Scene #2: Patting her on the shoulder both to thank her and comfort her, Kaisaras nodded his head at Alena's words, "I'll do my best to keep an eye out, however, could you be more specific? Are they an organized group or do you simply mean that the rats have heard that the cats are fighting for the litter box?"
Scene #3: History check: 4
Kaisaras had no way of recognizing the man. He wasn't normally the one to approach other noble houses to begin with, and had only recently begun doing so due to the situation with his father. That said, even then, normally had to study on the noble house's heads or their counterparts since he was new, but with all the major and minor lords in the city alone, he was still learning them all.
With that said, his disposition to prevent needless violence stood firm. Still glaring at the man from under his scarf as he stood in front of him, maintaining the accent, "Bleedin' king dies and you'z think that'z a good reason to go off and **** one out on some soft, wet nobleman just cause you'z be a bit stiff in the sheets over somethin he wazn't even there for!? You'z gone soft in the head!" He then addressed the crowd, hoping to disuade them or scare them off, "And you'z all! You'z think that'z right!? That any man or woman haz the right to come knockin' on your door, and smash you'z head in, just cause he blasted upset at your neigbhor's cousin or the other!? HA! I knowz thingz are crazy right now, but don't be stupid!"
Radgar steps forward holding his hammer and mumbling under his breath 'lend me your honey-tongued oh wise one..'
'Alrright, ye heard the man, back up, back off, and stand down. There's been enough of this nonsense for now.' as the speaker mentions the death of the king, the cleric spins and turns on him 'The King enforces the law, but the law flows from the Gods themselves they do, and my hammer stands ready to enforce those laws if needs be.'
Swigning his hammer into the air above his head, the cleric casts his voice to carry 'Enough of this nonsense, I say. Back to yer homes.'
Fargrim leans over to the rest of the group and quietly alerts them to the suspicious people in the crowd. "Looks like this is going to turn ugly. Those guys in the crowd aren't here for protest or grievance. They're here for trouble. They're waiting to strike. I say, we hit 'em first. Take one down hard and this crowd will scatter."
Kurstin mentally notes whether his stink bomb was effective or not, hopefully it dispersed at least some of the crowd. He had another little surprise up his sleeve to move people if needed, but for now he held his unique crossbow, now specially modified with additional runes carved into the front section, at the ready. He also had a marble-sized, blue pellet in one hand ready to throw in the crowd if needed. (This is the Dust of Dryness he absorbed a 15'x15' cube of water...ready to turn it back to that wall of water by breaking it in the crowd! =)
Danse did not recognize the man being presumably executed in a fit of mob justice - or whatever these lunatics considered fair play. Neither did he care, really; nobles rarely wandered the streets Danse tended to perform on, and even more rarely did they throw some gold his way. If they didn't care about Danse, why should he be concerned about them?
"Fargrim, was it?" Danse quipped, casting an ultimately unconcerned glance over the more suspicious-than-usual members of the crowd. He brought his hands to his lips and whistled to the owl flying overhead. Moroza hooted in laughter at Radgar's admittedly terrible attempt at intimidation before she took to the sky, attempting to assess the amount and direction the noted figures were headed in. "I agree with you. These people came here for a show - as a performer, I would loathe leaving them unentertained," he continued with his perpetual, lazy grin, both scimitars lazily twirling at his wrists.

Seeing the nobleman hit by a dagger and drop to the ground, Kurstin moves to the man (directly south of him) and casts a healing spell on him. His quick action likely helped him avoid the dagger flying in his direction. He knew there was nothing he could to for the others lying on the griund, bleeding out or already dead... (Cure Wounds for 7 hp)

Watching as the blade tumbles through the air and hits the nobleman, Radgar grumbles a curse under his breath and moves to place himself over the fallen body. He drops to his knees and lays his meaty hand on the mans chest, mumbling 'agard heimz skoljdr...stay with us boyyo' Spare the Dying
He looks up as the second dagger comes his way, reaching up to take the incoming blow on his forearm, turning away the worst of the damage (Heavy Armor Master Feat) and scowling at his attacker.
Thankfully, Kaisaras' body reacts before he could, his family's training kicking in to have him sidestep as a dagger nearly hit him. Still, as he braced back to figure out what was going on, he was unable to stop the Indigo-colored bandit from striking him. Still, he gritted his teeth and quickly scanned the attackers, finding an optimal spot to cast Sleep, just behind the Orange and Red Bandit, catching the Green one in the range of the spell to.
Sleep: 15
He then quickly spots Radgar facing off against who appears to be the leader of the would-be assassins and calls over, "Stand strong, he's just a push over for you!"
Fargrim takes a dagger in between the plates of his armor and winces in pain. The thug will pay for this but first he turns to the bandit in white. "You take a swing at me, boy? You done ****ed up now, chief!" A broad smile flashed across Fargrim's face as he brought the hammer down on the bandit. Attack: 13 Damage: 5
Fargrim uses Action Surge and brings his hammer around for another hit on the bandit in white. Attack: 18 Damage: 3
Fargrim laughed "At least you can take a hit, boy!"
"I think you need to chill out!" Kurstin says as he stands and speaks an arcane phrase, causing a numbing frost to form on his assailant! (DC13 Con save or take 5 cold damage and have disadvantage on next weapon attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.)

A clink of metal emitted from Danse's whirlwind of blades as a scimitar neatly hooked the dagger from the air and diverted its momentum in a downward arc, causing it to sink into the ground below. "Ah! Some entertainment," he grinned as the Violet bandit slashed his arm. Still, that didn't deter Danse from nimbly swerving around and twirling in an arc, seeking to return the favor the bandit in Violet offered. If the bandit in Violet died by the first strike, the second slash of his scimitar's momentum carried it towards the bandit in blue. (Moving one tile up and two tiles to the left).
Satisfied that the blades flying past him into the fallen man's body will do him no more harm, the dwarf turns his attention to the thug towering over him. Scowling, the cleric holds his hammer aloft for a moment, crying out 'A-brocra Smiol! Feel the fury of Moradin's own forge' Searing Smite and brings the hammer down in an overhand strike.
(Danse moved one tile up and two tiles to the left)
After being sliced along the other arm by the bandit in Violet, Danse decided to try something he had witnessed the ringleader of the circus he spent but a few years training in. He curved his scimitar downwards in an artful display of dueling with the Violet bandit, swirled around, and gave a bow towards the audience gathered. "Don't try this at home!" he gleefully called before rising and tilting his chin in the air, dumping a small amount of gunpowder down his throat. When the Violet bandit reared back for another strike, his still-twirling scimitars connected with the harsh sound of steel connecting, causing a spark to ignite and a thunderous thunderclap to erupt from the explosion of gunpowder. The tattoo covering Danse's neck causes the street performer to have an uncanny likeness to a dragon as he blasts the Violet and Blue bandit with thunderous energy.
