Flip goes ahead to the next area

The chamber that opens at the bottom of the stairs is immense. A wide ledge runs along the left wall and drops away to a pit on the right. Many stalactites descend from the ceiling, and the sound of dripping water echoes continuously. There are also three eggs and two guard drakes. 

Waldeyr returns to his own eyes. “Two drake guards ahead. Perhaps I can leave Flip on alert while we rest.” 

“If you’re sure we have time to rest, then let’s see if I can get into this armor.” Thufir says, beginning to unfasten the bindings on what he’s wearing.

Wolfstine "Thats a good Idea. What else did you see Waldeyr? We need every detail, the purple lady I remember her from town when talking to Nighthill while overlooking that chaos. I was tempted to shoot her, but I thought their naïve  brashness would end. I suppose that's why we succeeded in so much, till now."

He says while helping the dragon-bourn but keeping an eye on Katar 

He says to him "Swear yourself to us Katar." He thinks a second "Eh, what should we call our little group? Should it inspire hope or fear,, or both. Dragon spear?" 

Katar doesn't say anything but just nods. 

Fargen eyes bulge slightly at the words 'guard drake'.  "Aye, a bit of rest sounds good before we deal with them and this purple woman.  Though I don't fancy resting in an enemy's quarter. May as well head back outside and come another way.  Can your familiars find another way from the egg chamber to the exit?" 

“I suppose it could, but we’re reaching the edge of my reach to see through my familiar’s eyes.” Waldeyr looks worried about sending it out further

"Just keep em where its at"

Wolfstine decides to check the bedroom hoping their not being flanked course he wouldn't know where the Purple woman was

ooc: Waldeyr could you tell us about the eggs and how many. And the layout of the room please Just from where Flip is at and can see.

 Waldeyr answers Wolfstine’s questions as best he’s able. 

OOC: Wolfstine, you are going back up the tunnel to the previous quarters before the fight? 

 ooc: yes Stealth 9

You go back to the quarters and as you enter, you see a human woman donned in purple armor pointing a halberd at the hole where you're coming from. She's flanked by two guard drakes and she sends them into the tunnel. "Kill them!"

Fargen grumbles, but then cheerfully proclaims "Fight now?  Well good, I was getting tired of waiting."

Everyone else is presumably at the tunnel's entrance and only Wolf is in the tunnel? 

What I gather is Wolfstine is in the tunnel and everyone else is at the entrance in the other room. 

Fargen hears a woman's voice echo down the tunnel and believes Wolf found the cleric.  A bit unsure if the battle will come to them, Fargen heals himself (9 hps), pulls out Cyanwrath's spear, and steps back from the tunnel entrance to prepare for enemies. 

He shouts up the tunnel "Fall back, Wolf!"

The tunnel is narrow enough for only one of the drakes to get through. It moves right up to Wolfstine

Guard Drake vs. Wolfstine - Bite Attack: 13 Damage: 11

Guard Drake vs. Wolfstine - Tail Attack: 23 Damage: 4

The other drake will wait as will the Purple Woman. 

Wolfstine, Waldeyr, Thufir take your actions. 

Thufir runs up to attack the drake who is attacking his companion.
