Sharkbite gives you the airbag, and offers 2 things to you, "If you're looking for something you wont eat anywhere else try Sam’s Favorite Shark Steaks, deep sharks, they make for better meat, and harder to get to you from the top. If you're looking for a treat, we have seaweed foamed chips. 6 and 1 silver accordingly."
I will assume that the crew is down for the game plan of Jecob compeating. There are 5 other competitor, Caspian (the Merrow) Hesperos (the sharkkin) another Merrow, female, who looks like he might be part of the gang you have been fighing (no other memebers seem to be present) a male mermaid, and a female merfolk.
How we are going to play the game.
So how we are going to do this game will be a lot different than we would if we were in person. Im going to roll all of the checks needed for the other people, then I will ask you to roll 11 checks, do not add anything to the check but rather after the roll reslut just put str 5, dex 2, con 3. I have made the rolls for the others and will post the results when I get Jecob's rolls
Kraven orders both and after eating them at the bar making small talk with Sharkbite. He will proceed to ask Sharkbite about anything going on in the city and if there are any areas where newcomers should stay clear of and any nefarious elements to stay away from. As he askes this he will make some hand signals using thieves cant to see if Sharkbite acknowledges the signal or not. If nothing comes from his signal he will order more of the treats and steaks for the party, leaving 10g to Sharkbite the the conversation and excellent food, bringing them back to the table for those of them who want to try.
Sharkbite does confirm that the Marlobo Gang is the biggest criminal organization in the area (not the city), as far as things to do in the city. "Right now there is so much to do, Swimming with the Bull Sharks should be within the next few days. Every restaurant in the city has stuff going on, not that I'm trying to chase off customers, just saying that if you have a lot of gold, and are not from around here trying new things might be the way to go. Orpheus Oceania and his plesiosaurus, performs I think 2 or 3 times a day for the rest of the week. The Abysmo Junior Race is tomorrow, its a fun showing of youth seahorse riders. The weekends with Luana coming in for a performance, at the end of the Grand Prix.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"All those sound very interesting and if my friends and I have time to we will seek them out, thank you." Kraven says to Sharkbite.
"Once back to the party he will whisper to them, we have rooms here and we can stay here, for the night. However I am not so sure we will be safe, as those one we killed earlier are the biggest thugs in the area. WE might find it in our best interest to move to another tavern outside their control and then continue on with our mission. If we stay here I highly suggest we keep watches." He will then look at Mist, Jecob and Kuatho, then continues speaking in their minds, "We can communicate this way for several hours if we need to raise any alarms we can do so silently, regardless of any language barriers."
Psychic Whisper: 7 Hours
Psionic Power: Psychic Whispers
As an action, choose up to 3 creatures you can see, and then roll one Psionic Energy die (1d8). For a number of hours equal to the number rolled, the chosen creatures can speak telepathically with you, and you can speak telepathically with them, as long as you are within 1 mile. You and the creature don’t need to speak a common language to understand each other.
The first time you use this power after each long rest, you don’t expend the Psionic Energy die. All other times you use the power, you expend the die.
Kuatho sends back to Kraven, “Thank you, I don’t’ feel so well. I need to rest, at least for 3 or 4 hours or so. That drink destroyed me. It made me feel, how do you say, poisoned? Let’s keep watch, or get away from here if we can.”

There is no entry fee, the female mermaid with no tail riding the Manta ray speaks up before the game starts.
"Welcome to the annual Air Barrel Contest!" She pulls out a sack of sea gold, and tosses it on to the deck floor. "I along with my crew have managed to put together this purse of 50 gold for the winner. Along with a donation from Silver Fin, the best clean house in all the oceans. Now the rules are simple, you hold your barrel below the lowest mast yard the longest you win! Captain, have your men bring the barrels out." and 6 ghosts haul 6 barrels out one to each person, each barrel is tied to a cannon. Jecob you see the other contestants get over the barrel, then prepare to swim down with them, Jecob you do the same. On the command of Commander Artimesia Faulistus (the finless mermaid) the ghosts pull on the rope holding the barrels to the canons and they are starting to push to the surface.
Right away Caspian and the female Merfolk lose their hold, Caspian loses some ground but recovers quickly, the merfolk on the other hand, just barely catches it to only let it go again and she is out. Jecob not being ready or knowing what to expect does not get a good push ready, the crowd laughs a little, but he is then able to push it back down. Hesperos distracts himself by laughing. Once Jecob has full control of the barrel the male mermaid looks over and is shocked by how well Jecob is doing and loses his balance and is completely unable to recover, getting knocked out just after the female merfolk. The Gang member has a moment of falter as she watches the mermaid swim up for the barrel, but quickly recovers. Hesperos looks back and laughs while watching the mermaid get out but that causes him to lose control, he is able to get back over the barrel and hold it some more. Caspian starts to breathe heavily and attempts to swim down again, but rather, his muscles give way and he is lifted with the barrel up. Hesperos laughs again at his friend for losing and in turn loses his grip again and the barrel is gone. After a minute just Jecob and the gang member are left. The two lose their grips at the same time and the barrels go swimming upward, the gang member grabs Jecob pulling him down, she does so in such a way that most can not see, this gives her the advantage she needed to grab her barrel long enough that Jecob’s barrel crosses the yard first.
The crowd erupts with excitement, and cheers. Artimesia Yells out “And we have a winner, a member of the Marl…” and she is cut off by Sharkbit, the two talk momentarily, then Artimesia speaks up again, “Check that, there was some cheating that went on. Our winning is from dry land, please give them an even bigger cheer than you gave the cheater!” And the commander hands Jecob the sack of gold.
Kraven before the contest you see so much money getting exchanged between people, one person in particular a merfolk man is only taking money, and giving out slips of seaweed paper. After the contest only a few people come back to him and trade out their seaweed paper for coins, very large payouts, but still nothing compared to what he was given.
Kraven cheers loudly for Jecob and the other contestants as he moves about the room, slowly making his way towards the man. Grabbing a slip of paper and writing something on it as he moves. He approaches his mark and slips past him reaching his feathered hand inside his pocket and then moves along.
Sleight of Hand: 31
Not planning on stealing anything but leaving the slip of paper in a pocket where he had his gold which reads,"One who holds so much money should be better keep track of who is around and watching."
If my roll goes badly, then we can see what happens.
After the man wraps up he reaches his hand into his pocket and sees what it says, then motions for a pait of Sharkin who swim over and he starts to yell at them, what you are able to hear and tell is they did not do their job very well.
Jecob: "I may have started out on dry land, but after my rebirth (into a water genasi) my home is the sea. A most excellent contest!"
Out of the winnings, he spends 10 GP:
5 servings of Stick’s Rummage (one for each of the other contestants)
40 servings of Testing Fate for the crowd
5 sp for Artimesia and Sharkbit (tip the hosts)
"My crew and I salute the audience, enjoy your beverages." (Butter up the crowd, in case there are more gang attacks in the future.)
(To the rest of the party, in a quieter voice.) "Is anyone watching that last gang member who tried to cheat? I'm wondering if they might try something else, especially with me carrying this pouch of coins."

After getting the Kraken Slick you approach the trench, poisonous cloud blots out the ocean vista like an inky thunderhead. At the edge of the abyss, nothing can be seen in its depths except the darkness. The sense of menace is almost suffocating. You descend into the trench, you become entirely enveloped in darkness. The glimmering lights of Tesora d'Mar soon fade.
After a short time the glow stones are starting to light the way, this is now low light vision. You come across a few cave like areas that allow you to break you are about 4 hours into swimming down the trench and come across another one of these caves, and out comes a beast, it’s back half is a squid the body is that of a shark, at the neck it splits, giving 2 more heads, an eel, and a grayish look fish with sharp teeth. Almost at the same time a second one swims into view. (Roll 20 is up, these are based off of chimera but in the water so that is the token I used to represent them.)
