You notice that the blob is not moving not trying to attack. It is slowly growing as if something is being made inside of it. You can also tell that you could get a hand hold on the star fragment to try and pull it free.
Mist peers at the pulsing blob and bites his lip before giving a nod of self-reassurance.
"Freb...?" he ask of his voluminous companion.
Freb the cloud golem, as if perfectly understanding Mist's meaning, lumbers up and plunges a hazy hand into the giant booger in an attempt to remove the star fragment.
The Thorn-Shade-Mother begins to immediately dry up and contract, shrinking into a hardened black lump, Mist pokes at her and she crumbles to dust. The curse immediately begins to lift from Mahna Kio. The overgrowth of the jungle begins to shrivel and fade, and infected creatures return to normal. Within the tree itself, the rot recedes and the odor of decay vanishes, swept away by a gentle breeze.

"Glad to be done with this, head back to city and await our fate." Kraven says as he looks around the room to see if there is anything else of worth around.
You find in the "body" of the Thorn-Shade Mother the original body of The Voice of the Mother. TFO takes a charm from around the neck of the corpse, "A keepskae. Take what he has he won't be using it." You find his coin purse with 12 gold, 6 silver and 95 copper. You also find his original dagger, the hilt of it is made of bone, and the blade is black. His armor looks a little worse for wear but it is base leather armor, it's not beyond repair but it would not be fully functional in the current state.
Your way back is rather uneventfull, you find a beautful island under all of the former dead. Once you return to the city the Oahtu people begin to give items to you some resemble coins others are pearl chips and some very small gems also when you return to the castle the queen has a small chest with more wealth in it. In total it is about 710 gold, 1529 silver and 1546 copper. And you are approached by an Oahtu.
As you return, you are approached by a Oathu male carrying a spear, wearing a simple brownish green vest, and chitinous bands accentuated with shells on his four arms, holding his arms out in a welcoming manner. Behind him you see a female queen and 29 additional Oahtu, looking on in curiosity. The Oahtu moves in an alien and disjointed but smooth manner that shows ease of movement and grace. When he approaches you, you notice that he alters how he walks and attempts to walk in a more... human manner.
"Welcome, welcome! My name is Kuatho, we have heard of your deeds and we would welcome you! None of us are infected, I promise. We would like to see how we can help you, we are builders and tinkers." He leans in close and says "Other Oahtu may think we are crazy, but we would like to adventure beyond Mahna Kio and see the world, to see what is out there, to learn how to help our colony. I could help you, work with you and earn my way...I have earned a reputation in my colony of being a fighter, a healer and a builder, I do have skills. Do you - have a ship? A means to travel? Would you be willing to take us?"
As you talk and converse among yourselves, Kuatho is keenly observing you, at times mimicking your motions, movements, habits, without being aware that he is doing so.
The halfling Mist, once again being carried by Freb the cloud golem (think a full-bodied Krang from TMNT), crosses his arms and peers at the newcomer skeptically.
"Seems t' me we just spent no small amount o' time an' energy keepin' a buncha yis from leaving the island with the Booger Mother in tow, innit. Now yeh want us t' jus' invite yis along, then?"
He stares at Kuatho for a protracted moment before shrugging his little shoulders with an, "Eh... Why not? Suppose yis won't take up too much space on the boat. Jus' try not to get stepped on cuz I can't guarantee the rest of the crew'll be lookin' down. So...," he looks around. "I'm used to bein' small but I'm right fed up wit' bein' this small. How do we go 'bout gettin' set right again?"
Kraven, being as perceptive as he is, notices Mist seems to have put on some weight since they got to the island. His pant legs and sleeves seem slightly shorter and there looks to be bits of green peeking out around his hairline.
Kraven nods his head at the Oathu and shrugs, as he doe snot really care. "When get back to ship, can stay with me. Is there a house you want to bring with you? Once big again, I an grab it and carry back to ship." As he says this he notices Mist looks different.
When they are traveling back to the ship, Kraven asks, "Mist you feeling ok, look different?"
"Different, ya say?" He frowns and looks down at himself, suspended in an animated, anthropomorphic cloud. "I feel right as rain. Although some o' last night's shenanigans are comin' back t' me an', were I capable of feelin' shame, I imagine I'd be experiencin' it right about now." He shrugs again. "These rags are lookin' a bit worse for wear, though. Might need to invest in some new duds once we get outta here."
Looking to Kuatho and the gathered Oahtu, he inquires again. "So, about that 'bigification' magic... How's that work, exactly?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kuatho you would know that you need about a 5x5 foot area, but that would grow to about 10x5.
You all travel back to the beach where you ship is docked, and you all get on the ship. Kuatho provides the ritual to return everyone to their normal size, he also grows to about x feet y inches (please fill in with about how tall he is in his medium size). And you all set sail placing the 2 star fragments in the compass (I'm saying that Gintarou took the fragment out and keep the staff), and you set sail. Varlan comes with the compass pointing out that while the general direction of the compass stays the same it does move in new directions at first very small but after about a week or 2 the change is more drastic, when you reach the strange waters of the Labryne Basin. The changes becoming more extreme and more random. Off in the distance you see a ship flying the colors of the Blackrift, being chased by a storm. You see a dozen other ships behind the storm, each fighting off the storm the best it can. You try to avoid the Blackrift, but it is no use. An immense galleon is the lead ship, the storm does not effect it as it gets with 60 feet of us, and the storm engulfs our ship now. This ship is the Axe of Kragwal, this ship is known as the pride of the Blackrift Navy, dozens of banners flapping in the storm show that this is not a rumor. In the middle of the ship stands a giant of a man, who needs no introduction Admiral Stehl, known for being ruthless, he has been seen killing his own men who were simply questioning an order.
Another form over shadows him, standing on the prow of the Axe is a far elf, resembling members of the Iron chain. He looks to be both a scholar and religious leader, and he watches.
The Axe finally gets with in range of our ship, and 6 salors throw grappling hooks and try to climb across.
Kuatho reaches into a pouch around his waist, brings out a few components which he mixes in his hands, and then snorts them. "Jahrida, blessed one, first learned the way of this embiggen potion to make us larger, to allow us to explore the island. Now we keep the essential components of it mixed together in a bag, we crumble the pieces in our hands and make it into a fine powder and then snort it in our mouthparts and touch with our antenae to have the same effect, moreso even. You would rub these together and snort it up your nose. Great mother Jahrida learned that the wings of the Hadoa are key to our ability to increase in size, that is a vital part of our mixture." He hands to each of you the necessary components, demonstrates and explains to Mist the procedure and helps with it.
Kuatho performs the procedure as he discussed, and in the span of 5-10 minutes he grows to approximately six feet 1 inch in size. He tests his limbs and makes a series of movements after he enlarges, it would look like a stretching routine, but it is odd with his double-jointed insect limbs, stretches and movements you haven't seen before, almost looking like an insect yoga routine.
