Kurstin just glares at Ambrose - the fool didn't know when to keep his mouth shut. Zoldier's Curse of the Crimson Throne
Danse& Fargrim:
Agreeing to a plan of action, Fargrim and Danse both took their positions and waited for their target to hopefully appear. At first, neither Danse nor Moroza - perched on a nearby roof - spotted anyone approaching the boat. For about 45 minutes or so, both watched as the harbor area slowly filled with random sailors, passersby and the like. In the distance, a low hum could be heard over the sounds of the waves and port activity. The Games perhaps?
Eventually, Danse and Moroza caught a small group of (4) moving through the Old Dock that caught both of their attentions. The group, each dressed in typical sailing attire, moved with purpose in the direction of the ship. While an otherwise unremarkable group - (2) burly looking men and (1) Captain and a thin-looking First-Mate - what caught Danse's eye was the way the First-Mate was acting; he seemed to be scanning the crowd warily and looking over his shoulder as if he expected a monster to appear despite having no discernable reason to do so. To Danse, despite the get-up he was in, it was as clear as day to him that the skittish first-mate was none other than his target and his enemy: Yargin.
Slipping in behind the group at a distance, Danse followed them as they walked across the Old Dock and towards the ship in question where Fargim laid patiently in wait below. As the foursome moved across the gangplank and onto the deck, the sudden actively above caused Fargrim to jerk excitedly in preparation for action. Unfortunately, he moved a bit too excitedly and nearly knocked over a glass lamp that was next to him onto the ground. While he just managed to spin around and catch it at the last second, he didn't account for all of the bottles and objects on the shelf above him, which promptly fell - loudly - to the ground where they shattered a moment later (Sorry, had to do it with a Nat 1!).
"Someone's on me bloody ship!" the Captain bellowed as he pulled wicked saber from its scabbard. As the two bodyguards quickly pulled out similar looking shortswords at the declaration, Yargin began to turn his head about in worry before his eyes went wide and he pointed an accusatory finger towards the dock; directly at the tattooed performer a short distance away. "Y-you! It's you!! I-I knew you'd come for me! S-stay away! You two! I paid you already so kill him!" He screeched out as he began frantically fumbling through his pack for something. As passersby looked towards Danse and the group, two of which were starting to make their way down the gangplank, Danse and Fargrim knew almost simultaneously that the jig was up and that the time for action had finally come...
Roll Initiative! If you beat a 12, please give me your first round action as well (though unfortunately, since you were discovered ahead of time, there is no surprise round).
Fargrim, It'll take your full movement (25ft) to get topside and within melee range of the Captain (everyone else is a bit too far away)
Danse, As you were trailing a bit back, it'll take your full movement (30ft) to get to the bottom of the gangplank where the first bodyguard is. The Gangplank is ≈ 5ft wide and ≈ 20ft long

Kaisaras:
(You know that the Arcanamirium is a world famous magic school on the island country of Absalom. It's located in the Capitol city (also named Absalom) - one of the great political and economic hubs this part of the world - and generally considered on of the most prestigious places of study in the world. Many notable Pathfinders (a society for noted adventurers) have gotten their start at the academy.
"Exactly like me? I have no idea w-what you mean..." the man said as sweat began to form on his brow. It was quite evident to Kaisaras & Arcadia at that moment that he was lying. And lying poorly (Damn Nat 1s!! XD). The man once again shifted his gaze towards the crowd as he spoke, and this time, Kaisaras was able to spot what exactly he was staring at: On the opposite side of the stands, he spotted the person that looked exactly like the man he was interrogating. And then he spotted a second. And a third. The more he looked, the more copies of the same familiar and unassuming face he saw hidden and mingled in with the crowd. By Kaisaras' estimation, there were at least 10 of them, but he couldn't be sure without a more through search of the stands. "If there's nothing else..." the man added as he once again looked towards the stands, now almost entirely full and waiting in anticipation for the Games to start any minute, "Can I go back to my seat? I don't want to miss the start." At the same time (6) of copies seemed to rise in unison from different parts of the stands and slowly begin to make their way towards the egress stairs that surrounded the seating area. "Whoa I think you might be right Kai..." Arcadia commented spotting the clones in the crowd...
Let me know what you'd like to do. Also give me a WIS Check...
Roll #1: 5
Kurstin:
Just as Kurstin was about to make his way back to his designated area, he stopped in his tracks. He felt a strange arcane sensation sped through his body and caused him to visibly shiver. "Are you alri-." the elf he had been speaking with earlier began before stopping mid-question and shivering visibly himself. A few of the others around him, including Ambrose, all had similar reactions. "You all felt that too?" he asked quietly, a bit of concern in his voice. The students around Kurstin all nodded with the same confused look on their face; it seemed that they were only ones who had noticed anything odd or amiss. As the others murmured quietly among themselves and the two headmasters made their way back onto the stage, Kurstin was the only one to notice the faintest hint of movement at the back of the space near one of the tunnels that lead deeper into the catacombs. It looked like (2) humanoids were skulking about...
"Look - back there...somebody's sneaking around in that tunnel!"
(Assuming Kurstin is within 60' of where he sees the humanoids...if not, he will dash 60') Kurstin pulls out a small glass globe filled with an almost fluorescent pink liquid and throws it at the area where he sees the skulking humanoids. (Casting faerie fire)
Fargrim saw he was spotted and quickly moved to the captain. He took a swing with his hammer at the man's knees in an attempt to knock him prone. Attack: 20 Damage: 10
Maneuvers: Trip Attack (Special)
When you hit with a weapon attack, you can expend one superiority die to add the total to the damage roll, and if the target is Large or smaller, it must make a STR saving throw (DC 12). On failure, you knock the target prone.
Kaisaras, spotting the uncanny synchronization of the man and his clones(?), would quickly manacle him and look towards Arcadia with a look of urgency. "Go gather them up. Quickly. Grab who you can to help you out." He didn't shout, but the urgency implied in his tone was dead serious as he went about arresting the clone before him. To the clone himself, he states bluntly, "Now unless you're starting to get a better idea of what it is you and your copies are doing here, I would start talking."

The jittery screams of Yargin flowed over Danse as a summer breeze would. A pleasant smile curled over Danse's lips - another act had begun! The curtains had reopened on the grand stage some called fate - where emotion, desire, cruelty, and whim played equal parts in a nonsensical, cruel, befuddling play.
Danse stepped forwards and took a bow, raising to make eye contact with his quarry. "I admire your attempt to delay the inevitable, Yargin, though I regret to say the show must end soon. Have you finally learned to echo the screams of the children you witnessed your companions torture?" Danse questioned as he slowly stepped forwards, tone as casual as one commenting on the weather. With a flash, each scimitar leapt from its scabbard and began to whirl in the air; Danse's shoulders and torso twisted with each, practiced movement, gathering momentum until the scimitars resembled all but a ward-like blur of dizzying maneuvers and twirling steel. Recognizing his foremost priority to be the guard before him, the agile performer halted before the gangplank - scimitars lashing out against the unfortunate guard who decided to stand in Danse's path.
Bonus Action: activate Bladesong! Action: green-flame blade - Scimitar Attack: 18 Damage: 6. Although unlikely, if another enemy happens to be within 5' of the target, they take 3 Fire damage.
The Captain cried out in pain as as Fargrim's strike whacked him hard in the knees, though he just managed to stay upright. "I'll make you pay for trying to steal me ship!" The Captain bellowed as he took his large saber and attempted to cleave Fagrim in half. Unfortunately, he attacked wildly and got his sword stuck in one of the ships planks! (the Nat 1 he rolled negating his multi-attack feature for this turn!)
Managing to avoid Danse's attack, the Guard closest to the fighter attempted to slash at him but was easily parried by the Danse's spinning blades!
"Stay away! Both of you!" Yargin shrieked shrilly as he pulled out a vial and lobbed it at Danse! It exploded on the gangplank in between Danse and the guard, covering the guard in burning acid!
Danse & Fargrim, you're both back up! Fargrim is adjacent to the Captain & within walking range of Fargrim. Danse is still blocked on the Gangplank by the two guards (standing adjacent to each other)
Danse, due to your Nat 1, DC10 DEX Save or take the fire damage you would've dealt from Green-Flame Blade!
Also Danse, DC12 DEX Save or take 8 acid damage! Half on a success & 0 damage if you beat the check by (5)

"I'll do what I can but it'd help if I knew what their plan was!" she whispered back urgently before quickly moving towards the closest copy. On her way, she pulled the nearest guard along with her.
(Assuming he managed to slip away), Ignoring Kaisaras' question as he broke free from the bard's grasp, the man began to run in the opposite direction of Arcadia and the other clones, down the stairs in the direction of either the stage, an exit or something else...
Kurstin:
A large portion of the room turned towards Kurstin - as he ran forwards towards one of the underground tunnels - after his outburst, even catching the attention of the two headmasters who were explaining the first event on stage. "It shouldn't be too dangerous assuming you- I'm sorry, what was that?" Headmaster Toryr asked the room before spotting Kurstin. As all eyes landed on the young artificer, at the edge of his vision (about 100' ahead), Kurstin could see the distinct forms of two humanoids moving deeper into the tunnel. One, of average height and build, the other, towering with a broad frame; perhaps a Half-Orc or another non-human race?...
Radgar:
The creature let out a ghostly breathe as it moved forward with the shining blade in hand and slashed down in Radgar's direction. Fortunately for the dwarf, his armor held true and managed to repel the strike.
Radgar, you're up!
As a reminder, the darkness currently filling the space is about 30' away. At the end of your turn, it will move 10' closer...

After unexpectedly stumbling while slashing downwards towards the figure's wielding arm, Danse quickly turned the fall into a roll, barely evading the spark of flames of his own creation - though he wasn't quite able to recover by the time Yargin sent his own flask of acid spilling over the wooden docks. Nearly a blur of motion with the rapidity of his dance-like movements, Danse regained his footing and cast a bored glance to the holes seared into his tan-blue robe. He cocked a smile and leveled a scimitar towards Yargin. "You, my friend, have made a mistake. After everything you've done - my robe! How dare you?" Danse laughed, amusement plain in his voice.
With the flick of a wrist, a gleaming scimitar launched into the air! With his vacant hand, Danse reached into a pocket and drew a fistful of gunpowder into his palm, brought the heel of his wrist to his chin, and tipped his head backwards. Whirling around just in time to catch each scimitar in hand, Danse brought the blades together - the sheer momentum causing a spark to ignite the very second Danse exhaled, creating a thunderous crack which shook the very timbers of the ship!
Action - Thunderwave, ideally angled to push the two guards off the 5' gangplank if they fail their saves! Damage: 12 thunder, DC13 Constitution save.
Fargrim yells at the Captain, "I don't give a spit about your ship! I'm here for him and you're just in the way." He pointed his hammer at Yargrin while he yelled at the Captain.
Fargrim will take a swing at the Captain and, if it hits, will use his Crusher feat to push him 5ft towards the edge of the ship hoping to push him in the water.
Attack: 8 Damage: 5
Assuming that misses, he will take another swing Attack: 19 Damage: 4
Fargrim will then move to Yargrin and grapple him using "Action Surge" 13

Radgar ducks as the blade swung out towards him and squeezes hard on the handle of his hammer, mumbling 'Let me be a servant of your will' (Magic Weapon) before swinging the weapon in an arc towards the menacing creature.
Bonus Action: Cast Magic Weapon on warhammer Attack: 25 Damage: 12 Move: back away five from the darkness but won't break melee to provoke OA
Kurstin will dash another 60' towards the shadowy figures, GHOST hovering along with him. "What are you doing back here? This area is not open to the public!" Kurstin bellows, trying to sound authoritative and in charge. He was initially afraid that some his sister's friends had wandered down here, but the size of the two indicated they were adults - and one was huge...
Danse's blast finished off the guard directly in front of him and launched his corpse into the water below. The Guard behind was knocked backwards but luckily found himself prone on the main deck of the ship. Gingerly rising to his feet, he held his saber out defensively (Dodge action), ready to repel the fighter.
Meanwhile, Fargrim's follow-up attack on the Captain missed to the side, but the dwarf used the opportunity to slip past him and charge towards Yargin and attempt to grapple him! The captain, still incense with the trespassers on his ship, managed to nick Fargrim as he went towards Yargin before giving the dwarf a deep slice on his back!
Managing to squirm out of Fargin's grasp, Yargin frantically pulled out a scroll as he took a dagger in his other hand and cut himself raggedly, drawing blood which he then smeared across the scroll...
(@Fargrim, unless I missed something, I think you did three actions last round (instead of two with Action Surge). It seemed from your post that the grapple check on Yargin was more important than the second attack on the Captain. If that's not the case, let me know)
Danse & Fargrim, you're both back up! Fargrim is adjacent to both the Captain & Yargin. Danse, gangplank is now clear and you can reach Yargin with your enhanced movement. The remaining guard would get an AoO on him though as he ran by

The man stopped in place and kneeled at the direction of Kaisaras' magically enhanced word. Safely able to manacle him, the effect of the spell ended and the man looked up to Kaisaras with a sneer. "You're too late. Everything's going according to plan. There's no stopping it now..."
As the adjacent crowd looked on in confusion and worry, Arcadia was moving quickly up the amphitheater, having already dispatched the closest clone and charging towards the next one. Kurstin:
The fading sounds of confused murmurs could be heard as Kurstin dashed ahead towards the two figures. As he reached the edge of the tunnel, he could hear the magically amplified voice of Lord Ornelos, Head of the Acadame, shouting "What is the meaning of this foolishness!" Looking back towards the stage, Kurstin saw that a few students had joined him in his pursuit: two of the elves - Valo & Belerine, the female student from his exam - Sophie - and surprisingly, Ambrose as well. "What? We couldn't let you hunt down whatever made that weird feeling on your own now could we." Snapping his fingers to summon four orbs of light Ambrose asked, "Did your freaky eyes see anything up ahead? It was too dark for us."
The two figures, who had paused for a moment as they seemed to finally notice a group on their tail, began to move quickly deeper into the tunnel. At the very edge of Kurstin's vision, he swore he could see the faintest hint of light up ahead...
(At the moment, they're about 80ft away from where Kurstin and the students who joined him are located)
Radgar:
As the darkness continued to creep ever closer to Radgar, his hammer began to glow faintly as his prayer enchanted his warhammer with sacred energy. Managing to deflect the another blow from the brilliant blade the figure held, Radgar swung at the creature only to find that his strike had not only missed, but somehow seemed stuck within the creature's billowing shroud...
Make a DC10 STR Save to "pull" your weapon free or have disadvantage on your next attack roll (Due to your Nat 1 sorry!)
Kurstin calls out to the other students with him, "There are two figures about 80 feet ahead of us - one larger than normal. They were skulking around in the tunnels when we felt that chill a minute ago...and now they are moving away from us. I haven't seen them do anything wrong, other than being down here in an area off-limits to But with all of these people gathered above us, we must ensure these two are not doing anything to hurt them!"
He moves another 30' closer (now inside 50') and throws a sphere with florescent liquid swirling inside of it. When it hits the ground by the two figures, the liquid inside vaporizes and coats almost everything in a 20' cube with a softly glowing purple glow. (casting faerie fire - DC13 Dex save to avoid it.)
Counting now 8 different clones in his vision, Kaisaras clicked his tongue, kneed the first man in his face before pushing him to the floor. He didn't have the luxury to check what he had planned, or if he even managed to knock him out, as he rushed forward. He pulled out his moon-touched rapier and held it into the air, casting Light to catch his men's and the other guard's attention before pointing at the clones. "Protect the lords!"
Seeing one of the guards collapse into the water below, Danse's blades resumed their usual, whirling dance as the tattooed half-elf locked eyes with the remaining bandit on the defensive. Danse threw the man a wink, speaking a taunt in his usual, lighthearted voice. "Yargin's my quarry, though you'll soon follow - blade regardless."
Pushing past the man without another moment's hesitation, Danse nimbly strode towards Yargin - a grin curled over inked lips. "I would congratulate you for mustering the courage to fight instead of flee, Yargin, though I'm afraid you still don't have the guts." Danse's heel twisted over the wooden dock in a whirl as both scimitars lashed down towards Yargin's abdomen.

"Danse! You take care of Yargin. This Captain apparently wants to die now too." Turning back to the Captain, "Alright, you done made me mad now, boy. I'm gonna kill you and take this ship out of spite." Attack: 23 Damage: 3

The two figures, who had paused for a moment as they seemed to finally notice a group on their tail, began to move quickly deeper into the tunnel. At the very edge of Kurstin's vision, he swore he could see the faintest hint of light up ahead...
Radgar:
Zoldier’s Curse of the Crimson Throne: DM/ Redii || Zoldier's Strange Aeon's: DM

Action - Scimitar Attack: 14 Damage: 8
Bonus Action - Scimitar Attack: 10 Damage: 4
(OOC Sorry - I thought I got two attacks at level 3)
"Danse! You take care of Yargin. This Captain apparently wants to die now too." Turning back to the Captain, "Alright, you done made me mad now, boy. I'm gonna kill you and take this ship out of spite." Attack: 23 Damage: 3
Assuming that hit, Fargrim will expend 1 more superiority dice to try to trip the Captain. Needs to make a DC12 str check to be prone. Also adds 5 to previous damage regardless of save.
