Backstory: Aenorin Wasanthi was born in Silverymoon to Talathar At'esal and Laorithan D'toal. Talathar is a high mage in the Sun Elf community of Silverymoon. Laorithan, Aenorin's mother, is a High Cleric in the Temple of Lathander. At the age of 100, Aenorin was dispatched to the temple in Waterdeep to learn the intricacies of becoming a priest of Lathander. He served for two hundred years and then one day, during leading morning prayers to the Morning Lord, he was visited by Lathander - who ordained Aenorin to become a Holy Cleric.
Aenorin served on several missions up and down the Chionthar River, serving as a healer and holy guard of sorts for shipments from Baldur's Gate to Elturel. These shipments were meant for the Temple of Light in Elturel. Aenorin was able to spend years getting to know the city of Elturel. One his last two trips along the Chionthar, his barge was attacked at night by a band of Orcs. Having beaten them through some harrowing trials, Aenorin thought himself proven. On the return trip, however, the Orcs were supported by a group of Goblins. Unbeknownst to Aenorin, these were not ordinary orcs and goblins. They had been sent by the Cult of the Dragon to disrupt trade. During the ensuing battle, Aenorin's childhood friend - Tal'Lasari - was slaughtered and had his appendages brutally cut off. Going into a rage, Aenorin and the others fought off the goblins, capturing one of them. Through interrogation, they discovered the insidious plans of the Dragon Queen to wreck havoc on Faerun.
Now he seeks out others to set out to stop her disgusting plans.
Harmony was born into a wealthy merchant family in a small port town along the Sword Coast. She lead a fairly normal childhood, frequently accompanying her father as he sailed their goods to larger cities. However, when she was thirteen, one of these shipments was attacked by pirates. During the chaos that ensued, Harmony somehow ended up on the pirates' ship cowering behind a stack of crates, and was not discovered until they were sailing away with their bounty.
After some argument it was decided that she could stay on as a deckhand. It took her some time to warm up to her new companions - she refused to speak to them at all for the first week - but eventually, they became like a second family to her. During her spare time, the ship's resident bard taught her to sing and play music. She was often found up in the crow's nest, not because she was a particularly attentive lookout, but because she loved the way her shanties carried on the wind. Once she was old enough, she was taught how to hold her own in a battle and became fairly decent with a sword.
About two months ago, while docked in Baldur's Gate for an emergency supply run, the ship was identified and boarded by guards. Harmony and a few others managed to escape, though she isn't sure where they went. Most of the crew, including the captain, were arrested. Harmony hitched a ride with a caravan heading inland, eventually ending up in the town of Greenest. Once she was sure she hadn't been followed, she started taking up mercenary work, building a small reputation. Recently, she's been hired by the governor for what seems like a run-of-the-mill job. She's a bit suspicious of working directly with the law, but figures that she's unlikely to be recognized.
This looks great, I am especially interested in a long campaign and I can commit to daily posting as well.

"What are you looking at? Why should I tell you, you that haven't walked in my shoes.." A silvery haired elf that appears sinewy and strong looks at you as you ask questions, about his life, his background, the events that brought him to this spot.
Petmaier Nailo grew up in Tethyr, specifically in Zazesspur, dirt poor and starving most of the early portion of his life. He learned the way of the streets, learned to scavenge and survive on his own. He learned how to fight, to escape, and how to follow your mark. He gained skill in use of a bow and fancies magic as well. He is not proud of some of the things he had to do to survive.
In his younger days he found his way into Helviraena's outskirts, and after a thorough questioning and many promises, allowed to stay. His abilities grew further and he finally gained enough trust and skill to join the Shadow Sentinels, guarding the perimeter of their lands. He feels reassured that he has been welcomed to their society and recognized for his skills. He has visions at night of the horrors that he faced long ago, reliving struggles of his youth. He wishes to put those to rest, and he is trying to figure out how to do that. Lately his dreams have been dominated by Dragons, and their evil, power hungry eyes. He learns of the Zhentarim and their recent connections to his city. He has had contact recently with a Harper named Rostan in Silverymoon whom he knew from years ago, and he is shaken about what he has been asked to do. He received a message by raven and was told to gather information about this association with the Zhentarim if possible. He was promised a position with the Harpers if he wishes, gold as well. He is sorting out what to do and who he can trust, he just wants the dreams with the Dragon eyes to stop.

Her mother had occasionally helped defend the city against external threats and passed on her sense of duty towards the city to her daughter. Althaea learned magic from her parents and was training to become a Spellguard in the hopes of becoming a famed Bladesinger when the dreams began. Character Name: Morgan Amcathra Race: Variant Human Class: Barbarian (Multiclass later with Echo Knight and War Mage Wizard) Background: Waterdeep Noble Backstory:
Morgan's family has permanent rooms in the family villa in waterdeep. His father is the heir, with Morgan in line after him. Morgan has his father's temper in full, which has caused his early life to be turbulent to say the least. He has gotten into trouble with the City Watch more often than not, and has had to be hauled back to his family's villa quite a few times over the years. His father and Morgan have had legendary shouting matches, the two rubbing on each other like salt on an open wound when their tempers are roused. Luckily his mother is a voice of reason and was able to calm both of them down, or things may have come to blows more than once.
These days Morgan works to keep his temper more under control, though his rage is hardly diminished. He tries to focus it though, instead of just lashing out in a fit of temper. He venerates his family's ancestors, and has learned to call on them when he is truly enraged.
Hi, your conception looks really fantastic!! I'd love to be part of a good role-playing focused campaign. I have a character who I used in Keep on the Borderlands, but he's now in a kind of limbo following the end of that campaign. I'd like to start him up over again.
Brevig the Fallen is a Variant Aasimar Paladin. I used standard point buy to create him but I could reroll (I have to look in a binder for the stats, I'll come back with them if this seems workable). Here is his background, which could be shifted to align better with your world.
Brevig the Fallen – Backstory
Brevig’s father is Cyric, God of Lies. His mother was a mortal half-elf who, prey to Cyric’s power of illusion, conceived Brevig a century ago, believing she was making love to her own husband, not to a celestial being. She died in childbirth, and Cyric transported newborn Brevig, a demi-god, to the celestial realm. Cyric’s many offspring form a contingent of guardians, kept mostly for show, as their powers are diminutive compared to the known deities. But when the whim takes him, Cyric sends his cadre of half-mortal offspring to the physical plane to weaken the rule of law, and to spread chaos.
On such a task, Brevig and his brethren were sent to earth to enact a subtle coup of an honest and prosperous ruler, Robert Flor-de-lys. But while on this mission, Brevig fell in love with the Princess Flor-de-lys, Roselynn, who helped him see a great conflict in his own heart. An internal battle raged there, because although Cyric is evil and deceitful, Brevig’s nature is more like his mother’s: truthful and loving. While the Flor-de-lys dynasty fell into darkness, Brevig preserved Roselynn’s life, whisking her away to safety, and together they hid from Cyric’s immortal view. But they were discovered by Brevig’s half-brothers and brought back in magical chains to the celestial realms, and to Cyric’s vengeance.
Roselynn, the object of Brevig’s love and catalyst of his betrayal, Cyric transformed into a rose, which wilted almost immediately in celestial time. On a whim, instead of destroying his son, Cyric stripped Brevig of his celestial effulgence, and banished him, smirking with dark irony, to live as an Aasimar, to learn first-hand the impossibility of preserving mortals from the evil in their own souls, much less, from the powers of chaos. Part and partial to his banishment, Brevig was sentenced by his father to die as a mortal on the material plane either in old age, or by the sword.
Brevig wandered the wilderness for years, mourning Roselynn and blaming himself for her death. Finally, on a distant shore, hopeless and alone, Brevig determined to walk into the ocean and drown himself. However, as his lungs filled with frigid salt water and he fell unconscious, he experienced a mystical vision.
From a thorned stem grows a rosebud, which blossoms brilliantly, filling his vision. The flower gives off a fragrance of light and life, and Brevig sees that it is the very same rose into which Cyric had transformed Roselynn; then it silently explodes and covers all of reality in life, color, and rich fragrance.
Brevig awoke on the beach, reborn spiritually just as his Aasimar body was a physical rebirth. Drawing breath in gratitude, tearful and trembling after his vision, physically spent, but his heart suddenly full and strong, Brevig continued his wanderings, on a quest to understand his dream, and where it came from. He soon met a lone fisherman many leagues southward on the ocean’s shore who quietly worshipped the invisible God, whose existence, until then, Brevig was unaware of. He joined the fisherman in prayer, during which he felt his heart burst in exactly the same way the rose he had seen in his vision had done, and he knew the path he was destined to lead from there. He would do as his father bade him. Although Cyric had said the words in deep sarcasm, they resonated with the power of the invisible God to whom even the celestials were enthralled. Brevig would preserve mortals from the evil of their own souls, and from the external powers of chaos, and most importantly, from the whims of the lesser Gods.
Brevig vowed to lead mortals toward goodness and fight the powers of his father and of chaos. He reaches beyond the celestial realm, to the great invisible God, for support and for his miraculous powers.
Backstory: The story, as it was told to him in pieces over the years, was that he was found, orphaned or abandoned, on the steps of the chapel. Even though he was a human child, the elven community took him in and raised him as one of their own. When he was but a teenager, there was an attempt on his life, causing the death of one of his caretakers. Mother, he called her then. It was clear to him the attempts would continue until they succeeded, so he left in the night, fighting a daily struggle to survive in the slums of Baldur's Gate. He continued his exercises and meditations he learned from the clerics of the chapel where he was found. Someday he will be able to return to a life of normalcy and happiness. But that day is likely far off and best not to think about it until whoever, or whatever, seeks his destruction is discovered and put down.
