Talion grins and laughs at the warrior and, feeling a little more secure in the brick antechamber, he nods, "Just go. I'll take a moment to recover then follow..."
Talion will cast False Life: 7. He looks back into the smoky rooms and blades behind him, and just wants to, finally, be out of the house. It has done is worst but together they have survived, and he feels confident that Sho -- and even Onyx -- will save him if he falters at the last step.
Summoning up the energy for one final leap, he bolts through the blades.
Erven tries to help from the other side, helping to pull Onyx, Talion and Lucky Bear through, trying to assist from the other side so they avoid the blades. “Come on, the house is falling in on itself!”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Onyx bulldozes ahead, trying to shield Lucky Bear from the onslaught of whirring metal. Again, the bulkiness of Lucky serves to stymie his departure. Take 14 As you fall out the front door to safety...
Talion, you look around and reflect for a moment - a second, really - before following the paladin out. Like Onyx, however, you also are hit by the blades. Take 17 Slashing damage as you too tumble out onto Onyx and Lucky Bear to the relative safety of outside the house.....
You all watch as Talion falls, unmoving and unconscious and bloodied as he exits the house....
Lucky is protected by Onyx and suffers no damage. Lucky Bear runs to Talion and whines and barks. She then runs to Erven and bites his cloak and tries to pull him towards Talion......However, as you look at her, she changes. Her forms shimmers as fur and flesh fall in clumps to the ground. Where a cute beagle once stood is now a skeleton of a dog - though Lucky Bear doesn’t seem to mind or notice.....
Lucky Bear wags her tail and barks - she seems happy. She tries to lick Talion’s face but all it looks like to him is a skeleton face trying to bite him, as she has no tongue. XD
Erven kneels over Talion, helping him and trying to bind his wounds. Eventually he stands and then looks over to Lucky Bear, he crumples to his knees again, overcome with emotion, crying at the transformation of the dog into this skeletal being, unnatural and apparently - undead.

Onyx drops to one knee as Lucky Bear slips from his grasp, blood seeping from the gaps in his plate. He's seemingly oblivious to the state of Talion for the moment, stunned, perhaps by the last set of blades and their bite. He spares a glance upwards at Lucky Bear, and at Bertolt's quick field work.
"Undead. Pitiful."

Bertolt sits back as the potion is given, moving to open his bag. He thinks of the books and other things he had gathered from the house, checking to see if they have been affected by them leaving. "Leave the dog be. A skeleton dog is not the least bit strange after that house..."

Sho goes to help Talion up. He gives the skeletal dog an inquisitive dog, then turns back to examine Talion's wounds. He hands the healing potion back to the man. "Look after your own dog." Not looking at the elf, but clearly directing at him, he says harshly, and cold. "Don't always expect others to clean up your mess."

All the books you took, Bertolt, ate significantly aged to the point of crumbling. In fact, many things that you have taken have started to age rapidly or are turning into dust. Anything magical is fine. But Onyx, the plate mail taken has started to rust and crumble and soon you’re left nearly naked. It is only then do your companions notice your very injured state and bloody and battered body.
Talion wakes mid scream remembering the blade that unexpectedly hit his shoulder. He reflexively ducks the imagined blow, feeling the pain again, then looks around. His vision is blurred and his focus narrow.
The first thing he sees is a skeletal dog, fur and skin still clinging to its face, only inches away from his own face. The dog is behaving very strangely, but the markings look familiar and it doesnt seem to be attacking. He backs away in horror. Am I dead? He looks at his hands, which seem normal, then the sound of the blades draw his attention. Not dead. Outside.
As his perception widens he feels the hands working on his wounds and hears Bertolt's familiar and strangely comforting voice. The usually unflappable bard sounds angry but not alarmed. What's he worried about?
Looking around for whatever it is that has upset the old scholar, he catches sight of Sho nearby and grins. Spitting blood he starts to laugh, then winces and spits more blood. He finally manages to take in the scene and nods in satisfaction.
Talion stands up with help from Sho's and looks around for a place to sit, a little further from the house. Seeing the smoke billowing, he just stares for a time. "Was going to burn it down. Looks like I've been saved the trouble."
Erven looks shocked when Onyx's plate armor melts away. Remembering his revulsion with his near naked state, how he hastily tried to cover his forearms and skin after awakening from their nightmare when all of this began, Erven takes off his cloak of protection and puts it on Onyx to cover his skin, his modesty.

Bertolt curses as the books begin to look like this, making sure to carefully set them back in the bag and close it. If he had the right surroundings and people he would have been able to do something, but here all he can do is keep them away from harm. "Well that makes me very angry.... Can we find out way back to the caravan? I think I am done with adventuring for a time.'

Onyx accepts the cloak, though he wraps it around his arms instead of his torso. They were still mostly covered by the rags that were his tunic, but the gesture was appreciated. He doesn't seem to fixate on the dog for very long, instead sitting on his haunches as he gazes towards the ruined mansion.
Lothar
Onyx tries to quiet his mind and reach out for the presence he had 'befriended'. Has it vanished? What kind of feeling does he get when he tries to fixate on that 'inner voice'?

Talion stumbles out of the blades and collapses to the ground unconscious(( Lol, nvm ))
"One of you heal him or give me a potion this instant!" Bertolt calls out in a sharp and commanding tone as he goes to kneel next to Talion.
Erven rushes over to Talion's side, turns him on his back, and opens up a healing potion, putting it down his mouth. He heals him for 4 points.

Everyone but Talion roll an intelligence check - or religion if you’re proficient. [Talion you were unconscious so couldn’t see anything really.]
