OOC: I'll say uncorking the bottle is a BA why noy but 'turning it off" is an action. Tricky. If I uncork this sucker it'll smoke by it'll keep smoking and we'll all be heavily obscured again. Oh... DnD you're a cruel fickled mistress..
Once Trixi is free of the door Molle uses her bonus action, highly not by the RAW people FYI but go with it, and uncorks the eversmoking bottle pointing it behind Areon and Erika. A cloud of thick smoke pours out in a 60-foot radius from the bottle. The cloud's area is heavily obscured. Knowing that each minute the bottle remains open and within the cloud, the radius increases by 10 feet until it reaches its maximum radius of 120 feet Molle will stand there while everyone flees on their turn holding her action to cork it and run after Trixi has cleared the alley.
*The cloud persists as long as the bottle is open. Closing the bottle requires you to speak its command word as an action. Once the bottle is closed, the cloud disperses after 10 minutes. A moderate wind (11 to 20 miles per hour) can also disperse the smoke after 1 minute, and a strong wind (21 or more miles per hour) can do so after 1 round.*
The smoke spreads quickly between the party and their pursuers as the kitchen and into the tavern fills with smoke!
"Fire! Fire," they hear the cook yell as the two halfling women appear choking and coughing pushing through Erika and Areon in the alley startled by the party again!
"Whatever you think you can get away with don't try it! Run," the brunette says taking the hand of the blonde younger halfling as they run off.
Daggers uses his action to pull out the arrow and makes an off handed blind attack by the door where he last saw Areon and Erika.
Attack: 23 Damage: 2
If hit a d6 will determine who: 1-3 is Areon but 4-6 Erika 3
Six other attacker make it into the kitchen full movement towards the familiar exit but use their action trying to find anyone in the smoke.

Ted prepares to run, slightly concerned that the others won’t be able to keep up. He bolts for his life, chuckling at the hijinks they’ve got up to - now THIS is living.
"I may have popped into the Horn," Ragnar begins, "but we never made it to Duncan's. Candor told us it was for old timers who wanted to sit by a fire and talk about the good old days."
A large smile spread across, Ragnar's bearded face.
"Had we known, I would have been the first one through the doors."
Ragnar looks at Zira, trying to appear more somber.
"The best raiding crews in my village weren't the best because they were the strongest or the quickest with the axe. They were the best because they were one. They were closer than family. They slept together. They ate together. They rowed together. They pissed together. And they fought together."
Ragnar looks around the streets and listens for the sound of fighting.
"If they're in trouble, and they survive, that is good."
He claps his hands together and turns his head up to the sky and bellows at the clouds.
"Av Stormherren," he shouts then looks over at Zira and Gen-ga. "Where is this Duncan?"
Somewhere in the near distance Timbergrove fills with ringing bells as "fire...Duncan's is on fire" is shouted by various people in the distance. Zira looks at Gen-ga who looks back. The two then take off not even pausing to see if Ragnar is following as they sprint passed the Horn and straight for the alley where Duncan's is shielded from the main through fair.
One can assume the patrons stuck in the tavern sent people to seek help to put out the apparent fire in their kitchens...

"Brand. Brand." Ragnar shouts as he runs, forgetting the common word for fire in the excitement.
At home the entire village leapt into action at the first hint of a fire. Left unchecked it could destroy an entire season's work. Here, with how close the buildings were together, a fire could spread through the whole city. Many would die.
As they run closing the distance between them and the alley where Duncan's sits Zira, Gen-ga, and Ragnar can not see ablaze in the pokey little tavern known as Duncan's. The front of the tavern in a side alley off the square however is now clogged by onlookers all clamoring to see where the fire is to help or gawk which is nowhere to be seen from the square!
Ted 30 ft ahead of everyone...
A stranger in Timbergrove Ted turns a corner to the left unable to continue straight or right the rest of his 90ft unless he plans to run into a building head-on or climb! He sees a bunch of crowded buildings with no lights. Ted is no longer in combat range. Please roll perception.
As Ted blows past Erika it's Areon who catches up with her first. They both see Ted continue to sprint and disappear to the left a dead-end to their right!

Ted pauses to look behind him, realising he’s left them in his dust. He looks around, thankful for his fey-touched eyesight, he wonders if humans are so hateful because they are practically blind. ... Jealousy is a killer.

OOC: Give me a survival check to see if he can reorient himself back to the square.
Molle sees Ted take off like a shot then caps the bottle with her command word leaving the lingering smoke obscuring their escape. Using all her movement she sprints 30ft after her companions motioning for Trixi to follow. "Don't worry! Just keep up," calls in a lowered tone then action surges and sprints another 30ft catching up with Erika and Areon.
Trixi is up.
OOC: If everyone's 'escaping/abandoning combat' we can move on from initiative order and go to post at will.

Not seeing any sign of a fire, Ragnar slows down and takes in the sight in front of him. If Duncan's really is home to this Omnipotent group they won't have a clue who he is, but they may recognize Gen-ga and Zira on sight.
"Why don't you two stay to the shadows," Ragnar says. "The Omnipotent could recognize you. I'm not wearing anything to mark me as part of the Institute. I'll work my way into the crowd and see if I can spot your missing children."
Ragnar then tries to make his way to the front of the crowd, careful not to step on any toes as he does.

If he sees them coming around the corner, he will beckon them over and start walking. Pulling out his disguise kit, he also tries to find a private area where they can regroup and put on some crude make up to disguise themselves until they arrive at the original tavern they were staying at.
Gen-ga and Zira nod in agreement with Ragnar to stay out of sight.
"Ragnar," Zira says in a lowered whisper. "Erika Grimsdóttir your countrywomen is among them," she begins again, "and...well Ted Dreadbane," she adds frowning still. "I know you must know them but...Ted well he's the second most recognizable one among the party," she adds as Gen-ga tried not to chuckle knowing how mad Zira is by the look of her! Gen-ga stands stoically beside Zira taken up her hand as the fey touched half-orc sighs loudly. "I'll never let them out of my sight again," she growls.
Ragnar sees no sign of fire as the crowd begins to disperse by the night's watch. These guards look apprehensive about entering Duncan's then Ragnar spots a gray dwarf and a blue elf barring the entrance of the tavern moving everyone, even the night's watch, along.

They were free and outside. Trixi did not understand why Ted left the group behind, but was going to stick to the others - Erika, Molle and Areon. "I think we had enough bonding. Lets just return to the Inn." She would not leave the group but would encourage everyone to go back to their place.

Erika continues with the rest of the group, sprinting after Ted. As she catches up, breathing heavily, adrelelin still pumping, the look of anger in her eyes breaks and she starts laughing. "Ted... you... you hoffnar! Never again will I go with you without shield, axe, and every piece of armor I can strap on."
"We cannot delay. If they decide to chase, they will find their way to the alley soon enough."
Ragnar approaches the entrance to Duncan's and greets the grey dwarf and blue elf.
"Hälsningar," he says to them both in way of greeting, with a wave of his hand. "I heard there was a fire. Was anyone hurt? I have some experience tending to wounds. I can help."
He tries to sneak a peak past the pair while he talks, looking for any sign of the missing party.
