“What does this compass actually look like? It would help if we know exactly what it is we are to be hunting down in what could be a swarm of angry sharks, instead of just going in blind and hoping we stumble upon on it.”
(Sharks aren't bad) Gintarou thinks. (If you cook them quick and properly, they taste good)
>>Cendrail,Zandeyr
"Thank you for your generosity,Cendrail-dono" The young warrior bows to the old wizard deeply. "Please be reassured and wait for the good news. I promise that we will not let you down."
Gintarou waits until Cendrail is distracted by something then whispers to Zandeyr. "Hey. Can you ask the young lady to rent us a cart when we pick the food? I've a feeling that you are awfully good at asking people's favor"
When Tordek enters the wizard's laboratory he is amazed, by the amount of alchemical and magical equipment. Trying to be polite he carefully listens to what the old man has to say, but it is hard for him to not get distracted by the wonders of the tower. When he sees the orerary for the first time, his fascination is even stronger than in the laboratory. He approaches it closer and raises his hand wanting to touch it. Suddenly he stops and back off, as if someone forbade him from touching it. His focus shifts back to the old man.
Oh, right, get to the temple and bring back the compass. Seems straightforward.
Not the most noble quest, but better than nothing, thinks he.
When he sees the rest of the party gathering he joins them.
“I haven't found a drawing of it yet, just descriptions but it is made of gold, and has a fragment of an old star in the middle of it. It is shaped like a star but not a perfect star.”
“The temple is to the north east from here. I would think about a 4 or 5 hours walk.” He has given you a map with its location.
At the request of a cart, Beni gets angry and starts to talk about all the things that she has to get done, and how you're getting paid for the job, get one yourself.
At that you all set off walking to the old temple, you start out by following the main road, you're about two and a half hours out of town when a crossbow bolt hits the ground at the feet of whoever is in the lead. A man steps out from the left side of the path, and a woman from the right, the man holding a short sword, the woman holding a longsword.
The woman speaks “If one wishes to pass there is a toll, 2 silver… Each.”
Gintarou waits until Cendrail is distracted by something then whispers to Zandeyr. "Hey. Can you ask the young lady to rent us a cart when we pick the food? I've a feeling that you are awfully good at asking people's favor"
Zandeyr lifts his head up, up, to look at Gintarou. "Well aye, laddy. No harm in asking. But, do ye think ye will fit?"
When next he sees Beni, Zandeyr saddles up next to her, all smiles. "Beni, dear sweet Beni!", he drawls. Sighing in rapture, he seeks her hand in a gentle grip. "Gods, even the name tastes sweet on the tongue! Beni, ye rare, young-eyed, truepenny! Centrail's in such need of this relic, such great need. Sure as sunrise, he'd want us to have everything we'd need to fetch it for 'em, wouldn't he? And right now we've a need for a cart. Be a good lass. Ah, as if there were any other way for ye to be! Fetch us a cart. No, Cendrail wouldn't hear of takin' our coin for it. You know what a kind soul he is."
Frowning as Beni rebuffs his advance, Zan shrugs. "Well, what can I say, Gintarou? Some women's like sailless ships--they don't respond to hot air."
Undaunted, he tries his tricks again on the guardswoman.
"Me dear!", he drawls. Sighing in rapture, he seeks her hand in a gentle grip. "Ye rare, young-eyed, truepenny! We's but poor pilgrims en route to visit our auntie. She's right sick with a pox. Needs help with her goats, she does. Won't ye be a doll and let us pass?"
Deception: 24(I don't know what's going on with this dice roll).
Noticing the two stepping our from within thew woods Kraven swears at himself for not noticing them earlier and plans on being more diligent while traveling.
He will then step to the side and will knock an arrow to his bow cocking his head to the left so he can fully see the woman and will fire if her manner becomes threatening.

>>Zandeyr
"Never mind buddy. Even a dragon drops from the sky. Luckily we don't have to walk for long time" Gintarou pad Zandeyr's shoulder to comfort him.
As the party marched to the temple. A crossbow bolt hit the ground not too far from Gintarou's feet. The giant has seen quite a lot of arrows flying toward him in his life. So he calmly scratches his jaw and moves slightly left to cover his friends with his massive body. While watching the bard try to deceive the couple with interest, Gintarou shows them the glaive in his hand. Silently telling the couple that if the negotiation goes south it's the menacing polearm's turn to speak.
From her spot in the back of the group Druquilla takes note of Kraven's movements and does much the same, drawing her own bow off her shoulder and nocking an arrow. While impressed by Zadeyr's silver tongue Druquilla still remains weary. Keeping her eyes on the man on the right Druquilla moves slowly to the side enough to get a clear line of sight without arousing any hostilities.
"Hmm... I believe that we have the money you seek~" Zenix holds in his hand a half-shaved stone, resembling a coin. Using his Deception, he quietly puts a spell on the coin to appear the exact worth of 2 silver coins.
"We have need of 2 of the 16 coins that you owe us. And less of a sick Aunt, if you truely wish to get to her quickly you will pay our toal." The woman speaks again.
Noticing the members of the group getting into ready postures the male asks "Are you sure you wish to do this?" At that 2 crossbow boalts fly one at Gintarou, and the other at Druquilla, and an arrow from a bow is launched at Kraven.
Attack: 17 Damage: 7 Gintarou
Attack: 8 Damage: 2 Druquilla
Attack: 23 Damage: 10 Kraven
2 of the archers are now visable. the third is not, but you know they are to the right and infront of you all.
And 2 giant weasels come out from a bush and let out an odd hissing like noise.
(Reminder on how we are going to take actions, they just took a suprise round, the man's line was to attack. So we are now in round 1, everyone takes their turn with-in the next 24 hours. 24 hours from now or when I see that everyone has taken their turns, the monsters will take their turns, do not take your second action until the mosters have taken their actions, I will post the success or failure of attacks as I see them.)

Zan leaps forward, sliding a longsword from its scabbard as he runs. "This here's me auntie," he cries, brandishing the blade. "You'll find she has quite the temper! Ain't that right, laddy?" He slaps Kraven on the shoulder. "Now shake it off. An arrow ain't like to slow ye down, is it?"
(Bardic inspiration on Kraven: within 10min, add 1d6 to any one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw. This can be added after seeing the roll, but before knowing the outcome.)

Kraven cries out in pain and falls to the ground but then gasps with fresh breath as he gets healed form Zan. He stands up and then will fire at the man who has been speaking.
Shortbow: Attack: 25 Damage: 7
And then will fly up 25' into the tree canopy, trying to get behind a tree trunk.

The crossbow bolt hits the Gintarou's chest and penetrates his chain armor. But the thick muscle prevents the bolt head from reaching his heart. The young warrior makes a grin which is similar to a snarling wolf.
"……That's itchy!"
Gintarou charges at the woman with a crossbow, swinging his glaive down to her head.
Attacks the woman with a crossbow.
Glaive: 26 Damage: 11
Bonus Attack: Attack: 18 Damage: 8
Polearm Master - Bonus Attack
When you take the Attack action with a glaive, halberd, quarterstaff, or spear, you can use a bonus action to make a melee attack with the opposite end of the weapon that uses the same ability modifier as the primary attack and has a damage die of d4 (bludgeoning).
Also, if an enemy enters Polearm Master's reach(5feet), it will provoke an opportunity attack.
"The one thing I was thankful for about dry land was no pirates, yet here we are," Druquilla grumbles as she twists to avoid the crossbow bolt. Then using the motion she draws back the string of her bow and returns fires at the one that on that tried shooting her.

Seeing that they've been flanked, Mist let's out a squeak of alarm. Spinning his pack around in front of him to put something solid (albeit ineffective) between himself and the beasts, he clutches the lump on his chest where the green crystal hangs under his tunic.
Mist is holding his action to cast eldritch blast at either of the giant weasels if they get any closer.

Just noticing the bolts, Zenix would wait until he could see his attacker. Once he caught glimpse of one of them from the right, he simply threw one of his secondary daggers at lightning speed, directly to their head.

He turns his face and gives a slight eyeroll at the flattery being poured on by Zandeyr.
