Can a blind wizard use his familiar's senses to see and thereby satisfy the requirement for some spells that say you need to see?

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
You have to use an Action to see through the familiar's eyes - and it only lasts for 1 round (the start of your next turn). So you could use it with a Bonus Action or Reaction spell - but not with an Action spell unless you have and use an Action Surge or similar ability.
Action to see, then something like Misty Step. Works fine. I've used it for a bad guy to escape imprisonment while they thought they had taken sufficient precautions.

Does the Warlock Invocation: Voice of the Chain Master feature work for this?
No. Find Familiar normally has a range of 100 ft to be able to view through its senses. Voice of the Chain Master just extends that range to the whole plane you're on. It doesn't stop it being an Action to use.

I've made this comment on other threads of people asking how their blind character can see: If you just want your character to be blind for RP reasons, but don't want to go all in, just give them a 6th sense that functions exactly like sight (blocked by fog/darkness/etc).
Why go through all the trouble of making a flaw with no downside?
Tasha's has new fighting styles for fighters... one of them is blind fighting which might make for an interesting build.
I too have noticed that many want to play some daredevil/blind master type that can function while blind without suffering the penalties. The roleplay challenges this character could provide with having to deal with the penalties is a gold mine.

As pointed out by others, seeing through the familiar requires constant use of your action, so only bonus and reactions are available for casting.

(edit: what about an Homunculus?)

What about the Homunculus? Nothing in its feature suggests you can see through its senses?

Tiny Servant?
Is there any way this can work?
Homebrew.
Edit: Or Robe of Eyes.

Action Surge, cuz fighters are the greatest wizards of all.

I'm going to make this way harder than it needs to be.
