1. Person hosting this game makes a signup thread. We then wait for an optimal amount of people to join. (This phase)
2. Once enough people are in, a seperate game thread is made. Each player is pm'ed their roles. (Albeit with exceptions, to save time, some hosts don't send PM's to regular townies and say 'if you didn't get a pm you're a townie')
3. Game goes on until someone/some team wins.
4. It is declared who does the next game. Repeat process with a new host.

Also the day cycle and night cycle is long so that everyone can read and give their opinions over a long period of time, so the game is played over the course of anywhere from a day or 2 - a week
