(Preparing eldritch blast)

Falqinor takes to the sky on his broom, taunting Egozi while his 'raven' companion searches for signs of the elusive monk. When it reports nothing of help, he prepares a little magical surprise for when the monk might next show himself. Him and his illusory triplets. 

(@Fal: As mentioned pm, arena limits is 30ft up for PCs and their assistants alike. I'll assume as well that as part of its prep, the imp/raven turned invisible.)

 Arena 3: The Pits(Round 1-Cont.)

Contestants:

"Fine, I'll reveal myself, with a blast!" Egozi runs forward, keeping behind the walls for cover. When he reaches the end of a wall, still somewhat behind the wall, he hurls his javelin. Usually, at that range, it would be hard to hit, but the javelin isn't a normal javelin. It transforms into a lightning bolt that pierces through the arena, all the way to the arena's wall. Then, Egozi walks back to gain better cover.

Move: To D-8.
Action: Throwing the Javlin of Lightning at the wall behind Falqinor. Both Falqinor and his familiar must succeed a DC 13 Dex save or take 16 Lightning damage, half on success. 
BA: None.
Move: To D-9 (he has enough movement left even without moving diagonally).

 Egozi gives himself away, but by then it didn't really matter. Falqinor would have his chance to fling the javelin just past the caster, but not without potentially getting blasted in turn before reaching cover.

(@Egozi: I had the location of the Raven wrong, and failed update proper. It wouldn't be caught up in the lightning javelin. Map has been properly updated. At least... temporarily, assuming the EB hits.)

And took 8 cold damage.

Falqinor comes close twice, but neither readied blast or its follow-up upon moving close enough to spy the monk's new position quite hit their mark by the narrowest margins. At the very least his target had been hexed. Meanwhile, Criven continued to taunt and berate the monk.

(@Falqinor: Moved you the bare minimum distance required to both see your target and be within 30ft for Hexblade's curse(5J). Additionally, what's the 8 cold damage from? If its from AoA, that's only if a melee attack hits you and is always the same damage as was the max of temp hp created by it. So, even if you had only 1 and were hit in melee, target would still take 10 Cold damage.)

Arena 3: The Pits(Round 2-Cont.)

"You speak of a blade, but all you do is shoot from a distance. Get over here!" Egozi runs towards the mage, as close as he can get. He points at Falqinor, and strong winds start blowing at him, threatening to push him off his broom. Then, whether or not the mage fell, Egozi hurls one of his handaxes at him.

Move: To I-8.

Action: Fist of Unbroken Air. Falqinor must succeed a DC 14 Str save (this is actually not magical, so no advantage) or be pushed 20' away from Egozi (hopefully upwards?) and fall prone, which means falling damage as he falls to the ground. Also, he takes 15 bludgeoning damage, half on a successful save.

Free Action: Draw a handaxe.

BA: Ki-Fueled Attack, using his handaxe as a thrown weapon. Rolling with disadvantage because I assume he's either prone or out of normal range. Use first roll if no disadvatage is applied. Attack: 15 Damage: 6.

 Egozi returns the favor with both a quip of his own, and after stepping out into proper view, channeling his inner strength and projecting it as a powerful blast of wind, sending a powerful blast of wind upward at the sorlock, hopefully dislodging him from his broom. And if not, he had a handaxe ready to launch as well, though one destined to come up short all the same. 

(@All: Hmm.. s'pose its only fair.)

(@Falqinor: Make a Strength Save(DC 14) or take 15 Bludgeoning Damage and fall prone at 1J. If save is failed, you'll take an additional 16 Fall damage.)

As falqinor is struck by the winds he falls badly injured and stands remounting the broom and hovering 25' above the wall once again sending crackling blasts toward egozi

The manipulated rolls result was from accidentally deleting and replacing health roll. It was 7 before

Falqinor, though badly bruised upon having his own tactics thrown against him, calls his broom back to his side and gets just enough height over the wall to spy his target. From there, he sends another crackling blast of energy that on impact, violently pulls Egozi into the air and closer before gravity reasserts itself. Cravin meanwhile reappears at his masters side, feeding the Yuan-Ti his potion.

(Crit Damage due to Hexblade's Curse lowering threshold to 19: 8.)

(@Falqinor: I'm gonna presume the imp transformed back into its true form last turn, as that does take an action. But in the future, do make that clear, even if only in a spoiler, as that does affect its speed. Additionally, with the broom needing to move back to you, you're only able to get up 15ft into the air. No chanages to the fall damage as Egozi would still be falling 20ft between being pulled up 10ft before falling into the pit, which would be 20ft down from the new position.)

As Egozi starts to fall, he shifts the air around him to slow his fall, and he lands harmlessly. Then, Egozi repeats the same attempt to push Falqinor off his broom, seeing it was very effective before. He blasts concentrated air at the mage, and prepares to throw a handaxe in case the mage doesn't fall.

Reaction: Slow Fall to reduce the falling damage by 20, so he takes 0 falling damage.

Movement: If he's prone, Egozi stands up.

Action: Fist of Unbroken Air. Falqinor must succeed a DC 14 Str save (this is actually not magical, so no advantage) or be pushed 20' away from Egozi (hopefully upwards?) and fall prone, which means falling damage as he falls to the ground. Also, he takes 21 bludgeoning damage, half on a successful save.

Free Action: Draw a handaxe.

BA: Ki-Fueled Attack, using his handaxe as a thrown weapon. Rolling with disadvantage because I assume he's either prone or out of normal range. Use first roll if no disadvatage is applied. Attack: 15 Damage: 5.

Egozi's training comes in hand, as a well conjured cushion of air spares him harm(no prone regardless). After which, he again returns the aerial assault with a blast of air, softer than the last, but dangerous all the same given the consequences.

(@Falqinor: Make a Strength Save(DC 14) or take 9 Bludgeoning Damage and fall prone at 1J. If save is failed, you'll take an additional 1 Fall damage.)

(@Egozi: Same deal as last time if the above save is failed, Falqinor will behind a wall and will not be targetable for your Ki-Fueled Attack. And since effectively being pushed against the arena wall, no added height for fall damage.)

Regardless of whether Falqinor falls or not, the grinding of gears in the wall, which had been steadily building in intensity over time, concludes with vents opening up in the staging area and releasing a rather superheated feeling gas from just proximity alone, swallowing up both fiend and sorlock alike.
