Azrael shot a small smile, perhaps a bit of pride in his assessment of the situation flaring up but he didn't outwardly say 'see i told you so' regardless, after the man told what was in the maps themselves, he would take a step forward, and put both hands behind his back. I know not if the rest of my group would agree with what I am about to ask you, nor if there is any surety that the cult is involved, but I would personally like a copy to be made of those maps with such information, if only for my own personal reasons. As you should well know, Bahamut and Tiamat are diametrically opposed, and as such, it would benefit Bahamuts cause to know such things. obviously that will take some time, but if you are willing, I am willing to wait.
Also, it's obviously best for all involved not to mention the 'experiment' so in light of this new information, I would prefer you stay here to make the copies while myself and Harmony see to the progress. While Eadyan can assist you to speed the process up, and you can continue your chat as you do so. I will of course pay you for the maps from my own purse, though I am relatively low on funds, I am sure we can come to an arrangement that is favorable to all. And of course, any information we discover, I am willing to share.

Harmony sighs. She doesn't mind Azrael trying to further the cause of his god, but she isn't about to get roped into it. "Listen, man. If you want to get these maps, that's fine, but I'm not going to sit around for hours while he draws them. I'm going to check on the others and make sure they haven't gotten themselves killed yet. I'll tell them where you are."
Unless Azrael immediately objects or Leosin refuses to draw the maps, Harmony turns to leave. Before she does, she offers a quick smile and tells Eadyan and Leosin, "It was nice to meet you both."
((Just to clarify: The kobold that was attacking Kane and left terrified was the same kobold Petmailer killed when he shot that second time. The one that was at death's door was the first he shot and who was left just bleeding out on the floor during the entire rest of the fight.))
At Milo's House:
Kane's Eldritch Blast puts the bleeding kobold out of his misery. The small creature was in great pain due to the arrow, unable to yank it out, and can only close his eyes in relief when the pain finally stops and he dies.
The white kobold, the one technically still remaining since the only one who's also still alive was unconscious, just keeps on laughing, still under the effects of Nurm's spell. With the flat of his axe, Gunra knocks him out before he can snap out of it, and him and Petmailer begin to tie him up.
"...Friend?" Leyding asks, slowly walking up the stairs. "Are you okay? I smell..." She stops, seeing the dead kobolds and the blood. She runs back to the sofa and curls up there, growling.
At the Temple:
"Of course!" Leosin smiles. "I shall make the copies and have them ready as soon as possible, but please do understand that if you wish for a good map you must wait some time... And your friend here seems impatient." He glances at Harmony, then continues. "If you must go, go. Worry not, I will give you the maps as soon as they are ready, I'm a man of my word."
Eadyan smiles back to Harmony. "Please do visit some other time. It would be nice to have a friendly chat with you both under better circumstances."
"Goodbye. I do hope I did not left a bad first impression."Leosinadds as he says his farewells.
((It will take a little for Harmony (and Azrael) to reach the house. Not much, just another post of the actions there and confirmation of whether Azrael stays or leaves. It's on the other side of town, after all.))

Kane sits down on the floor and takes out a bandage from his bag and wraps it around his wound from the kobold. While sitting, he notices the piece of paper that the priest dropped and picks it up. After reading it, he it’s it inside his jacket and stands back. “Make sure he is tied up tight,” he says to Petmailer. “I hope his mind isn’t too damaged. He could have valuable information.” He then heads down stays to Leyding. “Hey, Leyding. We are all okay. I just have a little cut, no big deal.” He sits next to her on the sofa and tries to rub her head (if she allows it). “We took care of the mean little dragons. Leyding, we came here looking for your father, Milo. We want to make sure he is okay. Do you know where he is?”
Petmailer puts a gag in the kobold sorcerer's mouth and makes sure that his hands and feet are bound well. He searches for the note in the room as well, and then begins to search through the house, room by room. "Where did that fellow disappear to? Must have been a wizard, but looked as though he was in a dark mask, a cultist no doubt. Any clue where he was headed? Perhaps we should move quickly if you do have an idea. We could question this one (he kicks the kobold, but not to cause damage), but I'm not sure he would tell us. What was that thing that came up the stairs?"
He also takes an extra dagger from one of the kobolds. He makes sure the other kobold is bound as well. He retrieves his arrows and puts them back in his quiver. "Do we really need to keep this other one around? It's really the sorcerer that we need I expect. I am not fond of kobolds. Should I put him out of his misery?"
At Milo's House (Harmony and Azrael will arrive after this happens)
Kane, the note reads as follows:
Entry 25:
I hope everyones can find it in their hearts to forgive me if I do end up being proven wrong, but the gods know that progress was never made by not taking risks.
I got news this morning: A female black dragon has been spotted, and it seems that there might be a nest full of eggs on her lair.
After I leave the mask at Candlekeep, I will hire a group of people to slay the dragon and sell me the eggs. My colleagues are already aware of my plan, and I have already told of a place to build the hatchery. I won't be doing this alone, of course, a group of workers have already been hired to care for the hatchlings as they grow up. I won't be the one to raise them all by myself, I'm not insane, but I will be a teacher for them.
The goal will be to not only study the development of chromatic dragons on an enviroment that guides them towards benevolence, but also to test the extent of the mask's effects over a dragon's mind. If successful, this could be the start of an era where we do not have to fear these dragons anymore.
I know this test is insane, but if Leyding has taught me anything is to have hope in the future. This will work, I can feel it.
Leyding is softy growling and whimpering when you go check on her, chewing on the bit's bridle. "I okay" She says, wild growls interrupting her words. "Just... hungry. Not hungry good, hungry bad. It hurts." When Kane pats her head, she stops growling and her tail starts wagging.
When you ask her about Milo, she shooks her head. "Don' know, sorry. Dad went away. Work. He said he will come back. I wait. I good daughter."
She sniffes the air and looks down, at the injury left when the kobold stabbed you. "You hurt. Can I...?"
Before you can even answer, she stands up from the sofa, reaches and puts her clawed hand over it. "Great Mother, can you hear?" She says, she seems to be trying to mimick something she saw once. "Friend is hurt, can I? Heal. Heal friend. Heal Wounds. Heal, please!"
7
She is incredulous when something does seem to happen, regardless of whether she managed to heal the wound or not. "...Did it work?" She asks you, hopeful.
Upstairs, the two captured kobolds are stil unconscious... For now.

After saying their goodbyes, Azrael and Harmony exit the temple, talking on their way there.
After walking past the farmlands and crossing the bridge, you are now standing in front of a small house with no windows and a single entrance door with its two locks open.

But if you don’t like those, I have some rations we can share,” he reaches into his bag and pulls out some rations and offers it to her. When she stands up and heals Kane, he feels..relief. He checks his bandage and finds it fully healed. “You...you know magic? Thank you, thank you a lot,” and Kane hugs her. When Harmony and Azreal come through the door, he realizes the Dragonborn might hurt Leyding. “Oh, hey guys. So..this is Leyding, Milo’s...daughter. Please don’t hurt her. She helped me and I think she’s great.” Kane scratches behind her ear.
Harmony very carefully opens the front door, hand resting on her rapier in case she needs to use it. She lets out a sigh of relief when she sees Kane sitting there with a seemingly peaceful gnoll. Once he finishes speaking, she nods and says, "We heard about her."
Not making any sudden movements, she walks over to the couch and perches on the armrest. "Hi Leyding. My name is Harmony. We're going to make sure you're taken care of until your dad is back, okay?"
Turning back to Kane, she asks, "Is everyone okay? Where are the others?"
Azraels chatter along the pathway was minimal, since Harmony wasn't fond of his way of speaking. But inevitably they made their way to the house, with a soft trail of tail going across any loose dirt where they passed. The dragonborn moving inside carefully, ducking to fit under the doorframe once more, and his draconic head being the first part of him to do so. When Kane speaks, Azraels eyes shift to the teifling, then to the kobold as he pushed the rest of his rather large frame inside so that Harmony could enter. Ah, so you wish me to make it quick then, Kane? he asks, though feelign his attempt at a joke would be missed if he didn't interject quickly with I tease. We know she is harmless, to a degree. And that the governor isn't the only one who knows of her existence. The preist, Eadyan told us as much with how panicked he became at the mention. “We encountered a dragon priest with a black mask, along with some kobolds. The priest got away, but the kobolds were taken care of. We left one alive for interrogation.” He reaches into his jacket and hands Harmony the note. “A black dragon was sighted. Milo is going after the eggs. We find the eggs, we find Milo. The rest of the group is still upstairs, tying up the kobold.” He then looks at Leyding. “Don’t be afraid, Harmony is a friend. She won’t hurt you. The big dragon, however...just don’t make him mad. I’ll make sure nothing else hurts you.” Kane gives her a small hug.
Gunra cocks his head and then shakes it, disagreeing with Petmailer's request.
"They are defeated and harmless - no point wasting them. We release them on the way to their camp, they'll scatter."
Hearing voices downstairs, he drags the still-breathing kobolds down to the living room. He acknowledges Harmony and Azrael with a curt nod before depositing the kobolds in the middle of the room.
"They were gathering a hoard, apparently, and were expected back at camp. They found a map, they said. I don't think the gnoll cub was anything more than a nuisance to them. The white-scaled one is a mage, so he's probably more useful, but it might be dangerous to let him speak. Either way, they can show us where the camp is, and we can release them en route. They're not a threat to us anymore."

Harmony returns Gunra's nod, then turns back to Leyding, trying to keep the girl's focus on her and not the kobolds. "Leyding, can you tell me what you like to do? Do you read? Draw? Sing?"
Petmailer jogs down the stairs, and gives a little smile and a salute of a manner you are not familiar with, index finger to the eyebrow, then to the ear. “Hello Harmony, Hello Azrael. Fine little shit show we’ve been cooking up for you here. These lumps here will hopefully show us to their camp. Let’s make sure Milo didn’t leave us any other little bread crumbs here in his humble little chewed up and bled upon abode. I agree with Gunra, they pose no threat now. The weaker mind might be easier to persuade to share what it knows. I am worried about hte cultist that escaped, we should continue with our investigation.

At Kane's question about the cleric magic she just managed to use, Leyding just stares at her hand, very happy but a little confused. "Eadyan tried to teach me, but couldn' do it. I thought the Great Mother didn' wanted me. First time I could, just to help you friend. I think the Great Mother wanted to help you, too!"
She is immediately terrified by Azrael's appearance and bares her teeth at him, but calms down when she sees that him and Kane apparently know each other. Whe Kane hugs her, she hugs him back. Still scared of the dragonborn, she focuses all of her attention on Harmony. "Are you friend's sister? You look like friend."She asks with a head tilt, pointing at Kane. At her questions, she answers. "I draw! A lot, I draw a lot. But I can' read, don' know, not yet."
At Nurm:
You can detect that the masked cultist teleported at no more than 500 feet from here, but can't pinpoint the exact location he might have taken.
In the room where the cultist and the kobolds were at before the cultist teleported has the size of a bedroom and there's a halfling-sized bed at the corner, but other than that it looks more like a small tinkerer's lab that a bedroom. There's a lab table with a set of alchemist's supplies, syringes, test tubes, a small knife and two large glass jars with fluid preserved dead specimens inside: One is a dead faerie dragon, and the other's a pseudodragon. There's also a single flask of Alchemist's Fire.
On the bed, there's a small pouch. When you open it, you find five gems inside: 1 Blue quartz, 1 Azurite, 1 Eye Agate and 2 Bloodstones.
The two captured kobolds have slowly started to return to consciousness: The white-scaled one is still not quite there just yet, still slowly waking up and his mind's still a little messy judging by the giggles muffled by the gag. The other, red-scaled one opens his eyes, sees you, and starts to panic. "No, no, no...!" He squeaks, trying desperately to break free.

Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.

How did things go at the Temple?” He begins looking around the room, scanning for anything useful.
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
I agree with Gunra, they pose no threat now. The weaker mind might be easier to persuade to share what it knows. I am worried about hte cultist that escaped, we should continue with our investigation.
Arcana roll: 7, trying to identify the properties of the teleporation spell, especially it's range.
If the roll is success and the spell is short-ranged:
The words of power he used, know only short vicinity, the cultist must be nearby. Maybe the mill?
You look like friend." She asks with a head tilt, pointing at Kane.
