Leshanna is from the Feywild, and has worked as a bounty hunter for much of her life. She tracks down those who wrong someone in the fey courts, and bring them back to face justice. She had just finished her latest bounty, and was looking for a new job, when the invitation arrived.
Growing up the son of a tavern keeper, Akanos “Kane” Novak was frail and and bullied for being a Tielfing. His father never intervened. He thought it would toughen up his son. A loner at school, Kane stuck to academics, graduating at the top of class. In order to protect himself, Kane studied dark magics. Along the course of his studies, Kane accidentally summoned Mephistopheles, the Devil Lord of Magic. Mephistopheles proposed a deal. In exchange for Kane becoming his disciple, Mephistopheles would grant him great power. Kane, never wanting to be bullied again, accepted. Word got around of this new Spellcaster, Akanos Novak. Eventually he received an invitation to the Banhaven Academy. Seeing this an opportunity to gain more knowledge, Kane accepted.
