Reelq shakes his head and shrugs as he moves to following them, hoping that ignoring the sobbing does not come back to bite them later.

You enter a quaint bar that is rather nice compared to other things you've seen here. What do you do?

Randall heads to the back where he hoped to find someone that he can purchase rooms from.

Durthon walks inside and walks to the nearest person that seems to be working there "greetings, would you be able to get me something hot to eat and a mug of beer?" if they seem friendly he would add "we seem to have lost our way in the forest, what is the name of this place?"

'Barovia. Give me a second.' They go into the back and gets a canned coke ale

Thariv looks around the place to see what sort of clientele is here in this misty town called Barovia. He then takes a seat and also orders an ale. 

"Is it always this foggy here in Barovia?" he asks the keeper. 

Has been for centuries.

Reelq simply takes a seat and looks around the place, seeing what the other people inside the are doing. Occasionally he will let his senses go back to his familiar to see if it notices anything.

Randall heads over to join the rest of the group, giving up on their search to find a room and resolving to figure it out when they got tired. Instead they ask the keeper, "Are there any places worth exploring around these parts? We are sorta new here."

Ha. I you knew better you never would've came. Go right back to where you were.

"Well I'm not sure that we know how. Unless you have an idea?" Randall is still curious but they are now on guard after hearing this warning.

I mean, you could attack strahd, but you'd most likely die trying. But if you succeed, free ale for your life!

Randall shakes their head, "Who is this Strahd guy? And is he somehow the key to getting out of here? Also what is that moaning that is outside?"

Oh that's just Mad Mary. Strahd is our vampire dictator.

Thariv shakes his head and chuckles, taking a quaff from his drink. "Your vampire dictator?" he says, scoffing. "If we're going to slay a vampire, we'll need a bit more incentive than ale, eh?" He looks to his comrades with a shrug and a raised eyebrow, as if to ask if this barkeep is pulling their legs.

His face becomes serious, as he feels a strange pull on his mind from the coral in his pocket. "Seriously," he says in a low voice to the barkeep. "Is there something here...something that needs fixing, or solving?" He can't put his finger on it, but he feels something from the distant reef where he nearly died nudging him to ask these questions. 

What we need is Strahd dead.

"Killing a vampire king is a little above my pay grade." Randall says with a frown. "Are there any smaller tasks we might be able to take care of first?"

Let me see...You may want to go to the seer.

"The seer?" Randall asks curiously, "Where might we find them?"

Durthon strokes his beard after tasting the ale. Not the best that he has had before, but good after that walk in the misty forest. "I agree, overthrowing the local government without any other context is a bit much to ask from us. Could you tell me something else about this Mad Mary?"
