Sef listens to Bri explain where help is needed. "I would kind of like to help out the people in Whitehaven, but if you need our help we could certainly join you Brianna." He glances over at Malcom. "What are your thoughts?" Having finished his meal, he stands as the group continues to talk.
(OOC - I'm assuming the 'search and rescue' is what the group was leaning towards and that was the Ararosa task.)
"Whitehaven has no more casters to give and our intelligence says the girl they've decided to submit to a reading is divinely gifted. No worries there," Brianna replies. "Now you've joined us if you choose to return to Whitehaven it best be in disguise," she adds with a curt nod.

“But no living man am I! You look upon a woman...You stand between me and my lord and kin. Begone, if you be not deathless! For living or dark undead, I will smite you, if you touch him.” ― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Return of the King
"Your intelligence?" Sef says to Brianna with a laugh. But he then speaks to Malcom. "Bri is probably right about going back to Whitehaven. I mean, I could make a disguise but it might be best to avoid being seen there - especially with readers there."
"If we're decided then let's get going," Bri says grinning.
The party packs up and joins the group leaving to stop the Reaping in Ararosa. It's a three day trip on the road but moving stealthy as a group it will take nearly a week. They spit Rax and Hagan standing with a group of other young people. Sylas and Devlyn are no where in sight!
"We're moving on foot. No carts and no horses. I hope you can keep up," Hagan says to Sef and Malcom curtly.
OOC: Anything y'all want/need before leaving the underground resistance camp?

Looking at Malcom Nadarr nods, "It has been a while since I got out and saw the world. Why not? If it means less paper work then I shall join you. Tell Dev he can take my work while he is here." Nadarr says smiling at Bri as she grabs her armor and gets ready to join the group going to Ararosa. Upon hearing they won't have horses, she sighs. "No horses, just my luck..." she grumbles under her breath.
Moving with the others the party reaches topside in the second group traveling through a maze of tunnels and not through the portal as before. The sunlight hurts your eyes for a moment but it's still early morning and you're feed as well as rested for nearly a week's worth of travel. Each of you have brought a particular talent to the mission and banded together under the leadership of Bri, her twin brother Hagan and Rax the goliath. Everyone's on foot and your merry band of seven however move through the forest as quickly as the ground cover allows.
"Five days on foot. It'd be shorter with horse but longer with carts and then our numbers would be recognized. This way it looks like we're all travelers," Bri explains as you walk together but fanned out.
OOC: Each of you will roll 1d100 for traveling. You can discuss the order and we'll move on from there. Before however do any checks or RP you'd like.

Sef takes a look around as they emerge into the sunlight. As he does, he tries to make mental note of anything nearby that would help him find the spot again when they return. He then looks around to the others, ready to get started.
(OOC: Roll for traveling 83. Sef would probably try to stick to the back of the group as much as possible.)
Also, I am going to go ahead and roll portent for the day here as well:
15 and 8
Malcom would nod in understanding to Bri’s understanding, but wouldn’t have any other RP. He may make some small talk, but in general would only speak if spoken to. He would take a spot somewhere more towards the middle front of the group.
OOC: I'll take the 'travel days' rolls in order of posting. Fair please roll your travel roll.
The party is moving through the forest and do not see anyone else amongst the resistance moving into the forest. Rax and the twins don't seem to be very chatty as you move through the overgrowth without a clear path pushing through the low branches of trees and brambles make it hard to move.
"We move apart to not draw attention," Bri reminds the party as they move.
The party moves without issue. The day passes into early evening and the sun begins to sink in the sky darkening the thick canopy above faster than if the party was outside of it. Moving through the forest however the party begins to hear the crackling of a fire and smell the faint scent of baking bread. It's at first a very odd. Rax says back hiding amongst the trees while the twins seem to debate what to do.
"I...there's usually no one in the woods this deep," Bri explains to the party.
Just ahead the party can see the flicking of firelight on the trees aheadp possibly a campsite?

Sef comes up quietly to where the twins are speaking. He speaks quietly. "Should I try to get closer to see who is there without being seen?" He glances around at the others to see if they have any thoughts.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sef nods to Bri without another word and moves forward cautiously towards the apparent encampment. He watches his steps to avoid noise and tries to keep concealed behind the trees and foliage. He tries to get close enough to get a view of what is happening. (Stealth: 19)
Sef isn't that well hidden as well as catches a few branches pushing forward:
Move ahead 15ft of the party Sef can see a fine campsite has been made in a clearing. It has a pitched tent, a fire burning with roasting meat on a spit, there's a rock with bread baking on embers, and a fiddle resting on a fallen tree that looks like the camper is using as a seat.

Malcom gives a nod to Sef. “Yes, I guess we do have a form of obligation to that family... that does seem like the best course of action.”
He then turns to Nadarr and Ainje. “Does that sound good to you? Whatever we do, I think it should be as a team... will you join us?” Malcom asks.
