand, Hyre was never the kind to get all emotional about things, so it might make sense for some.

Hyre/Aelar:
Barna isn't home right now. She's grabbed onto Hyre and too busy looking terrified. When she finally realizes that Hyre spoke, she blinks several times and then lightly shakes him by the shoulders.
"No! Why would I think something like THAT would happen!?" she cries out. Her panic starts to fade when she sees that Aelar is all right.
"But... sister Daar's the only one who should be able to use this. I mean, nothing like that happened when THEY touched it and took it." she says, then timidly holds out her hand.
"I think... the sooner it gets back to her, the better... yeah?" she asks, fingers trembling. She's expecting it to be hot, but it just feels warm in Aelar's hand.

"Perhaps tomorrow? We'll choose a place to meet and then go. I haven't slept for... quite some time... and I'm..." He lets out a big yawn. "Quite tired. Also, I don't want to make my friends worry too much. They don't know where we are. Besides, I'm not thinking straight. The past day has been quite eventful and I'm acting pretty recklessly. This isn't like me. I say we split the money, leave this thing with Aelar... I really don't want to touch it right now, even though it does make me slightly curious... I'm just... I can't..." Another yawn. "As you can see, I don't want to fall asleep in the middle of the street."

Leon/Lazlo/Balgrin/Kallista:
(I'm going to assume Leon passed his athletics skill)
As Balgrim, Lazlo and Kallista return from doing their foraging, they arrive back to 'the hole' to see Leon struggling fiercely with something in the water. He had initially caught a relatively small fish, but something since bit onto THAT fish and is refusing to let go. A sleek, black body leaps out of the water. It's some kind of eel, about 3 feet long, and it's putting up a heck of a fight. It's not so much controlling it, it's keeping it from getting away that's difficult. He's going to need some help keeping it from just snapping the twine line and retreating down into the darkness.
DM, professional illustrator and comic artist, suffering from severe spinal stenosis, married, middle aged, and nerdy.
"
Let's check on Leon, I hope he caught some fish!"Lazlo says.Sorry! Ok so Lazlo is going to leap forward and club the eel with his practice sword. Failing a hit he is going t grab the slimy bastid to keep it ashore.
Not sure what I should roll?
(I'm better with Dex than Str- but not sure if a practice sword could use dex rather than str.)

Aelar staggers as the heat and light grow and the searing heat terrifies him...until he realizes that despite the bright light and great heat there is no pain. Something inside reaches for the light, the heat...is it the same place as Raia? And as his hand is forced to his breast he realizes he doesn't want to stop it. This is right...he knows it. He has no idea what it is but it is right.
As the light and heat fades he stands there, stunned in the aftermath of the binding. For there could be no other word for it. He is now bound to something. Baha, by the sigil of the dragons. He listens to the exchange between Hyre and Barna, still trying to process what happened, to understand it. However, understanding eludes him but of one thing he is certain--more is coming. Speaking to that place inside which seems to have always been there, waiting the right moment to blossom, he frames a question. Should I keep the locket or return it to the sister?
When Barna holds out her hand to the locket, he does not give it to her. "I think my friend is right. I will hold onto this for now, Barna. I have a feeling I might be supposed to have it now...at least for a bit. But let's go talk to this sister. I have questions for her and my friend is right. We are both very tired."

Lazlo/Leon/Balgrim/Kallista:
(It's just a wooden sword, so use your best stat to strike with. You're just trying to stun it enough to drag it in, after all. It doesn't need to be a full strength swing.)

Hyre/Aelar:
Barna smirks and puts her arm around Hyre's waist.
"Nothing doing. I'm walking you back to where you're camped out, sleepyhead, to make sure you make it there in one piece. I'm not going to stay, I just want to meet the group you're with." she says, looking to Aelar.
"Okay, THAT doesn't sound ominous at all. I think you should give that back before it curses you or something. It marked you, sure, but can YOU breathe fire now? Don't see any. It belongs with sister Daar. If she doesn't have that locket, she can't defend the mission when those ******** sober up and realize that they've been robbed. Who do you think they're going to come after first?" she says.
"Besides, the deal was the locket in the first place. Everything else is yours, far as I'm concerned. Maybe that cup. It won't do you two much good 'cause I doubt you have a fencer, but I'll leave that up to you. Plus, sister Daar will be happy to give you a closer look at it... maybe she might even know what in the world it just did to you, and why, but right now, she's defenseless. I can run it over to her after you two get back safely to your friends."

As they head towards the meeting with Sister Daar, Aelar feels a smile crease his face at the return of the familiar voice.
My apologies, Raia. It was an instinctive call for aid. And, no, never a a thief. I'm new to this...whatever this is...and didn't know if this was something passed from...person to person in some sort of ritual. Thank you for letting me know.
Turning to Barna, "When we get back to the Sister, I will give you the locket so you can be the one to return it to her. I now know what I am supposed to do." He gives her his most winning smile.

Lazlo/Leon/Balgrim/Kallista:
